API of Capture screen

Hi guys,.

Is there an API in the latest version of the native SDK screenshot?

Thank you

As stated previously, is not possible. That your application window. I wouldn't be surprised if, when you use this API you don't not even notice "glow" showing the screenshot, though as the user see on-screen. In other words, you are capturing your application * window *, not * display *.

  • Capture screen blackBerry Z10 image problem

Hello! I use BlackBerry Z10 for awhile and often use it to take notes and capture screenshots using the two volume keys. (top right of the phone).
Usually the screenshot is saved in the images of the individual screen tab. But since I did a cleanup of security in order to overcome the problems of the hanging, the image is recorded on the work tab of my phone and I couldn't share it on fb or WhatsApp. Can someone help me to put the images on the tab (screen) personal

  • DPS 2015 gesture API - vertical lock screen

    Hello!

I've been playing with the gesture of new API for items in html for the last days, and I was wondering if there is a way to lock the screen vertically. Even when calling disableNavigation(), the screen bouncing off slippery up - down (I'm incorporating striking up-down on any fly using hammer.js). Would be really useful for the implementation of some of the custom animations. Is there a way to get this behavior?

    Thank you!

    Lorenzo

Neil, I tried to rebuild the app (Yes, that's iOS) and in fact, there is no more bounce when disableNavigation is enabled. Not sure where the problem was. Marking as resolved.

  • Quick way to enter the scene to capture screen/framebuffer

Hey, I work in the video coding ANE - everything works fine on iOS, except a HUGE bottleneck.

Forfeitures 1 framework composed of MovieClips/layers etc is super slow, because the only way that I know that use BitmapData.draw, which traces of course everything including the effects etc., which is really slow for example on the iPad 3.

In my case, grabbing the frame ASAP is super important because I'm doing video encoding in real time. On the side of the DONKEY everything is optimized, using AVFoundation with pixel buffer pools etc but AIR he kills with the draw method.

When fooling around in DONKEY, I made a list of views that AERIAL use on iOS and saw that the entire application is running in view GL. Could AIR provide a method to capture view GL somehow? I tried hacking around it the donkey (glReadPixels, who I know is slow, but still does not work because the framebuffer is empty at the moment where Im calling it DONKEY). Theres also a way to fix the framebuffer texture I think and I have the content always ready, that would be great - I'm not sure I can bind this texture to the framebuffer to AIR well (this didn't not test yet, but seems unlikely).

I even managed to catch a screen of DONKEY, there is a new iOS7 method that can catch all UIViews, but this is unfortunately still slower than AIR.

+ I'm newb OpenGL. It would be cool if AIR took advantage of the race in the GL layer and provided a method to access the memory location with a texture/GL image that could be used as a capture of screen/film etc.

Answering myself, I managed to solve this problem after reading tons of tutorials and SO questions and answers

Basically, you need to create your own FBO backed texture inside the DONKEY. Inside the donkey, you have context of OpenGL in AIR which is a good start.

Whenever you want to capture pictures directly from AIR, you must intercept made air - you call the donkey on event ENTER_FRAME, bind your FBO backed texture. Let the rendered in AIR (fortunately AIR rebinding it is own FBO if you make an FBO at least once, I don't know why exactly). So AIR makes you happy in your FBO backed texture, next Frame you can only access data with glReadPixels or doing things even funkier if you must.

It is also possible to make this texture return to the screen to 'emulate' AIR made because you lose it for a while, during the capture. You must make a quad with this texture. It is also good to remember the ID FBO of AIR (until you link your own) and when done with capture liaison AIR FBO back so he can resume his normal rendering.

It is much faster to rely on BitmapData.draw and deliver pixels in your DONKEY in general, especially for me as I am also with texture caches so I don't even call glReadPixels which, in itself, is not the fastest method around...

  • Creation of the capture screen training videos?

    Hello people,

Is it possible to create interactive videos of a series of Screen Capture. I understand the preferred method is to use the Captivate to record a session, however, all my software to repeat is created in a virtual machine and install Captivate inside a virtual machine is not always practical.

In the past, when I was working with RWD uPerform, I captured the static screens using a tool really good/free called Gadwin screenshot. Once finished, I could add these screens in RWD, select clickable areas and RWD would do the rest by simulating clicks, queries, etc.

    Is this possible in Captivate?

So far, my experience with Captivate meant to do direct records, in a manner similar to Camtasia.

    Thank you.

    Hello

If you want to get a smaller footprint (read possibly portable or mobile) to Captivate version, please ask using the Wish form. Development of Adobe does not pay attention to these. If enough people ask for something or report a problem to some, it acquires a higher priority on the list of features or corrections.

  • On Vista, how used print screen to take a capture screen or pause a video or play?

I'm looking to perform a simple task here, and who takes always an or a screenshot of a video using the print screen key, for editing in PhotoShop CS3. But, I can't figure out where the nature/screenshot after having clicked on the button Prt Sc, or if I'm still hitting right (ex. Ctrl > Prt Sc or Fn > Prt Sc, or even simply Prt Sc). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

Print screen (Prt Sc) button will save an image in the Windows Clipboard.
You can paste the Image stored in any Image editing software.

for example: after hitting print screen, open MSPaint, now it click Edit and Paste. The image should be pasted into MSpaint.
You also do the same in CS3.

You can also use the shortcut 'ALT + PrintScreen' copy just the image of the window (not the entire screen) to the Clipboard.

    Try it.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.   It is supposed to come with a screenshot sniping tool.   Unfortunately, it is not in my system.  It is in the computer of my wife which has Windows 7 Home Premium.

The application is available from Microsoft to download & install.   Or is it on Windows 7 Installation floppies I have?

First of all, it should be here:

    Start-> all programs-> Accessories-> capture tool.

    If not do it please:

    1. open the Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer).

    2. navigate to the folder:

    C:\Windows\System32\

  • Capture screen synchronization problem

I made a screenshot using Captivate and when I bring it in my editing program to synchronize with the video of speakers, the total duration of the screenshot is disabled by a considerable margin.  The video (which has been started and stopped almost simultaneously with the screenshot) is much longer than the screenshot.

I fear that, in the screenshot, something has been verified not recorded in real time.  What is an option?  Thanks in advance!

  • Unable to save Mac screen captures to PDF more

I used to be able to save Apple screenshots on a Mac in PDF format. I even had an app which allow me to choose the output on the fly format and also I would rename the PDF file and the location to be saved. He worked for many years (or so it seemed). Recently, I had to go back to this workflow and in El captain, the PDF save screenshots option seems to be deleted. I can't find the app on the App Store. Research on new applications to get PDF save capacity only provides applications with outputs of Screen Capture image.

My workflow is that I generally capture screens (music) in PDF format, can combine unique screenshots in a PDF document and editorially mark upward. In general, I've used Acrobat Reader or even Acrobat Pro and occasionally, an excerpt. The team uses Acrobat and therefore the end result must be look great with annotations in Acrobat.

New savings Apple of the screenshots is now PNG and Acrobat do not like these and will not let me import them in PDF format. I don't want to go to a 3rd party app to convert png to PDF. That's happened? Where is the PDF option?  Is - this another example of animosity Adobe vs Apple?  I even upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud applications complete thinking that it would improve the material. Acrobat DC does not seem to do better.

I also want to move the workflow of digital edition for iPad and iOS.  It would be nice to have everything together, including the integration of iCloud or DropBox for Mac/iOS compatibility and collaboration group.

The iPad Pro and Apple pencil (with its ultra-fine tip) could do a great digital editing and the combination of editorial markup. This could be very exciting. However, because the group needs Acrobat for markup editorial, I think I still need screenshots of Acrobat PDF.

Help! The popular alternative solutions or apps. Thanks in advance.

PS - I tried to type this question into an iPad, and the police was white (so invisible). Wow.

    John

What version of Mac OS were you using that allowed the registration of the screenshots as something else? I just checked our oldest work Mac, a PowerMac G4 OS 10.4 'Tiger' running and, when the tiger was the most recent thing 11 years ago, it is by default in .png. Each OSX release since records in .png. It is not new on El Capitan.

Have you used a third party before capture app? Did you use a Terminal command to change the default format? This article shows how to use the Terminal to make the change in pdf format:

  • Broken screen capture hotkey

    Hi all

I have a 15 "MBPR El Capitan 10.11.1 running. Since switching to El Cap, capture screen keyboard shortcuts no longer work. When you press Command + Shift + 3 or + 4, nothing happens. No cap on the desktop image; No camera pinging. nothing! If I disable keyboard shortcuts in the keyboard preferences and try the same sequence of keyboard, I get the error 'thump' I'm using a sound signaling empty shortcut. If I re - activate the shortcuts on the screen, I'm back for nothing.

I understand the plist for the screenshots has been moved to the beginning with the Mavericks, but I can't locate any pref/plist file for screenshot of trash/troubleshooting. Ive rebooted several times and to do so not as magically lights up this function again. I have another Mac (a Mini) also runs 10.11.1 and this feature works very well there.

Advice on where other digging around for possibly troubleshoot? Thanks in advance for any help.

Im having the same problem, so I tried to open the clamp, from/applications/utilities, which is basically an enhanced version of screen capture and mine hangs on opening with errors.

Im going to try a clean install with a new download of El Capitan possibly earlier this week next to see if that solves the problem.

Also, you could try manually terminal: screencapture t 10 ~/Desktop/screenshot.png and see if you get an error or not.
