• Cisco 5300 MCU failed to register with the SIP registrar

  I have a new Cisco 5300 MCU I have just begain configuration initially.  Under settings, SIP, it says registered.  However, to the title of the Conference, I have set up, it is said the recording failed.  If I click on failure, under the statistical heading he says SIP Registrar ID, could not be saved.   You made sure check the box 'Allow digital ID Registration for conferences' on the settings > page on the MCU SIP?

  You can foind installed on endpoints, it is visible on a GUI on the system information page, section Installed options

  I have not installed xp mysrelf.

  This is normal.  System restore points are purged after 90 days.  System Restore also has a feature of space management of automatic restore point that purge older restore points to make room for the new, while allowing the user to recover from the recent destructive changes.  By default, up to a maximum of 12% of the disk hard is allocated for restore points, even if it must be manually reconfigured to 1 GB.

  In any case it is generally not a good idea to restore to a time more than a week or two ago, because too many events that are not controlled by the system restore will be arrived in the meantime.

  In addition, the restore points are chained together, so that you cannot save a former and delete the most recent.  This will break the whole system restore function and require you to serve all points and start over.

  Basic rule is that you want more than 25 clients per AP, but it really depends on the type of traffic.  For example, you don't want more than 7 calls active voice by both access point.  So it really depends on the type of traffic.

  In general, I would say if you can add another AP I would.  Also if these are dual AP radio that would also help.  I hope that customers would balance the load between the radios.

  I'm working on the deployment of dot1.x through our company. I'm stuck on configuring Cisco phones to go on one VLAN correct when the multi domain host-mode option is used. I tried on two C2960 switch with two different images. No matter what I do, the phone is going to area: DATA and unable to connect to the network as more likely, it is a wrong VLAN. Poster as authenticated port ISE and MAB works very well. When I set up stream host-mode, the phone Gets a VLAN correct and can top to the network.

  A customer has a lot of 9971 series and other video capable ip saved in CUCM phones which are obviously not the criteria of TC.

  How can I go to add to TMS? Are they added only as unmanaged endpoints?

  Is it possible that I can force the TMS or the conductor also to call them so that they can join a conference?

  We have some use VIP users who want to call rather than compose themselves at the Conference and they have no endpoint of TC.

  You probably don't have to add CUCM in TMS, unless you want to add any endpoints mentioned some of my first answer in TMS, although it wouldn't hurt to add it anyway.

  You can add IP phones as unmanaged endpoint points, although this will consume a TMS system for each license added.  If you have plenty of endpoints that you want to add and you do not have enough licenses, you can use a directory phone, as mentioned earlier, see the "Manage Sources of phonebook" on pg 187 for more details.  You can schedule video conferences using two methods, but Smart Scheduler is unable to add participating telephone directories, so the TMS advanced scheduler should be used if you add participants from telephone directories.

  What you do above in the TMS for the planning of endpoints has no impact on its PMF, you can add endpoints you want logged in as a favorite yourself in your TMS user portal.

• System restore lost my restore points and won't allow a new restore points

  I have Windows XP Home SP3. I did a clean install and have begun to repopulate some programs. I created a restore point at the beginning (as a point of reference).  After a day of installation of software, I discovered my original restore point was gone and tried to create a second restore point. I received a message that I could not create a restore point, until I restart Windows. I rebooted and got the same message. I've even turned off for a few minutes and got the same message. Restore functionality is enabled default 12% Windows memory allocated to restore to all readers.

  Never took off. I did a repair from the window of the original CD. It fixes the problem of the restoration of the system.

  The current Windows operating system is Windows 7. All new computers (except for netbooks that are yet to come with XP) will come with it. Most of the new computers will be able to do what you want without any problem. For the video-conference, consider buying a laptop with a built-in webcam. If you are looking for a desktop computer, make sure that any webcam that you buy is supported in Windows 7.
