Applications blackBerry Smartphones upgrade kernel deleted an app purchased

October 16, 2009, I bought the Weatherbug Elite BlackberryAppWorld store program and successfully installed on my Storm 9530.  October 19, I used the Desktop Manager application to upgrade the integrated applications in the phone.  I checked the box that says to make a backup of my data.  During the process of restoring data, the program said that it was impossible to update one of the databases.  When the update is finished, I found that, not only the Weatherbug Elite program had been deleted from my phone, but it has also been removed from the list of applications purchased in the BlackberryAppWorld application on the phone.  I sent the RIM on this problem, but got no response yet.  I have the e-mail message that was sent to me when I bought the program, confirming my purchase.

It has finally been resolved, although not through any response to the issue of charging, as I posted in this forum.  I finally found a telephone number for technical support RIM, (877) 255-2377, they are careful not to indicate on this web site.  The technician had me re - enter my payment information in the section My Apps from BlackberryAppWorld.  At first, this did not help, but after a delay of about one minute, the Weatherbug Elite program reappeared in the purchased applications listing, and I was able to download it again.  Again, I don't know (and may never know) why all my other applications purchased from BlackberryAppWorld has continued to demonstrate, but only this one application is not reappear until I updated my payment information.

  • BlackBerry smartphones need help on my App purchase

    Hi all

I bought the "Tarot card reader - easy and quick method... ' Request of SRID games via Appwold on 20 August (order number 12156770).

While I was in the process of downloading, my connection suddenly went off, so the process has failed.

Later, when I tried to download the application once more, I discovered that the app was already registered in the category 'not installed' in MyWorld. As I clicked it to reinstall, I could not find the button to "Reinstall".

Can you please help me with this matter because I had already paid for the app and consulted with the developer. He or she then told me to ask Blackberry App help.

    Kind regards

  • BlackBerry smartphones please help with an app purchased on app world...

Hello. I hope someone can help me. I bought an app (shazam yet) on the bb app world, I clicked on the price to pay and then entered my password 2 start the purchase and download. When it was supposed to start the download, it gave me an error of insufficient funds, while I had R160.83 on my account. When I checked my balance, I found this app world charged me to demand that I can not download. What can I do?

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

    • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

    4 AppWorld must close.

    5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

I hope that will allow you to download the application you paid for. If not, then you should contact your mobile provider (vodacom, according to your profile) for the resolution of this... they can have you degenerate into RIM so that records can be correctly verified. Please be aware that if the vodacom rep told you they can't help or that you must contact directly the RIM, then you need to ask their supervisor or hang up and call back. There is no way to contact you directly on RIM this... only can your cases via an escalation of your provider receive formal attention to RIM.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Applications blackBerry Smartphones Deleted/desinstalles in BlackBerry World not really gone?

This seems to be a recurring problem for many users of BlackBerry and it's bugging us.

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9700 and I have a few apps that I uninstalled, however, they always appear as uninstalled items. I can't get rid of them. I don't want to even see that they are uninstalled in my world! I did the reset in the App World (alt R S T) that reboots only App World and applications are STILL there in the uninstall section. By clicking on one of these elements just gives me the opportunity to reinstall the (there was a reason to uninstall them in the first place). I took out the battery, I even tried to remove these applications Options, Applications and they always appear as uninstalled App World. I just want that they disappeared and did not track that I have even downloaded the.

Is there a way for these items to be deleted and is not at all, that I have need the reminder of these applications on my screen

Well I just discovered this. If you have already deleted the application and it is listed in the program / application not installed, follow these steps:

    1. Select the application

2 initiate a process of installation of the application that is to say. As you want to install it again

    3. can pause while installing

4 do the OPTIONS and click CANCEL

This will remove the application from your BB.

    It worked for me. Bold9700

  • Services/applications for blackBerry Smartphones that I deleted back on reboot

I rebooted just my camera, after that I had to reinstall BBM (that is another story), and I found that many services/applications that were on the device when I bought it I deleted are back. Desktop software takes no notice of them, so I think these services are on my SIM card and are loaded on every time I reload my camera.

However, if I reboot my device after a prompt of the App World app, they don't come back, so there's obviously a few conflicts between the reboots after guests in the App World app, where such services do not return, and that it recharges after the guests of the device, where they come back.

My question is: short to go to my nearest store of O2 and talk to them, is there a way I can permanently delete these services/applications, or prevent back?

    Services/apps that I mention are:
Gameloft, who sends me to a website via WAP (which turns out to be retained; Gameloft is where buy you games for your mobile O2, so why I think that these services/applications are created on the SIM card)
AIM, download Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, MySpace and WLM, which are links to their respective download pages, only those links have their own individual icons.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

These icons are shortcuts 'teasers' pushed to you by your carrier. You can't really get rid of those nor can prevent you re-fill (if you check your contract in detail, I'll be there is some small print allowing your carrier to push them to you). On the contrary, what I do is to create a homescreen folder called "Alternative icons" (some call it "Junk") and to settle all these icons. In this way, they are out of the way.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones where to download social app feeds?

I deleted the app RSS Social after installing the OS6 upgrade thinking I would not use it.  I would try it again, but can't find where to download the application.  I searched AppWorld and can't find it.  I've upgraded via OTA and when I plug in the BB for Mac Desktop Manager 2.0, I don't see the installation option.

    Thank you

You are downloading device carrier OS from this link and install on your PC/laptop.

use BlackBerry Desktop Manager from the Application program loader and choose social app feeds to install in your BlackBerry.

  • Applications blackBerry Smartphones to be recorded in the internal storage card or media other than RAM.

    Hi guys,.
IAM hrdware configuration set with hand torch
    512 MB of RAM
    4 GB of storage internal

If I install any appps blackberry app world are those get saved in the RAM memory, which reduces the speed of the aircraft, to help me how do to install applications to the media card or internal storage

    Thank you best regards &,.
    Sandra

    Hello!

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD Card Memory.

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media- is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:

    • KB05461 Sizes of card MicroSD taken in charge by the BlackBerry device software

On some devices/OS levels, you can see 'Free file' (Options > status), I think this is equivalent to AppMemory. You can see on other devices, all the memory usage levels three (Options > memory). Here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

In addition, each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

    Good luck!

    Hello Johnfss

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

In the settings of your device please check first if option keep Message has the Maximum value or forever. For help, see this Knowledge Base article:

KB13093   : How to use message keep on the BlackBerry Smartphone options

If it is already set to Maximum, then most likely your device suffers from some memory. If our device suffer little memory so it will remove our message.

KB14213   : The call logs, SMS text messages and emails are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

So, start by checking these things.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones synchronization messages deleted

My boss has a Blackberry attached to his desktop computer and I have full access to his e-mails.  If she removes the emails from his desktop computer and then they disappear from his Blackberry, but if I delete an email from him in my computer box, ir remains on his Blackberry.

However, if I drag the enamel removed from my Inbox deleted the box removed, then it deletes the e-mail on his Blackberry and his office computer, but it is a heavy means time to process spam and other garbage e-mails (and I know that I remember to do all the time!).

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hey Joneedshelp,

When a delegate removes any element of the box of a BlackBerry smartphone user mailbox, the deleted item is sent to your deleted items folder. Because the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is designed only to synchronize with records of the BlackBerry smartphone user's mailbox, the deleted item is interpreted as missing. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not remove an article from the BlackBerry smartphone, unless this element appears in the items deleted in the mailbox when the synchronization folder. You can change your Outlook client for when you remove items from the mailbox to the owners stay in their deleted items folder and they are not being moved to your mailbox. Support blackBerry does not recommend or support this work around, because it requires editing the registry. The Microsoft KB is 202517 and can be found on the microsoft support site. Please don't forget to take precautions normal according to the guidelines from Microsoft if you are planning changes to the registry.

  • Director of office of blackBerry Smartphones will not erase the Apps

When I use Desktop Manager to remove an app on my curve by unchecking the app, the check mark back just a second or two later.  Is there anything else I should do?  Thank you.

    Weird...

You could remove the application right on the BB itself. Untethered, follow these steps:

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight, but do not select the app > BBKey > delete

    See if that does it.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not delete Curve 9360 browsing history

I have a strange problem with my BlackBerry browser.  I deleted the history and cleared the cache in the browser, but the links on Web pages are always appear as purple (i.e., visited) even after the history and cache have been cleared.  No idea why this is happening and how I can fix this problem?

Did you restart the unit after the cache and history has been erased?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  • Messages from blackBerry Smartphones do not delete on blackberry703e

When I delete a message on the blackberry 8703e will not delete the actual message on blackberry.  The message is still there.  I have, click on the email and delete it on the menu and the message is still there.  Is there a setting that is turned on or something.  Your help is much appreicated.

    I think it's a software problem.

    So, follow these steps.

Backup your sensitive data via Blackberry Desktop Manager.

And clear the memory of your device.

Go to Options - Security Options - General settings

Open the menu and select 'clear the cell '.

After that, restore your data on the device.

Please note - do not backup TOTAL and COMPLETE, because you can save and restore the wrong data that caused the problem.

Use the 'Advanced' in backup option and backup only that information which is necessary.
