Apply a transformation to a map of AD in v9.1.6

Hello world.

I'm trying to apply a transformation to a VSM data map, and I can't get the code right.

I have a value from AD - for example '4300', and I need to turn it so that it shows as "Company" in VSM.

In the domain of transformation in VSM, I defined the Argument (ParentDivision) as a string data Type and the return Type as string.

.. .and I wrote this as my code:

If ParentDivision = ' 4300 "

Then return 'Enterprise '.

End If

.. .but when I test, I get an error that says: "expected Expression."

I know that the code is supposed to be in VB.NET syntax, but "cannot contain a function, class, Sub, Structure, ownership and imports or declarations of Member public, private, or protected. We must assume that the code is the body of a static function defined by the Type of data type and must include a Return statement that returns a value that is the transformed value. »

In the coding is definitely not my strong point, someone can point me in the right direction here, or give a few examples of the work of transformations that I can look at mine?

Any advice would be very welcome!

Thank you

Holly.

I hope this can help: this is the transformation code that I use for a mapping of SCCM/CI works well; the only difference I see is that I use double quotes so maybe it's just it? :

The Argument is defined as 'OS As String' and the return Type is defined as a String

If OS = "Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 5.1" Then

Return "Windows XP."

Else if OS = "Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 5.2" Then

Return "Windows XP x 64"

Else if OS = "Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 6.0" Then

Return "Windows Vista".

Else if OS AS "Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 6.1" then

Return "Windows 7."

Else if OS AS "Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 6.2 m $ *" then

Return ' Windows 8 '.

On the other

Return ' unknown ("& OS &" ' ").

End If

  • Apply same Perspective transformation to multiple images?

    Hi guys... I have a set of images, and I want to apply the same transformation of Perspective for all images. Note that all images have the same size, which means that, after applying the same transformation of Perspective, they should all have the same size.

    For example, here is the transformation I want:

    Of this:

    To do this:

    Problem is that when I manually apply the transformation for each image individually, they do not have the * exact * same size thereafter.

    Is there a way I can simply apply the transformation to a single image, and then this transformation is applied to the other images? I think I can use the functionality of the dynamic object here, but I have no experience on it.

    I'm not sure.

    var heightPercent = desc.getUnitDoubleValue (idHght);

    I think you just need to work with the option "scale setting. Select a mapping in edit mode to see this component:

    Now press the scale parameter option. Now, a graph open which allows you to apply a transformation. As you can see, for only that power button, you simply draw a graph, which sends to its ends and the wide at the middle.

  • Parks vector transform

    Dear all

    Can someone guide me how I can apply vector parks Transform and WAVELET TRANSFORM in LabVIEW. I have to draw graphics IQ using the approach of vector of parks. My signal is real-time I collect by DAQ card. I'm using LabVIEW 8.2

    Kind regards

    Muhammad Irfan

    Dear Mohammed,

    I took a peek at your code, and here is my interpretation of what you want to do.  You are to acquire the data of your DAQ hardware inside a while loop you want to run until you press the stop button.  Once you have all of your data you want to apply the transform vector of parks (TPV) and a transformation by wavelets.

    I could find a sub - vi that performs a Discrete Wavelet transform that I put inside a structure case function tab is selected.  However this sub - vi comes with the Toolkit LabVIEW 2010 Advanced Signal Processing, that you may not.  In this case, I recommend that you use a mathscript node, if you don't think that an equivalent function in a text according to the programming language.  Applies similarly to SWAP from a sub - vi comes with the Module OR SoftMotion which I don't think you have to be.

    I hope this has been of use

  • Applying the exact same montage of two photos in Lightroom

    I put my camera on my tripod and take several pictures with different exposure settings so that I can combine them in Photoshop through masks of brightness.

    Suppose that I took two pictures (A & B) with different exposure in my lightroom settings.

    This is my workflow:

    1. apply the Lens Correction in Lightroom for A & B

    2. apply the transformation using my guides customized in Lightroom for A & B

    3 export A & B in the form of layers in Photoshop

    4. apply luminosity masks and to merge these two layers for a final image.

    Currently, I struggle to apply the same guides accurate for step 2, because I have to manually draw these lines myself.

    Is there a way to apply the same settings to the step 1 and 2 directly to two images?

    After you apply the vertical tour on one of the photos, just sync turns it up for the other photos, selecting photos, ensuring that your corrected image is the selected time/all, click Sync, and then ensure that turns up is the only selected item in the transformation.  Of course if you made other adjustments to one and not the other you selected those other institutions, but transforms standing is one who guided a copy through the vertical adjustments:

    Is it possible to freeze a path or many layers of path if you want to reset these paths to their original location you can simply type, 0,0 in the transformation Panel after you move the paths?

    You may achieve what you want with an effect.

    Select an object in the appearance Panel, look under the context menu of fx at the bottom of the Panel and go to the Distort & transform > transform.

    You can apply multiple transforms (scale, displacement, rotation) and at any time, to find the inscription of the effect in the appearance Panel and remove the effect return zero. Or click the announcement effect to change.

  • Transformation of Scripts that run only on the selected Tables

    I'm relatively new to Data Modeler, but found almost everything to be very intuitive. I'm now doing use custom transformation scripts to dynamically add custom DDL elements. I wrote a transformation script that adds a sequence at the end of my DDL trigger successfully, and I'm happy with the results. The problem I run into is that we have two different categories of tables that require slightly different sequence triggers, but as my model is set to the level of database, my transformation scripts are applied to all arrays regardless they come what schema. Do you have any suggestions on how to limit the tables which proceeds by a transformation script? I thought to add if statements to check what schema tables are coming from, but if I have a situation where I have two different tables that require two different processing scripts, but they are in the same pattern, how can that I manage that? Ideally, I'd like to just pick a table and apply a transformation script for this table individually. Is this possible?

    I work in a relational model with Data Modeler 4.0.

    to dynamically add items customized to DDL

    you need to check the custom of DDL in DM 4.1 features - "tools > rules and design transformations > Table DDL transformations"-DM 4.1 comes with example to generate tables of the newspaper and associated trigger.

    . I wrote successfully in a transformation script that adds a sequence at the end of my DDL trigger

    Data Modeler can generate the sequence and relaxation for you - you need to define the column as 'auto increment' / identity and set in preferences, you want "trigger" put in place. 4.1 DM added support for z/OS, DB2 LUW DB2 and MS SQL Server 2012.

    Do you have any suggestions on how to limit the tables which proceeds by a transformation script? I thought to add if the instructions to check the schema, the tables are coming, but if I have a situation where I have two different tables that require two different processing scripts, but they are in the same schema

    Well you need to sort it out on yourself - you can use classification types, dynamic properties user defined properties (in DM 4.1) or put paintings in various subviews or use the search feature (4.0.3 DM / DM 4.1 comes for example how to use the search results to create subview).

    Ideally, I'd like to just pick a table and apply a transformation script for this table individually. Is this possible?

    Here is an example of how get selected tables:

    appv = model.getAppView();
    dpv = appv.getCurrentDPV();
    //check there is a diagram selected and it belongs to the same model
    if(dpv!=null && dpv.getDesignPart() == model){

  • Incompatibility with the transformation of multi - subject

    I am currently working on a project that is to develop two almost identical diagrams of the architectural floor plans, without distortion and one with. Each image is a collection of shapes, lines and text, and then I'm using a copy of the original and make a vertical scale transformation to make the second image. In this way, if I need to make changes to the original, I don't need to draw in the axon, I can just turn off the transformation, you change and then turn it back on.

    The question that I saw today was when I apply the transformation to the image, it seemed that lines and shapes have been all turned against themselves and not to a common origin. What I'm left with was a bunch of objects scattered, transformed individually. The problem, in my view, could be the way I ordered it in the Panel layers; each image has it's own layer and all the elements it contains are arranged on top of each other without any other overlay. In any case, I could solve the problem after you have selected the entire image, moving three pixels down and reapply the transformation.

    Is there something I should know about changes in the group that would remove some of the mystery and make my life easier? I see no reason why lowering the whole group would help to solve the problem, but he did, so now I'm confused.

    Thank you!

    jazeller,

    It seems that if you lived in a way something like transform each. If selected together, they shouldn't behave like that with a normal processing.

    He could have a temporary strangeness / corruption in the file (often a reboot or more are required to remedy). Does it occur again if you move the image up in its original position?

    Or, somewhat atypical, but depending on the size you are working, you can consider to match the pixel grid was inadvertently turned on.

    You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher.

    You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  • JavaFX - application of rotation transformation - preserve the State of processing before changing the parameters of rotation

    Hi people, I would like to ask for a help with my experiences of animation.

    case:

    -ball (sphere) moves and rotates in a direction around RotationAxis1. Rotation is defined on the object ball rotation by setting rotation.setAngle (angle1)

    -ball hits a wall

    -rotation axes change, now, the ball goes around RotationAxis2, new rotation of this axis starts angle2 = 0

    question:

    what I basically need is to preserve (save/apply) the transformation of rotation of the object, before changing the axis and an angle of new values, otherwise I'm ugly change in the rotation of the object

    If there is an object.rotateBy () and it would preserve his State, I wouldn't have such a problem, I could call

    object.rotateBy (angle); object.setRotationAxis (...), object.rotateBy (newAngle);

    After the piece of code works for me and it preserves the current state of rotation, all as he would continue to create new objects by adding transformations, this may not really be used in a real world scenario:

    ...

    getTransforms () .add (rotate);

    ...

    private void resetRotation() {}

    turn = new rotation (0, 0, 0, 0, new Point3D (motion.dy, - motion.dx, 0));

    getTransforms () .add (rotate); retains the current state of rotation and starts a new spin

    TODO: CELA WORKS BUT IT WOULD CASE MEMORY AND PERFORMANCE LEAKAGE - FIX IS NECESSARY!

    what I'm looking for, it's something like:

    private void resetRotation() {}

  • How to apply a custom rule just for a relational model?

    Hello

    My drawing has several relationship models, but I want to check custom rules or apply custom transformations just to a specific relational model.

    So, I created a 'personal library' called 'Custom design rules' with the following function:

    function checkColComments() {}

    result = true;

    ruleMessage ="";

    If (! column.getCommentInRDBMS ()) {}

    ruleMessage = 'no comment in RDBMS defined ";

    errType = "error";

    result = false;

    }

    return the result;

    }

    In the 'custom design rules", I created a rule"Comments column Check", referring to the library and the method created previously.

    But, even if I chose the "relational model" which I intend to apply this validation rule, run the script for all open models.

    This seems a bug (I use v3.3.0.747 DDM,) because it is asked to select the template to apply the script, but subsequently, this selection is ignored.

    I have not yet tried the v4.0EA to see if it has been resolved or not and the release notes does not refer to the list of the bugs fixed (or I have not found) as it was in version 3.3.0.747.

    No idea if I'm doing something wrong or if the bug still exists?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    design (including custom) rules are still applied on a relational model. I wasn't able to reproduce a case when this rule is broken.

    However, there is a bug in the 'Custom Design Rules' functionality and the rule is applied on what is called "current" model and model selected is ignored.

    Which works very well in the "Design rules" feature, where the selected model is used.

    As workaround for 'Custom Design Rules' - you can generate DDL by using "Generate the DDL" icon and this model will become as "current"relational model. "

  • Transform the effect of copies as Illustrator

    In Illustrator, you can apply a transformation effect that allows you to scale, rotate, move an object and create copies.

    With it you can make patterns like this:

    transForm.jpg

    I want to have control of animation on the different properties, just so import from Illustrator doesn't help me.

    Is there an effect inside the AE that I'm missing? What a plugin or script that can do something similar?

    This can be done with shape layers using Repeater on position location and anchor point

    If you have been good at trigonometry, you can write an expression that would do this on a regular sequence layers.

  • The Transformation of the Star can treat materialized views?

    Hello

    Oracle data warehouse Guide says that "the optimizer generates a subquery for a dimension table" when you apply a transform star. Star processing restrictions refer always to "dimension tables. I am referring to an Oracle 11 g server.

    My question is: If star can also manipulate materialized views instead of tables in database size? In my scenario, I intend to use views materialized, derived from dimension tables to build a simple star around a fact table schema. SQL queries directly consult the materialized views (contain the names of materialized views in the FROM clause) - no rewriting query or dimensional rollup is intended.

    Thanks for your advice.

    Yes - in your use case, they are one and the same. A dimension table is a table that has a foreign key to one or more columns in the fact table.

    Your VM is your dimension tables.
