I can't connect to Windows Live Sync on my laptop.  I have uninstalled/re-installed the program several times.  This may be related to the problem 2 others have written about.

I can access my desktop to online and check the files, but not my laptop.  I thought that the problem was because I was using Firefox, but even after uninstalling and installing from IE, I encountered the same error message.

Whenever I am try to connect, I get an error message stating that Windows Live has encountered a problem and needs to close.

It's frustrating because I'm a big fan of Windows Live Sync.

How did your problem related to the Windows Update feature?

    Hello

1 did you changes to the software to the computer?
    2. what happens when you try to use the system restore? You get the error message?

You get this error message if you already have a newer version of the operating system and then if you try to install an older version on it.

    Method 1.
Temporarily disable the security software installed on the computer and check if the problem persists.
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2.
Please check if you are facing the same question when working in safe mode.
    a. restart your computer.
    b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows XP Advanced Startup Options.
    c. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode without failure.
    d. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows XP.
    e. when Windows starts, try using System Restore and verify.

    Hopt this helps.

  • AppName: msn.exe AppVer: 10.0.79.2600 ModName: txsrvc.dll ModVer: 10.0.79.2600 Offset: 00010f93 I can not open my MSN Premium E-mail account. It's the technical error that I get every time.

I spoke with MSN, we uninstalled and reinstalled the software, all updates of drivers and software are up-to-date, they said it was a problem of operating system.

    Hi guzzy89,

    Method 1

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state, and you try to install the MSN software.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I suggest that scan you SFC on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

    (a) click Start, click run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.

    (b) at the command prompt, type sfc/scannow, and then press ENTER.

Note: You can be fast to insert the Windows XP CD.

  • Satellite P100-188-CD/DVD drive disappear when install iTunes

    I have a P100-188 and when I install itunes (ver 7.7.11 I think) my D drive disappeared.

Does anyone know the version of iTunes that I have to install to bypass this or the correct driver for the reader?

    > "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close." The error signature shows that: AppName: itunes.exe Appver:8.0.0.35 Modname: unknown Modver:0.0.0.0 Offset: 00008200.

I remember one of my friends had a similar question. The error always appears after the new installation of iTunes.
He called me and I tried different things, I reinstalled the application, clean the OS, etc, but anything :( I was really desperate

Finally, I decided to reinstall the OS to see if there could be something wrong with the Windows installed. And that was the key of the OS has been confused don t I know why, but after the new OS installation (it was a hard way) worked the iTunes

If you can first try reinstalling iTunes, then clean the operating system using CCLeaner and then try again.
If this can't help, then a new install of the OS may be necessary!

To resolve, download the freeware "ShellExView".

When you run it, it will give the list all extensions of shell on your computer.  You start by selectively the deactivation and activation of extensions until you find the (s) which is causing your problem.  Start by turning off all non-Microsoft (right click on a line-> disable) extensions and see if your problem persists.  If it isn't, then re-enable the disabled in small groups until you narrow down which is causing your problem.

  • Latest version of Windows update breaks Messenger

I noticed this problem a week ago. After that the automatic windows update, Live Messenger gives a fatal startup error. The error message reads "Windows Live Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience. »

If I restore my computer to before the restore point "software distribution service 3.0", it works perfectly. I also disabled the automatic updates in the Control Panel, still today, I found exactly the same problem and a system restore point at 2:21 in the morning, labeled "software distribution service 3.0.

I have to say that I'm terribly disappointed that a windows update would break a windows product, and moreover that the deactivation of the automatic control panel updates does not, disable, auto updates and allows this process continue to run unwanted on my PC.

It is the first line of the error report.

    AppName: msnmsgr.exe AppVer: 14.0.8089.726 AppStamp:4a6ce533
    ModName: wldcore.dll ModVer: 14.0.8089.726 ModStamp:4a6ce514
    fDebug: 0 Offset: 00002ee5

I have not installed at all new program last month, so I doubt that there is no conflict, and restore to the point before the update immediately fixing it seems to point to the update as being the culprit.

  • TFncKy.exe problem after upgrade to XP SP3 on Satellite A200

    Hello

After upgrade of XP SP3, I have problem with TFncky.

    _System_:
    A200/PSAE7
-XP Pro (2 x with OS selector, 1 OS XP XP main, 2nd XP for games)

    _Problem_:
After booting XP from my main XP installation I always get an error message pop up stating that there is no prob with TFncKy and TFncKy should be stopped. As "signature of the problem" I get the following:

    + AppName: tfncky.exe AppVer: 3.22.0.0 ModName: ntdll.dll +.
    + ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512 Offset: 00012ace +.

With one of the following keys on keyboard always results in above described error pop up but key are functional:
WinLogo, DEL, HOME, PGUP /-DN, END, right SHIFT, FN + keys F etc.

My second installation of XP (Lite for games) short smooth after SP3 upgrade: no error TFncKy error message.

As my second XP runs without any problems after SP3 I'm not sure if the proplem is related with + tfncky.exe + or + ntdll.dll +.

    BTW:
What driver package includes "tfncky.exe? Toshiba controls?

Thanks in advance for any information or advice for this problem!

    Best regards
    Andreas

    Hello

the problem was already discussed in another thread: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=18082

The last message was probably the solution for the whole of the case. The mentioned user that "TfncKy.exe" belongs to the Toshiba Hotkey utility that only needs to be removed and reinstalled for this problem.

In addition, it would be wise to check the registry with CCleaner for example before you reinstall the Hotkey utility.

    See you soon

  • Equium A60: I get the error message using explorer.exe

Whenever I try to open an image file using paint or Fax/Image viewer, or I try to drag a file to a folder, I get the following error message:

"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience ".

    The error report says:

    "ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 000847a 6.

Also I can't open Web pages that open in a new window, IE. Norton Internet Security 2005 also does not open, but has claimed to be active in the background.

Does anyone have advice for me?

I tried all the help for explorer.exe on helpwithwindows.com problems but nothing suggested worked - as spyware, malaware removal. I ran a few controls on-line virus - given that Norton does not work I have tried the scans online.

The laptop was bought last year, and we have lost the recovery CD - so if we need them, then where we can get replacements?

    Thank you very much

    Jonathan

    HI Jonathan,.

It seems to me that if your OS has been corrupted, and I would recommend that you re-install. You can get the replacement of any Toshiba authorized Service partner recovery CD. You can get a list of the asp from the Toshiba web site.

    Kind regards

  • All installed crash of Labview versions since 8.2 install

So, on my development machine, I had to LV7.0, 7.1, 8.0 and 8.6.  (As well as the different version of teststand, daqmx, nor-daq, tool boxes, etc...)  Then came the day, there is no if a long time (say two hours) I'd need LabVIEW 8.2.

So I install it.  He finished and tells me to restart.  I reboot, and after trying to run the newly installed 8.2.1, I get "Labview 8.2.1 development system has encountered a problem and needs to close...". "AppName: labvie.exe AppVer 8.2.1.4002 with the same respective values for ModName ModVer.

So I try one of my other installed versions, same for 7.1 8.0 and 8.6 except that 7.1 gives me ModName:msvcrt.dll ModVer: 7.0.2600.5512 rather than replicate the AppName and AppVer info.

LV7.0 also tells me "the requested feature is not available in"c:\program files\NI\shared\license manager\Licenses"now, this folder contains a Labview_Labview_070000.lic file that has updated the marking of 21/03/2003.

SignalExpress blocks the same way with ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512.

Now, another thing funny.   Manager licenses OR ceases to operate the same way.  AppName: nilmutil.exe AppVer: 3.3.0.39 ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512.

My current version of TestStand (3.5) accidents in the same way.  The version selector works.  Just spilled to 3.1 and it tells me "could not initialize the TestStand engine.  System-level exception. "Spilled the 4.1.1 and it throws up the home screen briefly then just sits in the background.  No CPU cycles only, no memory, no sequence editor use delta.

CVI 8.5 gives: fatal internal error to 001 B: 7C9108D3.  LabWindows/CVI is abandoned.

CVI 9.0 gives an Application error: the instruction at "0x7c9108d3" referenced memory at "0x656d7572".  The memory could not be "written".  Click on OK to terminate the program.

MAX 4.5.0f0 works and shows all these applications as installed.

I've got 18 services or that run in the background.

Help?  And please no answers ' uninstall/reinstall everything.  I bet that I've got 20 + hours in this thing over the last two months in the software OR / toolkit / driver installed and I can't afford to start all over again.

    Kind regards

A person on the line to support tech showed me the problem:

    Here

Apparently, you can have 99 license living in C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\Shared\License Manager\Licenses files.  License #100 brings the party to a halt.  I think it's something that should be fixed because each major toolkit has one or more licenses and even the Labview development versions will sometimes install 20 + full license on an installation files.
