Registry patches are false and I advise anyone using these cleansers to stay away from them.

Have you had the chance to do a safe mode virus scan?

Try ESET (http://www.eset.com/online-scanner) or a virus scan online Kaspersky (http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner).

Download Malwarebytes anti-malware and scan your computer (from safe mode with network that is):

Looks like your monitor is having problems sync-ing for the resolution settings that you have defined for your monitor.  When you get your screen is displayed, right-click on an empty area of your desktop-> properties-> (tab) settings.

Then, in the 'Screen Resolution' area, try to move the cursor to the end of 'Less' and click 'apply '.  It will then try to change to this new resolution.  If your screen is empty for now, just wait about 30 seconds and it will return to the previous resolution (which can mean that you need to power cycle your monitor you have done to get it back)-otherwise accept the settings if your display looks OK.  Try to find a solution that works with your monitor.  It is also possible that your monitor is going bad.

  • Screen goes gray with lines

My Dell Inspiron 3520 screen goes gray with horizontal lines during use. This reminds me of an old television set, except the lines do not scroll. Everything started after I upgraded from 8 to 8.1. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thank you

I agree with the upgrade to windows 8.1 as the origin of the problem. If you check the video card, you will see that it is a 3000 graphics card intel. You will see that the upgrade has changed the driver to one for January 2014. I did a back roll of this driver. On my machine, she restored a driver with date of September 2013. After that the computer was OK all night so I think it solved the problem. Appears there is something wrong with the driver that is loaded with 8.1.

    Hello

This problem may be due to one of the following problems:

    • You are using an outdated or corrupted video driver
    • System files on your PC can be damaged or do not correspond with other files
    • You may have an infection of viruses or malware on your PC
    • Some applications or services that are running on your computer may be responsible for Windows Explorer to stop working

    Try the following steps:

    Method 1:

Try the steps of error: Windows Explorer has stopped working

Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

Important: the data available on bad sectors may be lost when chkdsk attempts to repair your hard drive.

    Note:

Ignore them perform a upgrade in Place the link above.

Also ignore the safe mode and clean boot.

    Method 2:

We will try to start the computer in mode low resolution and check the status of the issue.

Low resolution starts Windows using your current video driver, and using the parameters of frequency low resolution and refresh. You can use this mode to reset your display settings.

    Refer to the section:

Turn on the video resolution (640 × 480)

You can also check: why is my screen black when I start Windows 7?

  • H8 - 1330 PC with NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 after windows log in the black window with the cursor of the mouse only has

    Hello

PC is a h8 - 1330's, and the graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 with driver version 9.18.13.270 dated 29/08/13. connected to a TV through an HDMI cable samsung. It is running windows OS 8.1.

I installed 1 conc TV tuner card but otherwise the system is HP standard configuration as it was shipped.

I think that I had a disorder with the pc update as I turned it on and after reaching the windows log on screen and pc connection seems automatic Windows boot in windows and I see only a black screen with the mouse cursor. I can ctrl + alt + delete and check out the Task Manager, but not other windows will appear. I tried to change username, sign in with a different account and get the same question.

I'm fighting to enter the safe mode or any other mode at startup to the top to see if I can roll back the video driver.

I tried pressing ESC then f11 to make a restore without success.

I can't enter the mode without fail to start via shift + f11 or f11.

My father has the same PC and does not see this issue.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of things I can try?

hoping to try a software patch before trying the different video cards/monitors to isolate the problem.

    see you soon,

    Andrew

Thank you for the additional information.

Try this to see if it helps:

To restore your PC to an earlier point in time
    1. Enter in the right edge of the screen and then click on search.
(If you use a mouse, point to the upper right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then click Find.)

    2. Enter the control panel in the start search box and press or click on Control Panel.

    3. Enter the collection in the control panel search box, and then tap or click recovery.

    4. Press or click Open System Restore, and then follow the instructions.

Follow these instructions carefully to see if they will help you.

  • How to clean a laptop HP DV8 fans, screen goes black with overheating?

Black goes screen occur when heat from the CPU reaches 100 degrees, which is 20 to 50% overall CPU activity, for example to watch video on a brower, whatever safe or normal mode you start. . Since blackscreen started 4 months after I bought the dv8, I prefer not not the material had failed and would rather follow the instructions and clean the fans finally dusty.

But I could not open the laptop, even after the removal of every screw, does anyone know how to open these laptops?

    # A once that the user disappointed had finally, after 157 overheating closures
    # DV8 1050es W7x64 HP I7 Q720 Let's believe computers are simple

It seems that the solution is about to decommission the flashplayer from adobe in order to avoid an overheating so blackscreen.

    The numbers go like this:

current version of flash is 10.1.85.3, use 15% + _50% non-stop CPU reaches temperatures 100 degrees, which is bad

old version 10.0.12.36 uses 7% 15th % nonstop CPU 95 degrees, what is the best

Remember triggers of 100 degrees blackscreen, the screen is off, it is always possible to turn off the computer with the appropriate key combination. If you do not maintain the temperature rise then shut down the system, the protection feature of blocking screen is unnecessary because CPU continues to operate at the same speed in this case, the same occurs also in mode without GPU.

That's pretty good work, but I m sure low enough the downgrade, the temperature is low.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
