It is part of your Microsoft Office software, so first of all I would like to try a reinstall of the bureau and if cela does the trick I had to head over to the forums Office for further assistance.

Windows 7 AppCrash UpdateChecker.exe
Howdy all,
First time poster, long drive date. I have an Asus laptop that I bought new in December of 2015 with Windows 7 Premium. In early March, after a particularly interesting day, I received an error that UpdateChecker.exe had crashed and closed. Not thinking about it, I thought it would open to the top next time I restarted. As much as I know, which never happened. After this day, the yellow shield "install updates" in the box "Shutdown" of the menu start never went away; even though Windows Update said that he had no update. The computer continues to receive and install updates from time to time, so, again, I don't think that anything about her. Then I noticed other weird things, like the print screen key stopped capturing screenshots...? I got a picture of my computer when I bought it new, so yesterday I've reconfigured it and began to run through all the updates again. After the 3rd round of the "Microsoft Windows must stop to install updates" when loading the desktop, I got the same message! This time I captured the AppCrash, data and here below. A Google search has proved fruitless because each application already has a updatechecker.exe it seems. I wanted to tender hand to this community for advice because I'm not sure that the info below is still useful. Let me know, thank you very much.

You can configure Windows to create dumps of user mode. First, create a System Restore Point.
If you copy and paste the following text in Notepad and save it as a .reg file, then right click on the .reg file and select "Merge" to add to the registry, when the .dmp file explorer.exe plant should be created in the C:\CrashDumps folder:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows error Reporting\LocalDumps\explorer.exe]
"DumpFolder" = hex (2): 43, 00, 3A, 00, 5 c 00, 43, 00, 72, 00, 61, 00, 73, 00, 68, 00, 44, 00, 75,.
00, 6 D, 00, 70, 00, 73, 00, 00, 00
After Explorer (explorer.exe) crashes, you can, and then make the .dmp file available (provide the link) via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?The following link has information about the use of Windows Live SkyDrive:

Probably caused by: shell32.dll (shell32! CDefView::_DoContextMenuPopup + 0)C:\windows\system32\cmdlineext.dll is 'Context to explore menu SecuROM' component of the SecuROM software which is installed with various games.
Here's a previous thread where the same .dll file was involved:
To stop the accidents you could try, as in this thread, disable the context menu of SecuROM for Explorer using ShellExView.
The following link has some information about contextual menus bad managers and a link to download ShellExView:

There might be other ways to solve the problem, for example when trying to get a fix of SecuROM:
They may be able to provide you with an update C:\windows\system32\cmdlineext.dll (currently installed is dated June 11, 2008) or give instructions how to remove SecuROM software.
