Adding a route in a device of 1113 (4.1)

people

How can I add a route to a device of 1113 to 4.1

I do not see a route add command

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer

Hello

You cannot add a route into the unit. You can only configure a default gateway on the device.

Default gateway of the device must take all routing decisions.

  • Routing problem between the VPN Client and the router's Ethernet device

    Hello

    I have a Cisco 1721 in a test environment.

A net 172.16.0.0/19 simulates the Internet and a net 192.168.1.0/24 simulates the net, the VPN tunnel must go to (intranet).

The net 172.16.0.0 depends on the router 0 FastEthernet, Intranet (VPN) hangs on Ethernet 0.

The configuration was inspired form the sample Configuration

"Configuring the Client VPN Cisco 3.x for Windows to IOS using Local extended authentication"

and the output of the ConfigMaker configuration.

Authentication and logon works. Client receives an IP address from the pool. But there's a routing problem

side of routers. Ping client-side - do not work (the VPN client statistics that count encrypt them packets, but not to decrypt).

Ping the router works too, but decrypt and encrypt customer statistics in VPN packets count progressive

(customer has a correct route and return ICMP packets to the router).

    The question now is:

How to route packets between the Tunnel and an Ethernet device (Ethernet 0)?

conf of the router is attached - hope that's not too...

    Thanks & cordially

    Thomas,

Can't wait to show something that might be there, but I don't see here. You do not have the card encryption applied to one of the interfaces, perhaps it was not copied. Assuming your description you do it, or should it be, applied to the fa0 and you are connected. Try how you ping? Since the router or a device located on E0? If you ping the router, you will need to do an extended ping of E0 to the ip address of the client has been assigned. If your just ping the router without the extension, you will get sales and decrypts that you declare on the client. Have you tried to ping from the client to interface E0? Your default route on the router is pointing to fa0? You have a next hop to affect? You have several NIC on the client pc? Turn off your other network cards to check that you don't have a problem with routing on the client if you have more than one.

  • Adding static route to the ACS

How can I add a static route to my device SE ACS?

I try to get AAA works on a Cisco 871 is an end of distance of a vpn s2s ASA to 871. On the router, I use as the source for Ganymede interface vlan1.

My ACS server is on the subnet for my ASA management, but the GBA to the Remote LAN road is via its default gateway and interface from the INSIDE of the SAA. I need to get the traffic of Ganymede ACS to return through the management interface of ASA.

    Thanks in advance.

    John,

There is no way to set a static route in the GBA unit. The only network settings, you can set are the ip address/subnet, default gateway and dns servers.

I use the WiFi WNR614 N300 router. Is it possible to limit the bandwidth for devices that are connected on it.

    Hi @vic2408

    Welcome to the community!

To answer your question, there is no way to limit the bandwidth on each of the devices.
You may need to use a 3rd party software to do this.

  • Windows 7 network can't see multiple devices on the network

Hi all.  I'm about to leave my hair on this issue - I hope someone can prevent the horror that would be me without hair.

I am running Windows 7 Home Edition on a personal computer that is connected via cable to a router UVerse also providing my home with wireless services.

A few months ago, I could see - of my PC, network and devices and printers - the two PS3, XBox systems and Samsung TV devices that are connected to my wireless network.  Apparently randomly, my computer has ceased to be able to see these devices.  After trying everything I could think of, I've finally reformatted the system (before Christmas) and everything was good again until last week when my computer stopped once more to see these devices.  I * really * don't want to reformat my system again...

Here are some details on where I started after the last reformat:

The PC is connected to a homegroup.

The PC has a wired connection to the router.  The devices are connected over wireless.

    The firewall is turned on.

    AVG anti-virus has been activated.

Network discovery, file and sharing printers and streaming media are all enabled.

    Password sharing is disabled.

Devices could stream Netflix/Hulu as well as files on my computer (using the PlayOn Server - I've never used WMP).

Now my devices can still Streaming Netflix/Hulu, but not the files on my computer.  The PC can't see the devices and the devices cannot see the PC.

Here is a list of most of the things I've tried to solve (although I've done so many things, I probably don't forget some):

I added the PC to the wireless network, so now that it is connected both cables and wireless.  I even tried to fill these connections, although I removed the bridge when I saw that there was no difference.

I have disabled the firewall completely.

    I disabled the AV entirely.

I switched a residential group to a working network and vice versa.

I gave you the assigned IPs devices in the router configuration.

I've rolled back all the windows updates installed since the last time the devices showed in the PC network.

I've removed the devices on the network, reconnected the and reconfigured to ensure that they have the media streaming (if applicable).

I did several reboots the PC, the router, and devices.

I added the PlayStation Network and XBOX Live and applications hosted under NAT/game on my router.

I have enabled file sharing for devices that use 40 encryption or 56-bit.

    Additional troubleshooting information:

When I try to add a device using the Add Device dialog box, no device never shows.

Under media streaming options, when I look at instruments under all the networks and Local network, no unknown device only shows (even in WMP).  All devices that * show are already set to 'allow '.

If I have access to my router configuration, the devices will appear as connected.

I can ping devices from the PC.

I searched endlessly on the Internet (including other threads on this forum) and have tried all of the suggestions I thought.  The only thing I can't do is activate uPNP on my router because routers Uverse do not offer this option.  However, I don't think that it's important because my PC could see these devices for some time after my last reformat and made no changes to the configuration of the router.

Because multiple and different wireless devices are involved, and because a reformat solves the problem, in my view, it is a Windows problem, but I can't understand what to change on my system to make things work again.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

It's a shame that you have to format the system first and now, the problem still persists. I really appreciate the efforts made to try to resolve the problem. This can be due to any dispute of third party software due to which the connection failed. I suggest you follow the methods below and check.

Method 1: Run the network troubleshooter to diagnose the problem.

    Run the network troubleshooter

Method 2: start the computer in safe mode with network and then perform the clean boot.

Step 1: restart the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem occurs, proceed as in the link:

See: , start your computer in safe mode

Step 2: If the safe mode with network works, perform clean boot and check if any third-party application is causing problem.

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: see 'How do I reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting' to reset the computer starts normally after troubleshooting.

Method 3: To enable the network devices to display on the network map, they must meet four requirements:

    • Must be a HOME network or work: Mapping network only display the devices connected to a HOME network or WORK location. Devices connected to a network PUBLIC or FIELD cannot be displayed using the network card.
    • Devices must be DETECTABLE: The network discovery setting allows devices to be able to be seen by other devices on the same network. For more information, please consult: , enable or disable network discovery
    • Devices must comply with the LINK LAYER TOPOLOGY DISCOVERY Protocol: Topology Discovery LLTD (Link Layer) is a protocol developed by Microsoft to enable networked devices to 'discover' each other. If a device does not use the LLTD protocol so it can not be displayed in the network map. Windows 7 computers have the LLTD protocol implemented.
    • LLTD must be enabled on your LAN connection properties: The Link Layer Topology Discovery Mapper of e/s driver and the Link Layer Topology Discovery responder must be enabled on your local area connections properties panel.

To check LLTD is enabled, you can refer to the following steps:

    a. Select open network and sharing Center by clicking on the icon of your network down to the right of your task bar:

    b. now, click connect to the Local network

    c. now, click on Properties

    d. ensure that two LLTD options below are selected (by default, these options are still enabled in Windows 7).

From now to try the methods above and let us know the status. We will be happy to help you further.

  • Static routing

    Hello

I'm trying to set up a NSX environment using the static routes. As I am not a network expert, I need help here. Let me describe my environment:

    -NSX 6.2.1 is installed

-DLR one is deployed and a logical switch is created. 172.16.10.0/24 is assigned to the logical switch and a few virtual machines are running.

-One ESG is deployed. The GSS and the DLR are connected a logical switch in Transit and on the static route is added between the two.

-The GSS was uplinked to the outside world via External-vDS and having 192.168.10.10 as IP uplink

Now, the problem is that I can't reach the virtual computers in the VXLAN (172.16.10.0/24) from external computers.

I have to add a static route on the device Physics (Cisco router) (route ip 172.16.10.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.10)?

If it is not needed, what I have to do this work?

    I really appreciate your answers.

    Thank you

You'll want to make sure that traffic destined to the networks behind the GSS is correctly routed through the physical network in the overlay.  One way to do would be to use a static route as you had mentioned to the physical router.  Once in place, the GSS would need a static route to send traffic for 172.16.10.0/24 network to the DLR.  The DLR would need a default route, which would point to the internal GSS interface, while the GSS would have a default route pointing to the physical router.

  • Routing VLAN of the Internet

    Hi all

I am facing a problem since a few days now and can't seem to get the hang of it.

    -

On my host, I have a physical NETWORK card with Internet access.

    I installed VMWare Server 2.0.

    I configured an address network 172.16.0.0 with a subnet 255.255.252.0 VMnet2, so I 172.16.0.1 - available for my virtual machine 172.16.3.254.

My host / bridged network address is 192.168.2.0 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0.

    -

    I created 2 VM:

    -

VM1 has 2 NETWORK interface card:

NIC1 is bridged (((192.168.2.130) VMnet0) so this virtual machine to the internet).

NIC2 with address 172.16.0.10 (VMnet2) I want to use for the virtual local area network with its own IP address / subnet.

The other VM (VM2) has only 1 NIC (172.16.0.11) and connects to VMnet2, 172.16.0.0 network.

So far, it works fine; the VM 2 can communicate via VMnet2 and use the virtual network to expand all. VM1 I also have Internet, since it is filled with my host. If I add the VMnet2 eCard to my host, I can also connect to the virtual machine via RDP with their 172,16 addresses.

Now the question: I am trying to get internet from my host / transit network on the VMnet0 virtual LAN VMnet2, so my virtual network 172.16.0.0 has internet connection.

I tried everything so far; Set the VM1 VM2 bridge, I installed RRAS on VM1, I added a static route on NIC2 to destination: 192.168.2.0, 255.255.255.0 Gateway 172.16.0.10, etc etc, but I just can't seem to get internet routed to the address 172.16.0.0 network.

What I am doing wrong? I can give all VM a nic VMnet0 bridged, but I want them to use the 172.16 network - only-, with the exception of the VM1 who would work as a gateway through which they connect / route internet traffic to 192.168.2.0.

Is my wrong setting, do I have to set up networks of VM servers different or is - this all simply not possible to deliver a 192.168.2.0/24 network to a network of 172.16.0.0/22 (which, to my knowledge, should be possible using the static routes)?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    With sincere friendships.

    Kami.

    KrazeyKami wrote:

I am able to ping 192.168.2.130 from VM2. I can not however, ping 192.168.2.100 (my host PC) or 192.168.2.1.

It's normal, your host does not have a return path, it will send the answers to queries its default gateway ping and who does not know how to reach 172.16.0.0.

    You have two options:

    1. If possible, you should indicate the default "main", a physical bridge, where yout host points etc. for a route to your virtual network, or

    2. you must add this route on all the systems that should be able to send packets back to 172.168.0.0.

    "Route add 172.16.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 192.168.2.130 Pei."

So I guess that the gateway properly functions, 192.168.2.130 are on VM1.

    Yes.

Now for the next step, shouldn't there be any routing adds or ISA / RRAS to send data to my 192.168.2.1 on this NIC.130?

The problem will be that your default physical bridge must be aware of the route back. If you are unable to add a route to this device, it (Internet connection) does not work.

In this case, only NAT can help, as the packets appear to come from the 192.168.2.130 and the physical default gateway knew how to get to this address.

We have an airport extreme connected generation via Ethernet to a switch that provides network access to our entire House (about 10-15 connections) via wifi access points all Ethernet hard wired (linksys + apple) and a direct wire to a PC. Airport extreme is the dhcp and is connected to a gpon fiber using PPPoE.

The problem now is that the AirPort Extreme disappears from the airport on iOS Mac utility and Windows, it is found however the network and the Internet continues to operate normally on all connected devices. I can also continue ping on the router.

I have reset the AirPort Extreme to the default settings, but the problem continued...

I tried to unplug all devices and have AirPort Extreme only connected to him have the fiber but the problem persists...

no idea how I can fix this problem?

You describe a known problem with Back to My Mac which first appeared around July 13. The problem manifests itself in a message "Device not found" meant to be displayed in triangular AirPort your AirPort base station with a yellow icon utility, while the router of the device functions others continue to work normally.

If you use an airport Time Capsule, backups will not work using that device or USB hard drive units connected to it.

Apple will only be able to solve this problem, so all you can do is wait for them to do. If you want to contact them to tell them about it, using the contact Support link.

There is a solution: on a Mac, open AirPort Utility and select file > configure other...

For each of your routers Apple AirPort Base Stations serving their respective networks: its IP address and password (if you don't know either of them, read the Note that follows the horizontal rule below). Then, on the tab of the Basic Station , delete all the entries in the Back to My Mac using the 'negative' button, then click on Update.

Which must be re-established appearance of this base station in AirPort Utility, as well as in a side bar of the Finder, if all shared disks are plugged on. It will also restore possibility of Time Machine to save on these discs, if this has also been a problem for you.

If this seems to imply that you will not be able to use Back to My Mac until Apple fixes it, you are probably right. Well to diagnose problems of the CCMM is tedious work that I have not yet finished.

Apple does not participate on this site except in a very limited way, so don't expect is not a response from them, here or elsewhere for that matter. We'll just have to wait for them to fix it.
