  OK, so I've had this problem for about 6 months now. Whenever I restart my computer, the same CC updates are appearing, in spite of perform the updates at each new session. I renamed the file AAM Updater as explained here by Romsinha Re: why CC Apps can reproduce the same all day for updates? And it works for awhile, then I have to start AGAIN and AGAIN because the issue continues to be. Is Adobe aware of this problem and they are actively trying to fix? Or are they happy with sub par performance CC and this bug annoying?

  I know I'm not the only one. Many other people on this forum and elsewhere on the web have this same problem. Time to fix Adobe and stop embarrassing your loyal customers.

  The 'previous' user is stored in the following registry value.  Although not recommended, you might also be able to define this "external", then remove the permissions of the system update this value so that it can never be changed.  But keep in mind, that it is generally not a good idea to start blocking the system out of the registry.

  I think you mean the webcam screen coverage, you can disable the webcam software if you click effect and select them OFF and it will no longer appear.

  Sorry, but I've never heard of this problem. This really does not for me so I can only give you a few tips that you should try.

  First I remove the webcam driver and install the latest version. While you have to restart the laptop. The latest drivers, you can download it here:

  Also make sure all Windows updates are installed.
  In the worst cases, you must do a fresh install of Windows :(
