  I looked at this file and at the time I started to get into trouble.  It was enormous... I have moved out of the directory and tried to re-sync.  It worked!

  OK, so I went and re - sync my player the other day.  Since then, when I turn it on, it starts to update the database, and then the screen goes crazy.  Nothing but colored lines.  I can stop, but it will do so when turned on.  I tried to boot from the recovery partition, and put the latest firmware files, it seemed to load, then again became 'crazy' at startup.  It will also do so if I connect to my PC and will not be detected...

  Any help would be appreciated.

  First, just for him heck of it, try to take out the battery (don't lose the screws bit) for a minute or two. It can reset.

  The problem is probably a file that has been bad or has been corrupted by mysterious Sansa bugs. If you are able to connect to the computer in MSC mode, you can run ChkDsk to zap the wrong file.

  If not, you will probably have to format and, unfortunately, lose all the music/video/pictures on it. Create a new empty folder on your desktop called sansa.fmt, go into the recovery partition and drag the sansa.fmt in there. Do not FORMAT THE PARTITION RECOVERY VIA WINDOWS - YOU're going to DESTROY VITAL FILES. When you disconnect, the Sansa will set up. Recharge a few albums at a time. Your most recent file was probably the one that crashed it.

  If it was the fault of a file that you added - and personally and not scientific, I don't think that it's always - you should look at the tags of your files and use a good tagging program, mp3tag. More information on ID3 tags here.

  Look for third-party codecs installed and anything in playlists, especially things that a) doesn't exist more or b) are on the disks in network, as the likely sources of this delay. • crash of Windows media player

  My windows media player just crashed. At the beginning I could not simply open a track, then all the tracks, and now does not open the whole wmp.

  I get an error C00D11B1; but the web help microsoft is pretty useless. It doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my sound card.

  I downloaded itunes, and although the song files were all transported to itunes, no song files can be played. Otherwise said, itunes knows the song length, title etc, but is not able to actually play the track.

  Basically, none of my wma files can be opened/played, and apparently, they can be converted to other formats as well.

  I am running windows vista. Any ideas?

  Consider reinstalling the Codecs necessary for files other default settings in windows so. You can do a search in your favorite sources recommended codec engine, we do however not all formats not included with Vista or on codecs.microsoft.com. Let us know if we can help you.

• Don't crash problems, no media player and Internet explorer not good.

  2. Internet Explorer does not work, does not show in 'Programs' and yet when I try to install IE9, it tells me that it is already being installed. This six weeks now.

  Please try running SOUL while now Alt + Ctrl + Shift for Windows or Alt + CMD + Shift for Mac.  This resets the preferences settings and can help.

  I have a weird problem. I was working on my Flex 3 project on my local machine (iMac, Leopard, MAMP) and everything worked well. I changed a few words in a string, and when I ran my project the old words were still there. So, I emptied the cache browser (Firefox) and it ran again. But now it stops a quarter turn in the initialization and just hangs. I don't know what I did--or what happened. A second, that everything is fine and the other it will not load.
