What is the problem? I just put all my desktops and now I can't work. Ineed to get this working ASAP. Help, please. I was able to get the document of Microsoft Analysis funtion to work but only with the dish. It does not recognize the automatic document feeder. I need to be able to quickly analyze the many documents and I scan a document & save at the same time is not an option.

  .NET framework 3.5 and below is included in win7, theres nothing to download.

  And no imaging custom MS do recognize the feeder, it is a feature of the Lexmark scan software.

  OK, so I thought naively: "you had Windows XPII SP III for several years.  Time to update. "I bought a program of 32-bit Windows 7 for my old Dell Dimension E520.   Thank God I have the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor printed report that told me what to expect with a certain number of programs, including Dell AIO Printer 962 Photo, Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album, WordPerfect12 and a few others wouldn't work, or have problems with Windows 7.    First of all the Dell AIO Printer 962 Photo.  Despite the fact I've updated drivers, and the small list of control on the screen tells me it is read to use, I get a message saying something like "your computer is unable to communicate with your printer.  He then advises me to unplug/re-plug the USB power cord cord, restart the computer, etc..  I did all that, nothing.  Second, the software I bought Corel, WordPerfectX6.  The thing installs OK.  Then I try to run it and I get a message stating: "WordPerfectX6 has stopped working" No. S_t!  I tried to uninstall and reinstall and nothing.  I had a call to the toll-free line 1-taking in charge, but I swear to you that I am about to return the thing and just do with NotePad.  What is essential now is Dell
  Photo AIO Printer 962.  Someone at - he had THIS problem and found a solution?  I mention the other problem where the two events are related.   And since I use Windows7/32-bit, a Microsoft Product, I take a shot that maybe someone can have a cure!   Thanks in advance for any advice.   Dell, web site, there is no driver Windows 7 not listed for your printer on the printer control, so everything you download may not work. The thing nearest Dell listed are Vista drivers, you can try the 32 bit version.

  Cut first download auto driver from windows update.

  Start right click System computer/properties/Advanced/settings/device installation settings/tick won't let me choose and never install win update and save the changes then install driver.

  You have the disc printer? If Yes, then insert the floppy disk to the printer and keep it from running. Go to my computer and double-click it. Locate the drive that contains the disk Dell inside. Right-click on it, left click Explore. Find the folder of the OCR. In the OCR folder, there is a folder of Abbyy. Right click on setup.exe, which is located in the folder Abbyy and left, click Run as administrator. This will install the OCR program.

  I try to use WinMerge, a program I've used for years.
  Now, every time that I throw I get say popup "want allow you the program following an unknown Publisher to make changes to this computer".

  I tried to use the application compatibility Wizard to solve this problem, and I managed to get to the pop-up window IF I run the program from the inside of the Act.
  But if I try to start the Dowes program I get the popup :(

  I guess I must be missing something in the law so that it works all the time.

  This message appears when the application doesn't have an authority root certificate. These types of notifications can be disabled from user account control settings.
  [1] method: Using Control Panel to change UAC settings
  CAUTION: Turn off UAC is NOT recommended
  • On the start menu, select Control Panel
  • Go to system and security > Action Center
  • In the left pane, select change user account control settings
  • Drag the button scroll never notify
  • Click OK to save your settings

  OPINIONS: UAC can avoid potentially dangerous applications to make changes on your computer. Disable UAC would disable the feature for all programs and not for a specific special application.
