Apply a signature in Acrobat 9 Pro to close.

Whenever I try to apply a signature to PDF it causes Acrobat I get an error window that says, 'the instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". "The memory could not be"read" Acrobat then closes and when I re - open and try to work on the document even if I click on the signature I get another message indicating that signature, "contains incorrect, recognized, corrupted, or suspicious, data support information: given ilegal SigDict/content. On the user PKI certificates are good and are the same as those who are in the signature. Any ideas? Thank you.

I see that you have the toolbar installed in your image TerraGo

I found that the toolbar TerraGo conflicts trying to digitally sign a PDF file - I did not understand why.

The only solution I have for the moment is to uninstall the TerraGo toolbar.

Acrobat 9 is quite old and not longer supported. The last Windows OS that could use Acrobat 9 has Windows 7 and Acrobat had to have all updates applied.

You need to upgrade to Acrobat DC.

  • Necessary staff - Acrobat 9 Pro will not accept serial number

I've recently updated to the Mavericks (I know I know... but not baby!). The only reason why do better that I stopped at Mavericks was to ensure that my CS4 would still work for me (I can't currently upgrade to a new CS'A). Initially, I installed from my disks, but ran into problems starting with InDesign (error code 5 and then say that it was not installed). Acrobat Pro would not accept the serial number, and after that Photoshop and Illustrator arrested for opening and gave error code 150:30.

Because CS4 is an older version, there is no phone support. I went to the cat. He is not much either, just a parrot who repeats what I said - finally didn't so that he could not help me to «go to the forums» I'm on the forum and help very warmly received with uninstalling, cleaning (CC Cleaner Tool, etc...) and reinstall. They advised me to reinstall to a DMG downloaded from Adobe. I did everything above and it works now very well (at least seems!).

My only problem is still Acrobat Pro 9 I remember this as a recurring problem over the years (thanks to a previous operating system upgrade). In the past, I was able to get help from Adobe because at that time, he was not as old. I managed to get someone on the phone who helped me darkly that I can't remember or repeat. In the search on Google and forums to research, it's apparently a problem for a lot of other people - but I have not found an answer that works, just a bunch of frustrated people. I have told me (more than once) that the customer service are the only ones who can finally solve the problems associated with the granting of licences or activation/unlocking serial number - which included a second round to try the phone, then cat and now forums. So here I am again!

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro has been installed with all of the suite CS4 - both times (first from my drive, (deuxieme from the DMG from Adobe). Not as a stand alone, but the license number seems to treat it as one and does not account for more that it has been installed. I have only a serial number on my disks box, which does not work for Acrobat Pro 9. Initial CS4 installation took this serial number, and since it's a CS2 upgrade - it took and serial number. This is not an option in Acrobat Pro. She asked only a serial number.

In desperation (since not getting anywhere with Adobe - so far), I downloaded a key Locator, and he finds the serial number for the installation of Acrobat Pro. But it doesn't work anymore. ??? I noticed that the key finder says 'Acrobat 9.0' not 'Acrobat Pro 9.5.5' as in my applications folder (it is fully updated today - even if I can't open it). I manually applied all the updates to CS4 - as programs no longer work on the newer operating system. There were 23 patches for Acrobat Pro and it took a lot of time to work through the process, so not looking forward to it once again!

I've exhausted most of the tips and troubleshooting tips. I contacted as many sources as I can. I spent more than a week (full time) on this 'project' to date.

What we are supposed to do? We cannot use Time Machine either, it screws everything up by other means...

    Help, please!

(I have no hair left out...)

I went through a lot of stages, misadventures, installs them, reinstall. But I finally solved my problems.

The final installation resolved all the issues with the error: 6 / error: 5 / error: 150:30 and above all, the problem with Acrobat 9 Pro accepts only not my key. It was mostly with my original installation disk, since the beginning of time. I've been lucky (and persistent) enough in the past to get people help me tech workaround. Now, you're on your own - with the help of the forum!

I probably wrote what has worked under the wrong subject (it was actually an update of a forum member who helped me).

So I post it here too, just in case someone else is having a similar problem... and to answer myself. ) I like to wrap things!

I don't know that I've mentioned before... but something else that could make a small difference, was that Java has been pre-installed by the third CS4 install. It was installed after the 2nd installation of CS4 and I don't take her away after having served all things Adobe (as described below).

We downloaded Acrobat DC pro of our license website and I cannot apply updates of trail continues on this version, because the installation program uses the direction of the classic track.

As you can see we can download the updated continuous or classic track here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1 & platform = Windows but I fail to find a download for DC pro that uses the installation of the continuous track files.

  • Help please... Plugin 3D damaged on Acrobat 9 Pro Extended - orientation of re - install

    Hello...

I get warning messages indicating that 'part of the plugin 3D Capture is damaged"during the past week and finally tried to follow the advice of Adobe online by editing the registry (in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Wow6432) and made sure my security application"trusts"acapture32.dll, then tried to repair Acrobat twice - unsuccessful... makes things look even worse now.  But when I tried to contact Adobe support for some advice, what they could "Help me" with recommended I go to 11, because 9 is no longer supported.  Need 11... 9 served my needs perfectly up to corruption.

This evening I visited the Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended download page and tried to download the .msi 'Version 3D Update 200810' file but when I try to run it, I get a screen that says: "no qualifying product not found to apply this update" which suggests, he now cannot even SEE my app.

Adobe support would be same not answer a simple question, I have had... maybe someone here can help me.

I've seen a lot of questions on the forums related to disabling on an older system and properly install and activate the software on a new computer, but nowhere is it clear on how to uninstall a program that is corrupt... and reinstall it on the SAME computer.

    My question is:

I know disabling function is critical, but I need to know which of the two I should do before you uninstall and then reinstall:

1 should I choose to "turn off & hang"... (which supposedly keeps my registration information) but if I UNINSTALL the software then reinstall it and try to activate again, don't I lost my "registration" information in any case during the uninstallation of the application of my system before reinstalling it?

    -OR-

2 should I I select instead of "Permanently disable", UNINSTALL, then reinstall it - and I'll be able to go through the new registration process for a product Adobe says that it supports more... AND activate it?

What seems strange, my Pro Extended 9 indicates also I am running version 9.5.5, but on the download page of Adobe for Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, I see that updates through version 9.4.5.  I have been to receive automatic updates Acrobat 9 they are released, so the only place where I could have gotten a 9.5.5 update has been through Adobe.

Please help me... Adobe has so many hoops to jump through that there is too much room for screwing.  I'm so ask for assistance before making...

    Thank you!

    -Janie-

    Hi Janie,

If the option 'disable and suspend' so even if you uninstall the software license information would be kept on the computer that you plan to install later.

If you select the option "deactivate permanently" then no license information will be stored on the computer when you uninstall the software.

So to answer your question, you can choose between option but since you want to reinstall the software on the same computer, you can choose the first option and then uninstall the software.

The latest version of Acrobat 9 is v9.5.5

Updates are no longer available on our Web site, but you can download it from: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/9.x/

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot install update recent of Acrobat 9 Pro

After you have installed a trial version of CS5.5 Master collection (including Acrobat 10) my purchased Acrobat 9 Pro has been removed (or otherwise hidden) my machine. After evaluating the choice of different software in the main collection, I uninstalled the entire suite and installed my newly purchased production suite pro. Given that production pro does not include Acrobat, I reinstalled my purchased copy of Acrobat 9 Pro. Since it was installed from the installation DVD, updates are necessary. Everytime I try to update to Acrobat 9 pro, I get the following error: "Adobe Updater Install Manager has stopped working". In addition, whenever I open my outlook 2010 client, it crashes and recommends that I disable the Adobe pdf form (which I've now disabled). I looked on the internet and could not find a solution to the problem. I use Windows 7 Home Premium. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Patrick

    Good day Patrick,.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble.  Please try the following steps after a fresh reboot of your system:

    1. Repair your current installation of Acrobat 9 via help > fix the Installation of Acrobat
    2. Try to update Acrobat via help > check for updates.
    3. If the update fails, try to manually apply the update to Acrobat 9.1 via direct download here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4375
    4. Assuming that the update to Acrobat 9.1 successfully installs, please try to continue to update Acrobat up to 9.5 via help > check for updates.

Please let me know how it goes and if the problem with Outlook brightens as.

  • Fonts in a PDF document can be converted to outlines with Acrobat 9 Pro?

Acrobat 9 Pro... sometimes I get a PDF file that I have to make some changes in the.  Because I do not have some of the fonts used, I can't change the file without losing the fonts used.  Is there a way to have Acrobat may re-register itself with all fonts converted to outlines if this wont be a problem with the fonts othe errors that I can get?

Place the pdf file in InDesign...

Argl! Never what it is a total heresy!

    ==> Using Acrobat Pro:

-apply a transparent invisible object to all pages to force the flattening (for example to apply a little white square with an opacity of 1% in watermark in a corner).

-Then go to the flattening of transparency : http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/9.0/Professional/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7 b87.w.html

and use a flattener preset that convert fonts to outlines.

  • Update to Acrobat 9 Pro problem (Code: 1701)

    Hi Chaps,

I have Acrobat 9 Pro installed on a working PC.

The Adobe Updater found one updated, but when you try to run the update, I got this error:

Unable to save the files on the disk. Please check the updates later. If you continue to have problems, see your system administrator.

Consulted the manual, I think that it is Code 1701, problem: could not find the directory where the 7z files to extract.

Where are the files supposed to extract 7z to? If the Directory isn't there, I can just create it and run the udpate?

Any help would be a bonus!

    See you soon

In both of the newspapers provided I see

    [2010-04-19 13:18:07] File copy failed.
    [2010-04-19 13:18:07]    GetLastError(): 0 x 5 - access denied.

You are Admins on your systems?

Are there special permissions set on the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0?

Here's what can solve you the problem.

Next time that you run updater (updater is launched automatically and informs you of the update), you will probably end up with a file that looks like the one below.

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\9.3\ARM\xxxx

    or

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Reader\9.3\ARM\xxxx

Note, do not leave updater unless he presents with an error - output updater will clean up this folder...

This folder will be 4 files it contains.

Make sure you AdobeARM.exe file is version 1.1.7.0 and there valid Adobe digital signature of right mouse click on the file and look at the file properties.

Copy all these files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0

Output update if it is present.

Launch Acrobat and choose Help\Check for menu updates.

  • Presentation of Adobe acrobat 9 pro can not communicate with hp officejet 8600 premium pro scanner via WAI

Scanner works with the HP software and test successfully with HP Diagnostic Utility 4.2.  However, when I try to create a PDF document from the scanner by using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro I get an error message indicating that Adobe cannot communicate with the scanner HP 8600 WAI or Twain.

I've worked fine before with my HP 6380 hooked up via USB

    Hi jusandi,

Because the printer is able to scan from HP and Microsoft paint software then the problem you are having is with the Adobe Acrobat 9 software. My first suggestion would be to uninstall the program and then reinstall it to see if the problem persists. If you still have the same problem, you need to contact Adobe technical support.

  • Acrobat 8 Pro ' Check for Updates ' does not not (Windows 7, 64-bit)

I have Acrobat 8 Pro installed on my Windows 7 (64 bit) system; specifically v8.1.3. When you try to use the feature of ' Check for Updates ' application, Adobe Updater displays the following message: "no Internet connection found.  Please check your Internet settings or firewall. »

I do not encounter this error if you use the "Update" functionality with other applications such as Photoshop Adobe elements & Reader.  I have an internet connection.

I installed on my laptop Vista Acrobat 8 Pro and the feature "Check for Updates" works as expected.

All the words of wisdom on why I encounter this problem on my Windows 7 system and/or how to fix it?  Thanks in advance.

Problem has been resolved (the solution in a post on the forum of the Adobe Web site):

CONTROL PANEL > NETWORK CONNECTIONS >

Windows "gave me" a "Wireless Network Connection 3" that has been identified as a "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter"

I clicked it and chose to "disable."

Once the 'virtual' card has been deactivated, my Adobe Acrobat Update Manager launch worked well.  I've seen this problem on Windows 7; never lived with my XP or Vista systems.
