  In the MouseUp event of the checkbox, do something like:

  If (event.target.value! == 'Off') {}

  App.Alert ("Hello", 1);

  }

  There is no way to include a hyperlink in an app.alert, but you can configure an app.alert have Yes, no, Cancel buttons. If you ask the user the question: "Would you like to go here," they might click on Yes and then you could run a statement that implements the hypertext link.

  You can also be more flexible if you use a custom dialog box that includes a button that implements the hyperlink, as demonstrated in the second example page two here: http://www.windjack.com/resources/Examples/DialogUses.pdf

  I need to create an alert based on whether a data fields exist in the database when the user types the text in the text field. Has anyone ever created a warning message if the value you entered already exists in the database. I see examples of Javascript to invite the user to what data has been entered or make a property based on a value = "80" or a value. But I need each controlled property.

  I can check any specific value if its code harded, but, I need to check each value if the user types in the text box and then tabs out of the field and if this value exists in the database, then the alert message appears and allows the user to know this value exists in the database. I can't hardcode in hundreds of values based on the above example. I hope someone can help me with this issue, thanks.

• How can I control the external javascript dashboard symbols?

  I came across a dozen of similar threads, but most have introduced solutions that worked in previous versions of the edge and not more working time.

  I'm trying to use Edge to create animations that can be then incorporated into cutting-edge projects either. I would then be able to control the Edge chronology or symbols of edge of items outside of the edge, as another link or button in the page.

  I can't understand how to correctly reference the stage edge or symbols.

  I have met several solutions proposed for referencing edge scene, such as:

  It seems that you do not use the bootstrapCallback function, which is what you will need to get this working.  This thread from a few months (after 1.0 released) is still accurate.  He'll hope that you said in the right direction.

  I suspect that the unresolved symbol is ambient. What distribution, gcc c and c ++ runtime are installed? This symbol is contained in the libnpc.so shared object when I run nm on ASM which is supposed to load.

  I decided to check if it was a problem in my project of compilation of the simpftp example provided with labwindows CVI in the debug and release version, I get the same problem of undefined symbol:

  To check which package you have installed you can click Help-> on LabWindows/CVI. In the splashscreen, you can see in the lower right package you have. You can also check in Manager license OR (start-> National Instruments-> NI License Manager) which license is enabled.

  In case anyone else has this problem, I managed to solve it by (1) adding - m32 for INDICATORS in the Makefile and (2) by following these instructions:
