• ID of Module cRIO-9081

  I use a property of e/s FPGA node to get the serial number and the ID of the Module for each module in my cRIO-9081.  The serial numbers match exactly what I thought, it was in my cRIO.  The ID of the Module, however, makes no sense.  I thought that the ID of the Module would have been 9201 for a module OR-9201.  I got a number: 21754370963.

  What should be the ID of the Module?

  The module ID returned by the property ID of Module is not the name of the actual module (e.g. 9201). It returns an ID that you can then associate with a specific module as described in the link below.

  It is possible to use modules in the product description. It is true that no Toolbox is available when the display of product description, however simply place the tag module suitable in the layout and it must be rendered when viewing the product on the front-end server. Or alternatively, go to a page, insert the module, then copy the code inserted into the page on the product description.

  I searched unsuccessfully for a reference guide to adding modules to my sites of Muse, specifically a Blog and News. All the tutorials I've found so far require the Developer tab, which seems only will be available if you pay for the package full webCommerce. However, online marketing includes Blog and News modules. And I read that I can do this with Web marketing package.

  Can someone direct me to a full tutorial on the configuration of these modules with a package of webMarketing BC.

  Thank you for your continued support, but none of your suggestions are correct. The problem was, since "Enable online content (incompatible with Muse) edition" was not checked. It would seem that it is automatically disabled when you download a Muse site BC believes that you do not modify the content. That actually makes sense.

  We have a 9073 cRIO chassis and a digital input module (NI 9421). We installed also driver on this website - http://sine.ni.com/psp/app/doc/p/id/psp-177/lang/en and added 'modules C series' under the 'chassis (cRIO - 9073)"as shown in the illustration #1 as an attachment.

  True to use 9421 is this way? And should we right click and select "deploy all '? And how can we resolve the conflict as pictured #2?

  First of all, make sure you have the drivers and rt versions listed here:

  Since you seem to have most of the currently running system, I think that you do not have those are installed.

  To solve the problem in photo 2, follow the instructions to install on your cRIO scan engine support. This document is for PXI chassis, but it explains the general process:

  As for your other question, you seem to be using the hybrid mode, which uses both FPGA (you have your module to your FPGA project level) and the scan mode of the interface (you have your module to the "frame" of your project level). • cRio profibus - configuration download does not

  I received a cRio 9074 and a PB of cRrio OR the test configuration module and see if we want to use it for a future project. So far this configuration gives me a lot of trouble and I came on I can't fix on my own. I want to run the master module.

  While the selection of drive in the Configurator works, I am unable to download any configuration, I have create with the comsoft on the module Configurator. The program always just stops giving me an error like attached log. I have updated all the required software and recommended in all the post and I could find the documents but without success.

  I'm under the following specifications:

  chassis: cRio-9074

  module: cRio PB master/slave

  NOR-MAX 5.5.0f0

  NOR-RIO 13.0

  NI-VISA 5.4 (with the security settings defined as requested in the installation instructions)

  Configurator3 Comsoft 2.1.4

  CRIO PB GSD 1.00 (that's what the States file GSD, same dough, I installed cRIO_PB_Master_2.0.1)

  Win7SP1

  I turn off all firewalls and spin the cRio in a local ethernet.

  I have really no idea what to do more.

  Any help is appreciated.

  I think I know the problem, the module cannot have a downloaded configuration when it is in autoslave mode. This is explained in the manual, but the error thrown is not useful. Run the master sample to take the slave out of the mode of autoslave. After that, you should be able to download the configuration.

  Which version of the driver RIO do you have?  The minimum software support for the chassis is technically LabVIEW 2014 but driver versions are more important.

  I am writing my bachelor on the dynamic memory and the vibration tests.

  The project I design an experimental platform used to excite some mechanical components.

  We need several sensors (MON, accelerometers, DC motors etc.), we use a cRIO 9082.

  However, when I want to connect to the cRIO I can't OR Max, that is I can't set it up. I can see it only in the browser OR (see photo).

  I am connected directly to the cRIO via a crossover cable and IPv4 is set to automatically assign the IP address.

  Any ideas of how I properly connect to the cRIO 9082.

  I'm new on the job with this kind of electronic products, since I am majoring in mechanical engineering - so please keep the explanations as simple as possible ;-)

  Thank you very much for your answer.

  I had to disable the Windows Firewall as well as the AVG firewall, that did the trick.

  Apparently Windows does not allow this type of connection.

  After you turn off the firewall, I added the cRIO using the IP address, and it seems to work very well.

• Do cRIO 9014 Wireless

  I helped with the FIRST Robotics competition and the only problems I've ever seen with the wireless setup were typical problems related to Wireless Communication (range limits, network dropouts, etc.).

  To make your cRIO wireless you can definitely use this method and it should work perfectly, I did personally and have not had any problems.

  Check out the tutorial that we have on our Web site for making of PACs wireless NOR industrial Wi-Fi access points. You can also see the 3rd party WiFi Module cRIO.

  It is possible to do with DHCP, but set all of your addresses statically makes things a lot easier in a closed/private network environment.

• Strange error with cRIO and scan Mode

  I'm scanning two modules cRIO on a controller of 9012 + 9112 bottom of basket 8 channels in scan mode, and I call the function 'read the Variable scanned '.

  The search for this error on NI.com gives no help at all.  This is the first time I see this (I've been running this code for some time without error).  All software is since the dev of August 2011.

  Resolved: I was calling the function "Get the Period.VI of Scan" scan at 1 Hz.  This seems to have caused the 9205 (not the 9237) produce this error.

  I removed the call to the offending function and this has solved the problem,

• cRIO PTP time sync: 35 second offset?

  I'm new to the PTP Protocol, and I'm trying to synchronize the date and time between the 2 CompactRIOs and a GPS (a Tekron TTM 01-E) clock.

  The PTP network comms work correctly: I can put 3 devices as master and the other 2 will follow his time. Especially, when I push the Philippe clock to be a slave, he will ignore the GPS value and track the value of cRIO.

  However, regardless of which device is the master the cRIOs times will always be 35 s ~ before the time of Philippe. The 2 cRIOs will always be the same time.

  Why could this be? How can I get rid of this shift?

  I don't know whether a problem with cRIO generic PTP config or config. I've attached a screenshot of 2 desks if it provides clues. Any guidance/insight will be appreciated!

  

  35 seconds corresponds to the current offset between time scales TAI and UTC. PTP usually use the time scale TAI, but not always. What is your device Philippe configured to report the time UTC when the master?
