AOE age of Kings the entire screen turns and shows the signs of AOE, but then she's just completely fails

Hello, I had a problem and I know I'm lightyears end 2 post but AoE is like my favorite series and I finally got my old fav of kings gold edition version, but it does not work on my windows 7 home edition. Of course, it installs fine. But when I want to play 2 whole screen turns and shows the AOE sign, but then it just completely fails after that so if someone can help me u can give me advice on how to fix 2

I downloaded the demo version of AoE II and it works without problems with the following parameters: 'compatibility mode', the value Windows 98 / ME (XP will not work), "run as administrator" and (perhaps not necessary) adjust your firewall settings to allow this program run on private networks. As always, do not install older programs in folders protected system (C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x 86)), choose a different folder target installation instead.

    Hi Omarreyes,

You can copy the contents of the game on the game CD on a removable media such as flash media, and then try to install the game.

You can also use another external CD/DVD drive to install and play the game from the CD.
If the problem persists, I suggest you to contact direct support for Windows games in the context of this question. You can check the link:

  • I have age of empires 3 and I can not start the program.

    Hello

I have age of empires 3 and I can not start the program.
The program is installed, but once the autorun.exe appears (with the icons of the game, uninstall, website, out) I click on play and the game does not just start. My computing needs are fairly good for the game because I used to play the game on the same computer later.

Bink is what plays the scenes cut in many games.

Installation folder of AOE 3 the binkw32.dll should be in games.
If it is then it is may be damaged and reinstall the game normally would set the
    problem.

AutoPatcher.exe - I do not know because I never use auto-patchers with games.
I have always to download the patch and install manually.
However, my game has the RockallDLL.dll file.

I don't really know a good site to lead you to these files.
You can find a binkw32.dll in another game. Try doing a search of
Program Files (x 86) (or another location if you install games to the default locations). If you have the file in another game you can copy into your AOE3
    folder of the master installation.

There was a lot of discussion on these forums about AOE3 so a
search of these forums may find another suggestion.
You can also try the specific AOE3 forums-

    1. computer does not start after the Windows XP logo window
2 works well in safe mode, even connect to the external monitor
    3. I reinstalled xp many times, problem stil exist.

    All the answers?

    Hi dhanushm,

    1. What happens after the Windows logo screen?
    2. You receive an error message?
    3. You have security software installed on the computer?
    4. Have you performed an installation clean Windows XP and even after that this problem exists?

    Method 1

As the computer starts up fine in safe mode there is a possibility that some third-party programs installed on the computer is the origin of the problem.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Reset the computer to start as usual

The System Configuration utility dialog box appears.
    3. Click the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services , and then click OK.
    4. When you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

    Method 2

If fails it above step can refer to the article below and try the steps mentioned, check if it helps.

  • XP Home Edition does not start without the installation CD after reinstall.

I reinstalled XP Home Edition on my PC without formatting the drive first in order to keep all of my data.  I have installed all service packs.  However, for some reason, I had to call Microsoft to get validated.  The only problem I have now is that it does not start without the installation CD in the drive.  I have XP on the half before the C drive and me on the back of half.  The reader is a digital WD800JBRTL of Western.  Well it worked like that for years. Why can I now not start without the CD?

    HiNeal2660,

It seems that the NTLDR file is not on the C: drive. NTLDR is the boot loader for all versions of Windows.

You can perform a Windows XP repair installation & check if you are able to start normally.

For more information, please visit this link: perform a repair Installation

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

  • surcurity essentials does not start, and the windows firewall does not illuminate

    Hello

I have a problem, he seems to have had a virus on my pc. Essentials of security does not illuminate and the windows firewall will not also turn on, I tried to use the tool to "fix" windows and it doesn't solve the problem.

the original virus seemed to rename its self as a program existing and renamed the oringinal by a space in the name, for example "adobearm.exe" became "adobearm .exe" there is a space before the dot.

The virus called his free adobearm.exe icon because it is a yellow / orange with a letter H, at the Center

different file name her seemed to be part of the virus included "ag7yl5x8.exe".

If you tried to close them in the task manager that they just either came back or a different file name would appear in the list.

I also couldn't do a windows update, but I think as the tool to 'fix' as cured this problem.

    Can someone help me please.

    Thank you

    Hi Sissi77350,

    · What is the model number of the computer?

You must have the Windows XP CD to perform one of the steps to start the computer.

See the links below: error message: "Windows did not start because of a configuration of the disk of the computer problem": http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314477

  • My copy registered and checked for XP Pro SP3 does not start after changing the motherboard. Second problem is that I can't find my original install of XP Pro disc.

After failing to find the source of reliable performance from my PC, I decided to bite the bullet and replace the motherboard, memory and the CPU. I installed a triple base 435 Athlon and a motherboard Gigabyte MA74GMT. Awarded PC again started the first time - but Windows will not, I get a number of options but none work - safe mode brings up several lines of messages on the partition of multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0).

A previous post suggested that a similar message meant some kind of malware but if I replace the old motherboard, processor and memory Windows works very well - in fact I use it now.

Do I have an option but to reinstall Windows from a CD? Otherwise I have a problem - I can't find the installation discs for each piece of software except my Windows XP Pro! I do repair discs?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi DaGeLi,

    · Provide us with the complete message you receive.

    Follow the methods below:

    Method 1:

You were able to start the first time, you can try to boot to the last known good configuration and check the results. Link to get the procedure please refer to: how to start your computer by using last good known Windows XP Configuration:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307852

    Method 2:

If it doesn't then you can follow the procedure from the below mentioned link. As you do not have the Windows XP CD you can follow the procedure if you have already installed on the computer to recovery console

How do I recover from a corrupted registry that prevents Windows XP startup:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545

Otherwise, you may need to make the boot floppies. See the link for the procedure below:

You can also contact the manufacturer of the system to get the Windows XP CD.
