Administration panel - activity on the Site updated?

I created editors for two different sites. On my Admin Panel, I can see the activity for each site as well as the prompt is sent. Will be updated in the InContext Admin Panel for each site when the invitation is accepted? I also see the activity of edition/publication for each site? So far, the system seems to work quite well, I don't know what information I should see on the Admin Panel. Thank you.

Hello Skeggs91,

Yes, your description is exactly what you will see in the section "News" of the Admin Panel... You will see all the activities related to a site, including the publication of the draft, savings, invitations and accepted invitations. The list includes the activity of each user - organized by date.

Best regards
Corey

I have Windows vista Ultimate edition. but he started asking for activation after the windows update while it has already been activated before the update.

    Hello, Pichon,

If Windows Vista application unexpected activation

On rare occasions, you may be prompted to activate Windows Vista on a computer that did not previously require Windows Vista activation or has already been activated successfully. For example, this may occur on a computer on which Windows Vista was preinstalled by an OEM installation or Volume licensing and are major hardware changes occurred, such as upgrading the hard disk and memory at the same time.

If you are prompted to reactivate Windows Vista, you can do this by using the Windows Activation Wizard to:

    1. Click Start, and then click computer.
    2. Click System Properties on the toolbar, and then click click here to activate Windows now in the Windows activation area. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.
    3. Select the Windows Vista activation method that you want, and then follow the instructions.

To avoid this problem in the future, obtain the latest service pack for your version of Windows Vista, either through automatic updates or direct download.

To update to Windows Vista and prevent this activation problem does not happen:

    1. Click Start, click all programs, and then click Windows Update.
    2. Click find updates.
    3. As soon as Windows Vista found the updates, click the install updates button.

    can someone help me...

Thanks for the Homeless of entry.  There are many features Kuler users have requested.  The function 'delete comment' is a good idea.  However, the main focus finalizes now the function 'create image '.

  • How can I mark Pages specific 'hot' to communicate to the CRM in the activity of the site

Currently, site activity is sent to SFDC in the form of a link that my sellers can not open because they did not "discover Eloqua.  They see "Site activity", but it's like he goes.  I want to do is tag all my pages (file storage assets) that are hosted in Eloqua in PDF format.  Is there a way to tag these pages so that when they are displayed, they are written in SFDC by their URL so sales knows that they have downloaded a PDF file?

    Thank you

    Josh

Your best bet is to implement the functionality of PDF download in a way where the documents are served from a form. (e.g. during the processing stage, redirect the visitor to the URL of a PDF hosted Eloqua, based on active code they asked. Active codes may be mapped to URLS using a selection list). In this way, you can create a CDO record that corresponds to each downloaded PDF (and synchronization is done on the CDO, triggered from CDO Services), or you can just write the name of the PDF file in a Contact field (as the "last downloaded document") and pop the Contact in a program through the stages of transformation where the program would trigger a custom synchronization of contact.

  • Windows XP svchost.exe problems. Cannot find the latest updates for windows xp.

Hello, this is my first time on the Microsoft Community page.

I have a very strange problem with automatic updates svchost.exe and windows. I know that automatic update of windows, has been known to cause problems on XP and there is thus CPU utilization of memory leaks. Last night, I tried to install the latest windows XP updates, with automatic tool. The tool hanged during the process. Not sure why exactly. I never had a problem with it. I've been running Xp SP 3 for more than five years. In any case, I rebooted my system and checked to see if the updates actually treatment. They do not have. Then I went to the windowsupdate.microsoft site. I was trying to these updates. The scan never completed, he just constantly checked, for about 45 minutes. I decided to do some research. I found the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder "fix" online. He kicked, I renamed the file. And then disabled auto updates and restarted my computer. After windows starts, I re-activated automatic updates and waited. Nothing happened, so I did some research more. I noticed that svchost.exe uses about 25% the use of the processor. Normally my treated systemidle is 99%. I used Process explore and isolated the wuauclt.exe under the svchost.exe file. When I disable automatic updates executable, it is up to a full 99%.

I'm not sure why it uses 25%, when I look at the actual use of the memory for the wuauclt.exe, it is only using about 17 k of memory. Which is quite low. I have not turned on microsoft update, starting in the configurations of parameters at windowsupdate. I know that in the past, that has been a problem and swallowed up system resources.

Any advice would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

There are a lot of threads on this forum - and many others - this problem - just try to do a Google search for UPDATES of XP SVCHOST - hits now more than 8 million.

But to save you the trouble of tracking down the fix OK here is the short version

    1. disable automatic updates using Control Panel icon

    2. restart the computer - SVCHOST is now not going crazy

    3. check which version of Internet Explorer you have installed IE8, IE7 or IE6

    4. download and install - the links below - the good update for Internet Explorer.

Assuming you have Windows XP 32 bits here are the direct download links:

    IE8: IE8-WindowsXP-KB2898785 - x 86 - ENU.exe
    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=41404

    IE7: IE7-WindowsXP-KB2898785 - x 86 - ENU.exe
    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=41442

    IE6: WindowsXP-KB2898785 - x 86 - ENU.exe
    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=41458

    5. Once installed, you can reactivate the automatic updates and using Windows Update.

Note: The bug also affects access via Windows/Microsoft Update Web site.

KB2898785 is the "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer" (December 10, 2013)

There is a bug in the function of automatic update under XP running the SVCHOST process at full CPU load (100% or 50% or 25% depending on the number of CPU cores you have). If you have a Quad core CPU the bug works the CPU at 25% (a carrot out of four) and eventually battles through a conclusion - but if your computer is a single old Celeron or Pentium bug works the CPU chip at 100% load for many, many h/solid.

Faster your processor and RAM than you seem to make a radical difference to the actual times are waiting for you maybe search for updates complete. Most of the old core systems were never designed to deal with this kind of situation and can easily overheat. This is especially true of laptops and desktop systems older where the radiator can be partially blocked with fluff and hairs of animals - which could cause blockages or stops!

Microsoft said last month that the updates of Internet Explorer are treated differently from all the other updates - which is originally the XP update engine run so slowly as to appear frozen. If the update service finds that you don't have the latest version of IE that is currently available, it starts to search the entire tree of updates of IE to see what it takes - rather than offering just the cumulative current update for your system.

But if you manually install the update yourself update Internet Explorer service is fully updated and is not search for updates of IE. But until Ms. fix it will still occur whenever a new update is published.

MS said that intend to prune the IE updates database so that only the main cumulative updates have been offered when a search has been launched - it did not in time for the update as it should of November and obviously has not arrived or worked either in time for the December Update!

MS say they hope to have a fix before the January updates are released (Patch Tuesday) - that the problem will be activated once the next update Cumulative of IE is released.

  • Can I keep the site up to a flash drive and edit on sometimes, a Mac and a PC, other times?

Currently, I am forced to use a PC at my office - running Windows 7 Pro.  At home, I use a MAC running OSX-Maverick.  Each machine has its own (legal) copy of installed CS5.5.  So here's what I can do with DreamWeaver.

Use a USB Flash drive as the "local site" and applicable, being able to connect on my PC, change the site as required, and upload to the remote server.  Maybe a few days later, it's Friday and I can leave early, but I don't get the site updated as I should.  Then, I want to be able to go home, plug the flash drive on my MAC, change the site and upload to the server.  Fact.

At any time the "local site" has been put on the flash drive.  No adjustment is necessary:

    <>- PC NOT flash drive

    PC <>- NO flash player

    <>- MAC NOT flash drive

    MAC <>- NO flash player

    Is this possible?

    Thank you

    J W

In response to these two very useful answers, Yes, I'm the only editor.  I would have no conflict there.  Going further, I had not thought about simpling 'doing' of the site.  And, as I am the only editor, I wouldn't need to check the output (which may be the best way to go anyway).

My time has come, and I thank you for yours,

  • Cannot access the Microsoft Update Site

I get the following error message when you try to access the update site:

Microsoft Update could not be installed on your computer

Make sure that you log on as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group, and then try again.

    More troubleshooting options

    • If your computer is connected to a network and the problem persists, contact your system administrator to see if your Microsoft Update settings are managed by using Group Policy.
    • If your computer is not connected to a network, or if your system administrator has not disabled Microsoft Update, check if the Windows Update service is disabled or stopped. For information about how to start a service, search help and Support on your computer.

Note: If you encounter problems with the installation of Microsoft Update, you can continue to get updates for your computer by going to Windows Update in control Panel.

I don't quite know what to do next.  I would like to be able to access this site for updates that cancelled or failed during the update process automatic (and who seem not to be re - that appear as options when I check the updates).

    Hello

You try to go actually on here Windows Updates site?

    http://www.update.Microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

This site does not work for Vista. You must use the Windows built-in to Vista updates or download them
sites I posted for you last time.

Absolutely do not use the default Administrator account. Just make a new Admin account to
use and leave the other to test and difficulty. In fact, make an Admin NOW account to use to test and fix
According to the needs. If your sole administrator corrupts you will have a big headache.

I was working in Firefox and instead of the site I was going to, I received the message above with a popup that took me to download URL http://dh45.info/popsh9gng0smncpaon3/lp9b2/uns.php?ubn=ff & keyword = pop_lp9b2_608. Tom

Hello Tom, it is a phishing tactic that tries to trick you into installing malicious software, in order to not download or run this kind of stuff! just download firefox from the official site at mozilla.org - more updates are handled automatically by firefox if you don't have to download anything (you can run a check of updates of firefox > help > about firefox).

You can also run a full scan of your system with software security already in place and the various tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & kaspersky security scan to make sure there isn't already a kind of active malware on your system that triggers these false alerts.
