2. What is the full and exact error message?

3. What is the serial number and model of the printer?

4. what operating system is installed on the computer?

    Hello theleeb,

When you go to the properties of the printer and you see that it says 192.168.1.5 that should be checked.

Just below there is a button to configure the port. What to choose.

The next window should ask what the name of the printer or the IP address is that you'll want to change this to match the IP address that we assigned to the printer. 192.168.1.250

The IP address of the printer should never change, but you can also tick the box that says print to this printer, even if IP address changes, just for a safety net.

  • The ATT Uverse technician had to install a new router it reconfigured my laptops and desktop, now they work. I have a wireless HP printer, it will print from the desktop, but not the laptop, the message indicates the printer offline. Help!

I need to know how to re acrivare my prinrer wireless, itr says he is offline

If the printer is accessible and works and that your computer can reach it via the network, then most likely the printer has been set to ' offline '.

This can happen when you try to print to the printer when it is not reachable and it accumulates mainly of your printing until it is put online, or it can be done manually by changing the mode.

To change the mode back to "online" you will need to open your printers folder and right click on your printer and select "use printer online".  You can also check your printer settings and make sure that the printer you want to use is the default printer (the default printer can also be defined by double-clicking the printer icon and choose "Set as default printer").

  • All-in-One B110a - HP constantly turns off printer - the printer offline message

Can someone help...? the printer seems to be off all the time - sometimes I get the error message-"printer offline" I have uninstalled and reinstalled and applied the "fix" by HP pffered, but it continues to happen.

Looks like you have a problem with the mode 'sleep'.  There are only a few things you can try when this happens.  First of all, make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.  If you have connected it to a surge protector or power stirp, he cannot get enough power to wake up.  The only other thing you can do is to ensure that the latest firmware is installed.  You can find the instructions below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02836005

If these things do not help, I contact HP and see if the printer is still under warranty.  If this is the case, HP should replace for this issue.  You will find the contact information below.

I have a desktop HP Pavilion with Windows 8 and a HP Officejet 4500 printer. I get a "printer offline" message when I try to print - even when the printer is turned on and connected to the radio. I would that disable you the program Avast and re try printing. Check out the helpful video I found below on YouTube.com:

  • power officejetPro 8500 to always clean the print heads

    Hello!

I have an OfficeJet Pro 8500.  I got it specifically so that I would get a large number of pages are printed on the extra large ink cartridges.

However, when I turn off the printer for the night save energy, and then turn it back on the next day morning, the printer goes through a status of "Please wait" in which she appears to clean the print heads at least twice.

And we both know that the print head cleaning consumes a lot of ink.

I have no problem printing.  The printer prints very well.

But, when I look at the ink levels using the solution Center HP, ink fell considerably after this start procedure.

Why?  Why he cleans the head whenever I turn on the printer?   He didn't need it!

    Thank you!

    Computer help

    Hi Jim,.

It's a very good question. When the printer returns to the top, it goes through a maintenance routine to ensure there are no clogged nozzles and all colors are able to print the result of quality.

I have actually never turn off my printers at night in my home office because they don't really use a lot of power (I don't have the exact specification). I would say just to leave the printer on... is not worth saving.

    See you soon,.

  • Printer stopped network scanning but always of the prints...

I'm not technical.  I scanned the number of items in my all-in-one Photosmart HP 7520 All in one printer, but lately, I get an error that the device is not found.  I can still print but not scan.  I enclose a link to a print screen with 2 different settings in devices and printers, nor work.  I changed it to series Fax HP Photosmart 7520 (network) for HP Photosmart 7520 series (network) because it did not work.  I don't understand how the router work, but I thought that if she recognized my printer it would execute either printing or scanning.  I do not have it has implemented for Fax so I thought it was strange that it was from its initial position.  If I look at my network sharing it shows HP-Print-72-Photosmart 7520 with a signal strength of 5 bars with connect automatically selected and the available connection button.

My printer is a HP Photosmart 7520 Premium C309g-m

I'm not sure that I have provided enough information for someone to help him, but I know almost nothing about network devices.

Have you tried to run the Wireless Setup Wizard again, and turn the printer back on the network. You will need the network name and the WEP key.

After he said successfully connected. Go devices and printers folder and do a right click and go to see what impression. Cancel all documents listed. Then right-click on the printer and remove the driver and the fax driver. After having been removed slot click on one of the other printers and look up for print server properties. Go to the driver tab and then remove the two 8500 drivers there as well.

After having been withdrawn. Go to menu start and all programs. Find the HP FOLDER and then click on the 8500 officjet software. Go to connect a new printer (maybe add a printer or the printer and the software) reinstall the wireless printer.
