  How to add new users to ODI, currently I connect as a SUPERVISOR. What is the difference between the user and Loginname?

  You can add additional ODI users to which you can assign different privileges. You're probably not all users who connect as a supervisor, so that you can give unique users with their own passwords. Then you assign roles to their evolution on their responsibilities.

  To create new users, identify yourself as a supervisor and go to the Security tab, open the users section and select 'new user '. You can then drag and drop to assign privileges ODI different out-of-the-box. These users and their privileges are stored in the ODI deposits, so that the user can use their username to connect from a Studio of ODI or the Console.

  'Connection name' is a user-specified configuration to connect to ODI in the Studio of ODI. It is local to the user's computer. It stores the username ODI as well as specific repositories of ODI to connect to. You can have multiple login names, for example:
  Joe - work on Dev Repo
  Joe - job Repo on QA
  Joe - Master Repo

• Adding new user limited now that it is the only account that I can connect to

  I can not connect as administrator on my windows xp pro 2002.  After you have configured the new limited user can't access a login screen other than my limited user account.  I did some research and tried several fixes. all to nothing does not.  Here are some of the things I did to remedy the situation and what happened:

  1. on the Welcome screen, click ctr, remove ALT twice... Nothing happens and still allows me to log on as a limited user
  2 enter the hidden in safe mode administrator account.  When you connect in safe mode, it asks that I choose a user in the list... There are no users listed.
  3 download Tweeku, allow me to download this program, or any other file .exe "NOT a VALID WIN32 APPLICATION".
  4 4 changer change username, log in, etc.  All don't allow my same limited access account
  5. I tried to many other fixes as well, all with access denied... any privledges.

  Bottom line... If I could do to an empty login screen, I would be able to login as administrator.  I note that in user accounts in Control Panel there is only my limited user listed but in virtue of the computer/administrative management tools there are my admin and accounts admin hidden as well as a few others but all have been disabled except the limited user account.   I'm out!  Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

• How to get user defined Native Types is displayed

  I added a new user defined native Type using type Admin

  

  I saved, closed and then reopened the Data Modeler, but he does not appear in the Source Type drop-down list when I define a column in the relational model. I've defined the relational model to use 12 c as the Site of RDBMS. Am I missing a step in the installer?

  the native DB types never appear in the column definition. You need to create the new type of logical data and map it to the native type or change the mapping of logical type existing. The steps are confusing because it's like the problem or chicken (which is the first), you you will be defined first:

  (1) define the native type - save definitions - defined by the user of the native types had to be saved in order to be available for native types logic mapping

  (2) identify the type of logic - probably VARIANT in your case, define the mapping of native type logic

  (3) in native type definition define the mapping of native code to the logical type (it is mapped on the CLOB type on your photo - probably you will change it)

  (4) save the definitions

  You cannot change C-> etc. put into service.

• CS5.1: How to create a new swatch palette 'User Defined'.

  CS5.1: Sub window 'Libraries of nuances', 'User Defined' is grayed out so I can't access my palette personal swatch. I have the data to recreate it, but can't find a "new palette" selection.

  Thanks Monika. Your answer has led me to what seems to be a success. I opened an existing file that had my palette of integrated shade inside, and then selected "Save Swatch Library as HAVE", giving it the name of my swatch palette. This palette will now appear under "User Defined".

• Add a pattern created for a user-defined Swatch Library?

  This has been driving me crazy and I desperately need help!

  I created a template for my class of mode. I dragged to the swatch palette. I know to use it on another document, I need to register in a swatch library. I tried to add to my library of nuances 'Fashion' to keep it with the other model I and the colors that I saved. It won't let me. I can't open the document library of swatch in the folder of the user, as clarified by troubleshooting, because the model I created is available on the document in which it was created, and is therefore not an option of swatch in the core library.

  So, how can I add a new shade of pattern to an existing library defined by the user if he won't let me hang out with a palette of user-defined nuance?

  Open the file in illustrator swatch library defined by the user. Add the nuance of pattern there. Close and save the user-defined Swatch Library.

  In the future, library of user-defined shades will result in the shade of motive being present.

  When adding the user, I would like to add the name and the password as well.

  I don't want to use this TS_EngineDisplayNewUserDialog I want to be done with the user input from all this information that I receive information from Active Directory.

  Is this possible?

• Problem adding a new user?

  Last month, I added 18 users on my account first Cap I used a CSV file that included the e-mail account of the Manager of the learner to identify the contractor. No problem even if the majority leader was NOT as a user of Captivate, only his e-mail account was added as the supervisor of a Manager.

  Today, I can not add a new user (after the release of the first of February 2016) because the Manager of the person is not already in the system.

  However, my CSV file of origin listed the same administrator (using his email account) as the supervisor of a Manager throughout the world in the CSV file.

  So what has changed? And what do we do when we want to add a person who does not have a supervisor? As the CEO of the company? At some point, we have the ability to add a person who is not a supervisor.

  Am I missing something obvious?

  This occurs when you try to add an account is already verified to work with DPS. To create an account delegate, you must add an account that has not yet been used for DPS.

• Not able to access sqlplus command-line linux for the new user added

  We have a strange problem with a new user of linux Redhat , trying to to connect to Oracle 10 g from the command line and would like any suggestions you have.
  
  -other users are able to connect via sqlplus fine to their respective Oracle accounts, both for the new user account.
  -I know the user and the password works because we can connect through Oracle SQL Developer from a terminal Windows.

  It seems that if you have a permissions problem. If your username is not a member of the oinstall group, he or she has no access to the necessary sql * more files. I recommend you read MOS 420083.1 Note for a more in-depth discussion to set the file permissions on the Oracle home.
