CANCELLATION FEES

CANCELLATION FEES OF $149?

My mistake... I should have read the terms of service more closely. Then I would never have signed up for Adobe stock first place. I had a monthly account with Dollar Stock Photo, but since this service migrated to Adobe, I decided to sign up for the free 1-month trial. I forgot to cancel after the first month, but that was fine because I need multiple images for a project anyway. But then I start the cancellation process, since I will not need more images for a few months. As soon as I hit the Cancel button, I suddenly noticed the message of 'cost of cancellation '. Too late. I am struck with a price of $149.

I was planning on joining at a later date, when I need more images. But not now...

But again, it is my fault for not reading details. I tried to get a refund, but was rejected. I use Adobe products for over 10 years from CS2, but it's ridiculous and very bad Adobe service. I would never treat customers like this in my own business, and in the future I will only use istock and shutterstock for my image needs.

Congratulations on this $149 you just me, Adobe. I made a mistake and you made me pay for it.

  • Adobe CC auto-renewal, cancellation fees and membership increase?

I have subscribed to the accession of edition student creative cloud in July and was annoyed to find looking at my accounts for the last two months, I had to pay £ 21,91 for software that I have not used since July this year. When I took the subscription I was under the impression that membership was only for a year and that I would need to pay a £15.49 monthly fee. No where have I learned that the contract will be automatically renewed at the end of the year and that taxes would rise. I was disgusted therefore find the amount that fate of my account, let alone do not receive an email before the end of the annual membership fee to let me know that membership would automatically be renewed and that my fees would increase, but also the fact that when I cancelled my contract today that I should commit a penalty charge of £109.00 which is a scandalous 50% of the annual fee for apparently leaving a contract that I wasn't even not aware that I had!

I had at the beginning of the contract for my final year at the University of Birmingham City and it was great, but after graduating in June, I was expecting just the contract ends in July, or at least receive a talking e-mail auto-renewal.

I contacted a member of the customer service team today and they did not help the least of all, they did however try and offer me another membership! I looked around and finally found a lot of people who have had the same problem when it comes to penalty of cancellation fees and how it is difficult to leave their membership.

I am so disappointed and angry about this, that I intend to let my University and social media know the TRUE nature of accessions from Adobe and what I discovered on the difficulty, is to cancel your membership, your membership renew automatically and never be contacted on charges increase and renewal and automatic stop membership penalty. It could just open peoples eyes like lock of the Adobe people in contracts and do not have the intention to treat your respect by keeping informed you, but rather of you surprised by the increase of taxes and fees in your bank statement!

It would be good to know if anyone else has had these problems.

  • Adobe Stock - bad Information on cancellation fees

    Hello

I use stock for about a year, and download sometimes this and this for a price of one-time, which I think worked very well. Now all of a sudden am I being charged every month for a subscription, and I really have no idea how it got to this point. But alas, I can admit that I can have made a mistake along the line and do not read the text printed fine which I probably would have. So I tried to cancel the subscription, but tells me that I have to pay $150 in cancellation fees? Are you kidding me?

If you want to tell me that a company highly regarded as Adobe has set me up in a subscription plan where I pay $150 to get out of? It is not acceptable at all. And on top of that, I don't have access to any form of communication (Chat button is dead) to adobe, other than the (tough phone since I live in Norway) and what is underlined here on several other topics.

Cancel my subscription for shares. This is outrageous and customer hostility at worse. Shame on you. This is not correct.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but appreciate your honest feedback.

Don't forget to use the remaining image credits until your subscription is cancelled entirely at the end of your billing month (September 21).

    Kind regards

  • What kind of horrible company forces a user to call to cancel and then pretended like it was normal cancellation fees for a term of contract they have unilaterally renewed "automatically"?

What kind of horrible company forces a user to call to cancel and then pretended like it was normal cancellation fees for a term of contract they have unilaterally renewed "automatically"?

    Hi Matthew.

I thought that it might help to clarify the difference in price for creatively Cloud and payment plans.

The annual plan is reduced because you perform a validation for an entire year, even if you make monthly payments. Because you get a cheaper than the monthly plan price, there is a penalty of cancellation at the beginning. (It works similar to many cell phone plans where you can have any commit and a monthly fee higher or longer validation and a lower rate)

The terms can be found here: Adobe - General conditions of subscription

The monthly plan costs a little more, but can be canceled at any month. Subscriptions renew each month/year depending on the plan until they are cancelled.

  • When should I cancel my 1 year subscription to avoid paying a new period of 12 months or pay the cancellation fees too early?

    Hello

So my question is: When should I terminate my subscription to avoid charges of cancellation earlier than or worse still, the subscription auto - renews. And also, how do I cancel my subscription?

    Kind regards

  • Cancellation fees and self-renewal.

After dealing with Customer Service Adobe for 3 days now, I'm more frustrated and angry.

I was encouraged to start a membership creative cloud by my teacher at my college. The student membership is an excellent tool to allow these expensive to use temporarily at a lower price products. It was in October 2013. I used CC through my academic career, after the first year, the price has increased to $19.99 per month at $29.99 per month. I received a notification that would happen, but I had been a customer for a year, I chose to let the prices go. I continued to use the service, until I finally got this month, Dec 2014. Now, I did not need CC, and I don't have a lot of money, or a full time job, so I decided I want to cancel my account.

During registration, I was under the impression that membership was, like most of the leases, 1 year student subscription, with a fee for early cancellation, then a month after the first year. This seems like the perfect plan.

However, when I chose to cancel my subscription after 14 months, I was told that I have to pay $130 for the cancellation. The plan was not month to month than I expected, Adobe has Auto-renouvelé without my permission or notification.

Day before yesterday, the customer service person told me that he couldn't give up the cancellation fee, but it could demote me to the plane of the photograph which is $ 9.99 per month (instead of my $29.99 per month). Not knowing what else to do at that time I said yes.

I looked through my notification/confirmation email that the customer service agent Adobe told me that they sent, and he had nothing. At no time around my mark of one year in October received no communication that my subscription needed me to renew it or it is automatically renewed. There was nothing.

I also found this forum on the Adobe website, with many echoing the same chain of events that I'm through now. Adobe does not send these "end subscription" or "auto-renewal" notification emails, but they trap you in another subscription of the year without any communication to the customer.

When I called the customer service today to share it seems to be a model with many customers being caught in the trap in a subscription to creative cloud that they don't want or can't afford, I was finally he had to cancel without fees, they would not pay for the plan of photography that I spoke in la that I was charged for today.

It is a terrible business practice. Adobe clearly has a lot of great products, Creative cloud being one of them. There is no need to link customers with subscription auto renewed that prevent them from leaving. When I had planned to cancel my subscription, I'm at a point where I need the service once again and could afford it, I would be a re - subscribe to creative cloud. Now, I don't think that I will never agree in a contract concluded on an Adobe product. If this is how customers are treated, why I would enter into this again. I have someone to register for creative cloud, would have favored because the product is great. Now, as a graduate Art and Design, I intend to spread the word to my alma mater and my friends in the art and design community that the subscription process and the contract are a nightmare.

Adobe didn't need to trap customers in auto renewal of subscriptions! When I called to cancel, if you had told me "Im sorry that you wish to cancel, we're sorry you see go and hope that you come back ', I'd be much more open to remain a customer of Adobe Creative Cloud. I really hope Adobe to change its membership policy, making it easy for customers to use the subscription as they wish. Until then, Im afraid I made using Adobe products.

$ 27.99 has been credited to the card VISA ending with XX50, please check with the Bank associated with this account, let me know in case of any problem.

  • Cancellation fees of creative cloud

    Hello

Just, I cancelled my subscription Creative Photoshop Cloud and was SHOCKED at the $ 55 million tax, that I was charged, especially given that I am a student.

  • Misleading marketing and £119 cancellation fees!

I'm not a designer and don't have any products other than the Adobe Reader. Only, I wanted a picture for a small project and thought it would be a jpeg file. I signed and was disappointed that I could not even use the image I downloaded due to the format. Now I banged even more when I try to cancel that there is a cancellation fee early £119. My understanding was there is a monthly fee and I could cancel. I had no idea there is a gain of cancellation for the year and that it would be so high. I feel like Adobe taking advantage of me. I've only connected to the service ONCE and have no need for this. The subscription has erred. This whole situation leaves me with a very negative feeling towards Adobe!

After an hour in the chat room with customer service, I got the removal of tax cancellation. It was a big mistake, but I'm happy that Adobe made my situation and he did the right thing.

  • I want to change my plan photography & after effect the all Apps student, how do I do without paying cancellation fees?

I bought the plan of photography and After Effects, without realizing that, as a student, I could get the plan of the student. I wish I could spend plans, but when I try to cancel my plans of course asked me to pay the cancellation fee. I am wary to do if I'll just come back and use the programs, with another plan that offers access to more applications. I would pay the same amount for the plan of the student I pay now for my current plan, so is there a way to circumvent the problem of cancellation charges and simply exchange plans?

  • No warning of renewal and 50% cancellation fees!

I just noticed that I was charged $20 / month for 4 months for the subscription of InDesign. I paid a low price for a subscription of one year in 2014. I never received notification that I would be charged $240 for a one year subscription. I don't even use the product! The customer support is said now that I can't cancel unless I pay 50% of another 8 months. The representative of the customer service just kept saying that I should have received an email, and I should have cancelled when I received it. If I do not receive it, how can I know that I am in charge! It's very convenient misleading Adobe. I am ashamed to be your customer!

I'm sorry that the automatic renewal and the price was not clear. The launch price is for the first year, and they automatically renewed at regular price if is not canceled.

  • Need to be reimbursed for $109.95 cancellation fees and monthly fees of $19.99

I started my contract September 2014, I cancelled on October 1, 2015. I had to communicate with Adobe 4 times now and have been informed I would be refunded my charge and my case should be wound. I was told I would receive an email 24-48 hours after contact with Adobe, and I have still yet to receive one of these emails. Each time, I have ALSO told me that my refund would happen in 5-7 working days, that has not happened. Whenever I tell the situation, the representative is not any note of my cancellation refund fee. It is absolutely absurd. THEN on top of that, I was charged $ 19.99 monthly subscription the 16th of this month. I am beyond frustrated and said that I can't speak to a supervisor. I spoke with a Manager and she said exactly the same thing as the representative. I have all the documented transcripts of previous conversations and think to submit to my Bank. Anyone have any useful suggestions? Would be really grateful, thank you!
