Adobe Indesign CS5.5 Disc - Installer failed to initialize
I tried in vain to install my Adobe Indesign cs5.5 drive for the first time in my Dell Latitude E6400 laptop computer (Windows vista, intel core2 /duo - I meet all the system requirements). I get the message "Setup cannot initialize. Please contact Adobe support. »
I followed the suggestions of using indesign cs5 from adobe.com and executed the Adobe Cs5 cleaner tool. This did not help. I also disabled my anti-virus to be sure.
Should I rather download the program from the internet and then enter my serial code? It's my only option? Could you please give me some other suggestions. Your help is greatly appreciated.

As you suggest initially, download the trial of the Adobe.com site. The Setup is the same, and you will be able to enter your serial number, either during installation or in the Help menu after. This will confirm if the problem is your disk or other system soemthing. If it is the drive, call the service and they will send you a new.

Is it possible to download a version of InDesign CS5.5 after installation of Creative suite cloud? A particular customer only uses CS5.5 and I want the exchange of files to be transparent and not save in idml.

If you have a valid serial number for InDesign CS5.5, you can install it, please make sure that you check the minimum system requirements for CS5.5: system requirements for Adobe InDesign for Mac OS and Windows, as it is an earlier application and has not been tested on the latest hardware.

'Download Support Advisor' is a generic error, and we need to understand what is causing the problem. Most of the time, its a problem with the download was not successful or downloaded correctly. So, in this case, re-download the software and do not forget to compare the file size of the file downloaded with the file on the server. Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products
Allows you to check in this case as well and make sure that the download is complete, if the size of the file is correct, to the install.log file.
Navigate in the log files in one of the following folder:
Mac OS: / Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers /.
C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
The name of the log file includes the name of the product and installation date, followed of ".". log.gz."the .gz extension indicates a compressed format.
You can use any tool to unzip to extract the 7z or gz file:
Once unzipped, the log file is a text file, open the .log using TextEdit (Mac OS) and notebook (OS Win)
Scroll to the bottom of the log. Look in the section - summary - for lines that begin with ERROR or FATAL and signals a failure during the installation process.
Copy and paste this section SUMMARIZED here so that we can check for errors.

just uninstall cs5, clean a cleaning use of the CC tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6 then install.
Make sure your file is downloaded to your hard drive sizes are expected file sizes. If you don't know how, ask someone to do it for you.

I bought lightroom 6 at amazon, but it will not be installed. All I said "Installer failed to initialize, please download Adobe install advisor to detect the problem", but it does not exist. If your error is:
"Setup failed to initialize. File not found. ' or 'could not initialize installation. This could be due to missing files.
first of all, rename folder OOBE OOBE.old.
to find the OOBE:
Win 64 bit OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Win 32 bit OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Mac os: HD > library > application support of > adobe > caps
Mac os: USER > library > application support of > adobe > OOB
If it fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
If you use an installation dvd:
Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.
If you are using a mac:
1. try to create a new user account in Mac with administrator privileges.
2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the
3. navigate to the user library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.
4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.
5 restart the installation.
If everything is applicable above fails, check your Setup logs:

Seems that you exported (Interactive) PDF format instead of choose PDF (Print) in the drop-down menu, one of the Print presets from file > Adobe PDF presets...

Adobe Photoshop elements 11 and first fails to initialize and...
.. a statement that downloaded Adobe Support Advisor to look for the problem. After that, however, no problem is found by the Adobe Support Advisor, FAQ have no help, search Google gives no result. Included is two screen captures first/Photoshop installation initialization of the error message as well as Adobe Support Advisor of the results window.

My mac crashes during the installation of the cs6. I have to turn off the mac. Now, I can't reinstall or uninstall cs6. He said the Installer failed to initialize.
If you have not yet installed any Adobe application, try step below and check.
Step 1
(1) right-click on the icon in the Finder, then select 'Go - To' folder.
(2) you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '. ( "Don't miss ~ symbol" )~/Library
It will open the folder of the user's library.
(3) then navigate to Application Support > Adobe.
Open the Adobe folder and rename the OOBE, OOBE old and AAMUpdater to old AAMUpdater.
Step 2
(1) right-click on the icon in the Finder, then select 'Go - To' folder.
(2) you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return './ Library
It will open the folder System Library.
(3) then navigate to Application Support > Adobe.
Open the Adobe folder and rename the folder Caps Caps-old and young OOBE to centenarians, OOBE Adobe Application Manager of Adobe Application Manager.
Step 3)
Basket of Adobe Application Manager of Applications > utilities.
Step 4) [same step again]
Click on the link below and download Adobe Application Manager and install the same:

Once installation is complete, niche is going disappear, and then open the Application folder and locate the icon to launch Adobe Application manager, double-click it and update.
Once the update is complete.
