Adding a radio station as identified in windows media
Hello
I find it really frustrating with Microsoft because they don't publish easy guides... which are easy to find on what should be simple subjects.
I recently split to a radio station who was listed in the radio on windows media guide section. I am creating a new station and I want to know how do I get it listed on windows media guide. Can you please point me in the right direction.
Thank you very much
Jim
Thank you... I managed to find the answer. For anyone else who needs to know that you can send * address email is removed from the privacy * and they will subsequently send you a reply with a list of demands. It would seem that this is not an easy thing to get from within the United Kingdom. iTunes is so much easier and so is ShoutCast. Shame really windows Media Player of the coz and media library are excellent pieces of software.

adding new files or remove the old Windows Media Player files. (Vista)
Since June 2010, I was not able to add new files or remove the old Windows Media Player files. I can click on a new file and play using WMP or add to a playlist that is currently playing, but it does not recognize that it was added after as I close the program and re-open it. Or I can delete the files that no longer exist on my computer but WMP always has them as my files. When I click on add new media, it recognizes the right amount of files I would be adding, says to add them and then nothing is there.
Your media library has probably been corrupted. To reset, follow the instructions for WMP 11 Vista at http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary . Note the reset of the library will make you lose all the counts to play and possibly ratings too. Tim Baets

Online Radio Web sites that use Windows Media Player - opens the player in a new window, but instead of buffering, said he plays but not output / sound. Certainly not security/pop up/firewall issue. Windows Media Player works fine CD playback, etc.
Hello
then, you definitely have a machine which both sound and you can establish a Internet. I think that it s a problem of pure mediaplayer (softwareproblem).
You have the following options:
1. reinstall your mediaplayer or update.
2. install another software mediaplayer like winamp or some other jukebox
3. .. no other optionsGive some feedback, then maybe I can help you with your problem. ;)

Windows Media Player Date out of sync with PC
I noticed that when I added "Date last played" a category on Windows Media Player, the date indicated changes 6 hours before midnight. In other words, songs played before 18:00 (18:00) CDT show today date, while the songs played AFTER 18:00 (18:00) CDT have date of tomorrows as "Date last played."
It seems that the date in the database for the music is out of sync, but I can't find a way to fix it. It's more annoying than anything else I want it fixed.
Hi Baldmongoose,

No Windows Media Player for Windows 7
I am trying to send files to my computer (Windows 7) to my Play Station 3 Wireless through Windows Media Player.
I just discovered that my computer does not have Windows Media Player on it. I could play movies with her, but never open the program. Then I tried it in my programs and files, but the only thing that came was Windows Media Center.
I also tried to make assistance remotely with a support technician, but after 25 minutes with their help, they could not understand the problem. And now, my files play not at all, saying that I haven't completely downloaded the windows media player and sends me the site to download it again. Unfortunately I have windows 7, and is the only file that I can download for xp and windows vista.
Does anyone think they could help me everything?
Thank you. Sosso
See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/windows-media-player.
If you have a version N of Windows 7, you need the Media Feature Pack.
