    The CS2 isn't too old.

Adobe has a policy of "return of a version" upgrade which means that the only products that benefit from upgrades at a discount to the current CS6 are CS5 and CS5.5.

Your other option is to join the creative cloud and pay a monthly fee.

  • CanI put lightroom 6 as default application in windows 10 pro?

6 Lightroom will not display as an application in the default setting for windows 10. Is this a known issue? Is there a way to define lightroom 6 as the default image app?

It depends on the "file type" you are trying to make the default Lightroom.

Lightroom can open. LRCAT file 'catalogue', nothing else. !

So that you can not do it by default for JPG, PSD, DNG, NEF, CR2...!

Don't even try, it will mess with the default system!

    Hello

I have a PC running Windows XP Pro on which I run several programs. After the opening of a few applications, I have this message "not enough memory".
When I have this message, I can't open another application, or those in Windows... I have 2 GB of memory and only 700 MB are used.
If I open the calculator several times (about 65 times), I have the same result.
Sometimes, I get no error message, but the application does not open.

    Someone knows why?

The fundamental difference is that Windows RT is designed to be on a Tablet Windows 8 Pro is the complete PC software.

RT will let you only install apps in the Windows store (like the iTunes Store from Apple or Google Play).  RT will also not Flash, except on sites that Microsoft have certified as "safe".

Windows 8 Pro will give you everything - install any Windows software, run websites in Flash, etc.

Think of Windows RT as a Tablet and Surface Pro as a laptop with a touchscreen and you will not really far from the truth.

  • If I buy a tablet of surface with Windows RT can move to Windows 8 Pro?

Or I just have to wait until the release of surface Windows with Pro?

No, you cannot update the software because the hardware is different. Surface with Windows RT has a mobile processor (ARM), whereas the Surface with Windows 8 Pro has an Intel processor (like most of the PC).

  • Windows 8 pro applications say that they are not connected to the internet

I just installed Windows 8 pro and after installing, everything worked well. However, now all applications say that they are not connected to the internet.

Shop Windows says "you're PC is not connected to the internet," However, when I go to the Office the internet works fine.
    How can I fix?
I tried to make a new account and check my internet options, but nothing seems to work.

After much more research online, I was able to find the problem for my computer. Before moving to windows 8, I had AVG internet security on windows 7, and apparently that's what was blocking the applications to connect to the internet.

So if you have some type of antivirus or internet security installed, try to remove them to see if that makes a difference.
  • I can not find applications or settings in Windows 8 Pro and you can find only finance, store, bing, music, video

I installed Windows 8 Pro on my machine (Core i5, 4 GB Ram, 1 GB 6850 Radeon Toxic, 1 TB HDD)... I'm happy to use it except for one of the major problems that is search.

I can't find the files on my HARD drive! Applications, the settings option does not appear under the search option in the charming bar. In Windows Explorer, there is no search option. If I go into the right corner and go to the research, I can get just the weather, bing, store, music, video, finance. There is no search option, settings app that appears in other windows machines 8. Also, there is no search bar in Explorer window next to the address bar.

How can I get Windows 8 to my files them, applications and search parameters and also get the search box in Windows Explorer?

Yes. I contacted support and counsel really ruin my station with some rookie mistakes very until he was found. Basically, the solution was to re - install the search options in Windows by going to programs and features / turn on or off windows features. Once he did that options appeared in the search. But not before he has installed antivirus software freeware to scan my stations for viruses that took its logmein software that it has been detected as a threat how it decided to call my house at 02:00 once he realized that he was disconnected by its own hurt... • Failed to update Windows 8 on Surface Pro

Recently received notice of update Windows 8 for a number of updates (12 years old and +) for my Pro Surface. Allows updates to download. After waiting nearly two hours with the screen that says "do not turn off computer while updates are happening", I finally shut down the computer and restarted. After reboot, I lost all control of type of coverage, touch pad or corner of the mouse. I have tried convenience store several times indicating he had problems and they were fixed. But still none of the devices has no control. Can offer you a solution.

See if you can start the restore of the system as a result of these options.  If you can see if you can restore before the problem.

  • How to disconnect from the Mail application built into Windows 8 Pro

I think that this old question / thread has been neglected (closed) and went without a good answer.

Citing the answer of the moderator of this thread.
    "

    Hey jayRads,

There is no concept sign in email and applications on the Preview version of consumer Messaging. If applications use the credentials you entered in your Windows profile, you will need to disconnect your account under settings of the PC users.

    -Isabelle '.
and we know that this is not a real answer to the question.

Since I only have a Local account signed in Windows 8... and when I click on the mail and forced me to Sign In (add account MS)... There should be a disconnect somewhere after I entered my hotmail account. Logically faulty if there is really nowhere to disconnect my hotmail. Even used Credential Manager/ne shows not my signed in accounts.

NOTE: All I can do is to remove all accounts from the e-mail settings, but it affects all applications (Messaging, people, etc.) which usually isn't my idea of disconnection from Mail only. :(

I want to just sign out since the Mail application (will also apply to applications that require a signature in) is possible.

Please enlighten me in this situation.

    Thank you
    Ferdie

    Hi Ferdie Miranda,

Thank you for choosing windows 8 and we join on our community.

I understand from the description of the problems, you want to know the way to disconnect from the Mail application in Windows 8.

Windows 8 Mail app has been designed so that it will keep you in connected mode all the time so that you will be able to check your e-mail without connecting to the Web-based e-mail.

The steps in the thread you mentioned are quite correct.

If you want to disconnect, please delete your account.

  • WEBCAM HP HD 3100 want support for windows 8 pro camera app

Hi, this is first time I write a post, because I am not able to find any support for my HP WEBCAM HD 3100 for windows 8 pro , with windows 8 I have a camera app name , and what problem I face is that whenever I want to use my webcam with this application, the error message has just been not detect camera , I went for the support of the windows forum 8, they said to refer to the manufacture for driver problem, and there is not the issue, that the software HP HD 3100 driver installation is ARCHSOFT and ARCSOFT I VISION which I had already installed on my PC, the webcam works perfectly with other services webcam chat webcam with another application , Its just that it does not work with the individual CAMERA app.

Please tell me what I can do to remove this problem with the camera application.

    Respect of

    Amit

Yes, it is compatible with Windows 8.1 since it works in my laptop even without installing the supplied software suite. I had to install it for Win XP but win 8 pilots inside to operate the camera. Try it on a different usb port. Remove and uninstall the software from the Control Panel programs and do a system restart. Let the appliance must be installed by windows with it is in built drivers. This would remove any incompatibility between Windows and drivers you have installed.

  • EliteBook 2570p: Windows 7 Pro OEM activation error after reinstall onto the new HARD drive

    Greetings!

I had to replace my laptop HARD drive and then clean installed windows iso downloads, burned on a dvd.

I first tried Windows 10 (build 1511), then Windows 7 Pro 64 bit with SP1. Or activate using the key OEM COA sticker.

I tried MS activation of phone also, but they said that they could not generate a confirmation key. They tried to transfer me to "get windows up and running support" but could not get through.

The first activation says invalid key without being connected to the internet, which makes me wonder if there is an inconsistency between my product key and SLIC data, (which I do not have much understanding).

The service 'Ask Tech' at Microsoft tried to sell me a license at a high cost, which I don't think I should need because I have the license OEM Windows 10 retail.

I don't have HP recovery disks (and did not expect to need).

    Any advice would be welcome!

(the location is the South Africa)

    NoKillBill

The problem is that you should NOT use Win7 ISO downloads to reinstall your PC.  Given that your PC came with a preinstalled HP Win7 OEM version, and is NOT available for download, I have to assume that what you used to reinstall a retail version.

And the problem is that the commercial version only lights up with a retail key.  The product key that came with your PC and is printed on the COA sticker, is a key to OEM HP product - and that cannot be used to activate any other than the version from HP OEM version of Win7.

Your best bet at this point, is to restore your PC using HP recovery media - and then perform the upgrade of Win10 after that.

It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

You can look online for recovery from the paged media related: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, enter your product name or number. On your software page and download the drivers, select your operating system and version. Click on "Update".  If the HP recovery support is available for your computer, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Note that if HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

    Good luck

  • Wizard Boot Camp is stuck at "Download windows software support...". "0 minutes 0 seconds remaining (for 48 hours and more) ' for Windows 10 Pro

Wizard Boot Camp is stuck at "Download windows software support...". "0 minutes 0 seconds remaining (for 48 hours and more) ' for Windows 10 Pro.

I did Boot Camp with 8,1 this system successfully but the upgrade of Windows 10 dorked BootCamp upward when it is added to the system partition.  Has had a lot of work, but ultimately got all partitions disappeared and I tried Boot Camp and got it.  I erased the disc and then reinstalled El Capitan sweet factory without bringing more parameters.  Now, I still get the same error?

    I tried a few sizes of ~ 50 to 170 G with no luck.  It's on a MBP 2016 15 "with retina, 512G SSD, 16G RAM, GPU display.

Any suggestions?  Troubleshooting?  I can't yet find/say if this thing creates something useful for a log file or?

    1. you download Windows Support software on a wireless connection? If so, try a connection cable, if possible.

    2. Please look in Applications-> utilities-> Console logs for error messages.

  • Upgrade to Windows 8 Pro fails miserably, why?. What can I do to make sure it works this time.

DV6 - 7247cl just bought 1 week ago, I bought windows 8 pro upgrade pack and backed up my windows 8 base images.  When to perform in-place upgrade today ' today-all seemed well until it has restarted and came to a start with three boxes menu: Windows 8 on volume 4

    Windows 8 on volume 4

    Installation of Windows

I tried all 3 and each of them became all black and then blue screen, your computer has encountered a problem....

I went into recovery options and each tried and nothing worked.  The last option that I came was to make Factory Image Recovery, I need Windows 8 Pro because I join domain and use Bitlocker and start with the virtual hard drive.  Why it failed, would it secure boot or UEFI.  Please tell me what I can do to get this update to work.  The upgrade looked like it was working but then wouldn't boot into Windows more after the reboot.

Sorry for the experience with the support of Microsoft. I wasn't expecting that. Let us try the old process to restore the system to the factory settings, uninstalling unwanted applications and then create an inplace upgrade to Windows 8 Pro. Let's see what happens this time.

  • HP support assistant - will launch or uninstall properly - Windows 7 Pro SP1

RE: Cannot run, HP Support Assistant can not even uninstall properly.

Have my office since 2010.  HP Support Assistant has still works perfectly.  Now when I try to run HP Support Assistant, it does not start, returning the message "an unhandled exception ('System.TypeInitializationException') occurred in HPSF.exe [6264].»

In response, I downloaded the latest version of HP Support Assistant HP website and tried to install it.  There was a problem and he asked me if I wanted to try an install using recommended settings.  I said yes, but no completion message was never presented.

Thus, by the HP troubleshooting suggestions I tried to uninstall HP Support Assistant using the dialog box uninstall Windows standard.  But, also, the operation failed with the message "Error 1316 network error occurred trying to read from C:\Windows\Installer\HP support Assistant.msi".

I tried again to install the latest version of HP Support Assistant, but once the installation wizard has started the only message he introduced the question of if I wanted to replace the existing files.  I said yes, the wizard appeared to move forward, but no completion message was never presented.

Another attempt with the dialog box uninstall Windows failed once again with the same error 1316 as before.

    So I'm puzzled.  Suggestions?

My PC: Desktop, model HP Pavilion HPE-170 t

    OS: Windows 7 Pro, SP 1, 64 - bit

The HP Web "Boot errors resolve the MSI" page (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00811375 ), I found a link to a Microsoft Web page: "The problems that the programs cannot be installed or uninstalled" (http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall?).  This Web page has a "Program install and Uninstall Troubleshooting" utility which worked like a champ to effectively solve the problems with the existing, corrupted application and uninstall it.
