Adobe Stock - bad Information on cancellation fees

I use stock for about a year, and download sometimes this and this for a price of one-time, which I think worked very well. Now all of a sudden am I being charged every month for a subscription, and I really have no idea how it got to this point. But alas, I can admit that I can have made a mistake along the line and do not read the text printed fine which I probably would have. So I tried to cancel the subscription, but tells me that I have to pay $150 in cancellation fees? Are you kidding me?


If you want to tell me that a company highly regarded as Adobe has set me up in a subscription plan where I pay $150 to get out of? It is not acceptable at all. And on top of that, I don't have access to any form of communication (Chat button is dead) to adobe, other than the (tough phone since I live in Norway) and what is underlined here on several other topics.

Cancel my subscription for shares. This is outrageous and customer hostility at worse. Shame on you. This is not correct.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but appreciate your honest feedback.

Don't forget to use the remaining image credits until your subscription is cancelled entirely at the end of your billing month (September 21).

    CANCELLATION FEES OF $149?

    My mistake... I should have read the terms of service more closely. Then I would never have signed up for Adobe stock first place. I had a monthly account with Dollar Stock Photo, but since this service migrated to Adobe, I decided to sign up for the free 1-month trial. I forgot to cancel after the first month, but that was fine because I need multiple images for a project anyway. But then I start the cancellation process, since I will not need more images for a few months. As soon as I hit the Cancel button, I suddenly noticed the message of 'cost of cancellation '. Too late. I am struck with a price of $149.

    I was planning on joining at a later date, when I need more images. But not now...

    But again, it is my fault for not reading details. I tried to get a refund, but was rejected. I use Adobe products for over 10 years from CS2, but it's ridiculous and very bad Adobe service. I would never treat customers like this in my own business, and in the future I will only use istock and shutterstock for my image needs.

    Congratulations on this $149 you just me, Adobe. I made a mistake and you made me pay for it.

    Hey - I bought shares of adobe as a client Adobe CC offer in September. I contacted Adobe to cancel the share subscription 2 months later - I wasn't aware that after the expiry of the 30 day trial I would be transferred to a 12 month contract. I was told that I have to cancel my membership Adobe CC in order to cancel the Stock, I did. I didn't renew it. However, I got 4 credits remaining image. I just tried to use them today, but they have disappeared - I don't think this is fair, since I had paid for them?

  • Adobe CC auto-renewal, cancellation fees and membership increase?

    I have subscribed to the accession of edition student creative cloud in July and was annoyed to find looking at my accounts for the last two months, I had to pay £ 21,91 for software that I have not used since July this year. When I took the subscription I was under the impression that membership was only for a year and that I would need to pay a £15.49 monthly fee. No where have I learned that the contract will be automatically renewed at the end of the year and that taxes would rise. I was disgusted therefore find the amount that fate of my account, let alone do not receive an email before the end of the annual membership fee to let me know that membership would automatically be renewed and that my fees would increase, but also the fact that when I cancelled my contract today that I should commit a penalty charge of £109.00 which is a scandalous 50% of the annual fee for apparently leaving a contract that I wasn't even not aware that I had!

    I had at the beginning of the contract for my final year at the University of Birmingham City and it was great, but after graduating in June, I was expecting just the contract ends in July, or at least receive a talking e-mail auto-renewal.

    I contacted a member of the customer service team today and they did not help the least of all, they did however try and offer me another membership! I looked around and finally found a lot of people who have had the same problem when it comes to penalty of cancellation fees and how it is difficult to leave their membership.

    I am so disappointed and angry about this, that I intend to let my University and social media know the TRUE nature of accessions from Adobe and what I discovered on the difficulty, is to cancel your membership, your membership renew automatically and never be contacted on charges increase and renewal and automatic stop membership penalty. It could just open peoples eyes like lock of the Adobe people in contracts and do not have the intention to treat your respect by keeping informed you, but rather of you surprised by the increase of taxes and fees in your bank statement!

    It would be good to know if anyone else has had these problems.

  • How can I cancel my subscription to Adobe Stock?

    I would like to express that I got free trial of a month on Adobe Stock with 10 free images.  The Adobe device has indicated that I can cancel at any time before the month was out and I would not result in any charges.  The month ends at the time of 75 minutes and I'm unable to cancel that phone support will end at 17:00 and I can't find any way to inform the Customer Service that I have been informed by the Adobe Web site. When I asked before entering I was not advised that I had to cancel the last day of my free month before 17:00.

    I trust a moderator Adobe will address this issue and ensure that any amount of money from my account, if any, are returned to me immediately.  Thank you in advance.

  • Adobe Stock marketing, support and practical cancellation unpleasant and misleading

    Practical marketing of Adobe Stock are misleading.  I participate in a class action against Adobe and contribute to the financing of the judicial proceedings against them.  They have the promo 'get 10 free images' misleading that they ran in all directions, and they have buried deep in the EULA cancellation fees.   They do cancel extremely difficult.  In addition, they summer hit my credit card for the fees, even if I cancelled and worked out much taxes as original as possible.   These deceptive marketing tactics are brutal and need to get more publicity.  Their wicked practices poison relations still further to the end user.

  • Cannot cancel Adobe Stock?

    I signed up for the trial of Adobe Stock and uploaded a few photos. In the meantime, I've been incredibly busy with work and family issues. I forgot the trial and began to get it charged (and have had four months now). 'No problem', I thought. "I will simply cancel the membership now that I had time to deal with him." When I go to to cancel, I am obliged to contact support on this subject. Odd. I'm now being told I can't cancel, and if I want to, there is a cancellation fees of $131. WHAT! I had to pay $ 33 per month for four months, only uploaded a few photos and I can't cancel the membership? What about Adobe? A quick search shows tons of people having the same problem. Paid for cloud creative since it was first announced and bought all versions of Creative Suite since CS2.

  • Adobe Stock 'Free' trial refused to cancel

    I added the trial version free Adobe Stock to my subscription of the CC and used about 6 of 10 free photos. I went to cancel within 30 days to find that my account had already been loaded on the 29th day renewal period? Tried to chat to solve, the guy told me that my subscription had several months (CC MY account has been, no STOCK).  There is no help, because they would not pay the renewal or cancel the subscription without 'start' fresh termination $159! What gives? After researching I found free trial Adobe Stock SCAM with a few others who have signed up for the trial period and tried to cancel.  I am not happy and certainly suspicious of all future subscription. I just want to cancel the Add on stock! Any other suggestions that taking to Twitter? Someone had problems with subscription cancellation?

    Your subscription of Stock began on 23 March, renewed on 23 April.  It seems that this charge had already dealt when you contacted support & have been notified of the early termination fee.

    I'll need to Stock subscription must be cancelled without fees.

    The system calculates automatically the cancellation after 14 days according to the standard subscription terms.

    However, with the Stock promotion cancellation fees will be not processed if cancellation is made within the first month.

    I got bills 425 SEK. The only thing that I could find on the invoice which gave me the information was as follows: PPSK, ALL, MLP, ERR01, DRIVEN, 001, s. o. given some research here on the forums, I came to the conclusion that this text refers to Adobe Stock.


    So I ask you to do is to cancel my subscription to Adobe Stock.

    I signed up for the free trial of adobe stock on 11 August, because the premise of 10 free pictures and be able to cancel within the first month of good looks.     Like many other people on this forum before me, I was sucked into the trap that a register for an Adobe Stock of the trial. At the time when I needed it, I signed to see if it can be applicable to a project I was working on. He was not, and I forgot it. Fast forward to today, and I am locked with a HUGE cancellation fee.

    Yes, of course I should have read the 'fine print' - but having to pay for the year to cancel? I really thought that Adobe was a company with better values. I am a student living check to check every month and having to continue to pay more for this subscription is a terrible financial burden. I guess that Adobe does not fear to put students into debt even more.

    It is exasperating to talk to a service via chat agent. Don't even bother. You'll end up with the same offer, they give you if you try to cancel yourself, free to stay a few months and a massive headache. It's really only postpone the burden.

    The offer stipulates that your first month will be refunded when you sign up for a year Adobe Stock (10 images/month) and you can cancel the risk free in the first month.  Before entering you must agree to the terms and conditions that stipulate that if you cancel after the period of the offer, you will be charged 50 percent of your remaining contract obligation.
