  I just bought my first mac a few days ago, it's a mid-2012 MacBook Pro, here's the basic specifications:

My question: 16 GB of RAM would be an upgrade is appropriate or that it will be excessive because my CPU is so marginal?   You should check if your model of Mac supports 16 GB of RAM. If so - go ahead. Most likely, it supports Max 8 GB of RAM.

  There is not much difference between the simple models of M70 and AFAIK the M70 152 belongs to the same series of M70 as unity M70-151.
  So in my opinion, you can use this motherboard too.

  Most of the 7xx manufactured NVIDIA video cards are active UEFI and your PC does not have the right level of BIOS.  Your PC needs to have a BIOS version 8 level.  If the BIOS of your PCs supported the UEFI mode and secure boot you have a different problem.

  Looking for a different graphics card that requires no UEFI BIOS. You may be able to locate a Sapphire AMD graphics card that will work and be near the same level of performance. Glance at the series Sapphire R9which are not marked UEFI.

  The 780 NVIDIA or any graphics card close in performance will eventually be GPU bound.  This means that the graphics card will not reach its full potential of your PC with the design of the processor and motherboard.

If you want to run really demanding games on a laptop you need a portable game special purpose-built and those experiencing a few dollars. HP makes a laptop 'game' that runs around $1500 and it is at best a thing of mid range lower, but still much better than what you are asking about. True gaming laptops start at $2000. The laptop you are asking on maybe run some games to lower settings very well. Integrated video is going is pretty good, but which is like saying you are high 'little person' of the world-not much.

  Have you received an error during the installation of the graphics card?
  I recommend removing the graphics card in Device Manager.

  Hmmm, a long time ago, I used a G20 and I think the G30 is using the same antenna adapter.
  I simply connected the antenna to the coaxial antenna cable adapter.

  These coaxial cables use male and female connectors.
  There are also adapters with 2 x female or 2 male connectors.

  I think that you should just ask the computer, TV/video shop for a compatible cable/adapter!

  I hope you find your experience of positive Support Forum! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that your display is not coming properly, but you can start in safe mode. I'm happy to help you with this.

  Because the system operates in Mode safe mode, it allows to narrow the problem, although it's going to be associated with the graphics card or its driver.

  Something you might try is to remove the existing display using Device Manager driver of in Safe Mode and load a generic display driver.  Then, try to pitch it up normally and see if the computer is in place. Remember that you set the screen resolution to something a little more useful to you before moving on to a normal start to the top.

  If it starts normally then you can try the preferred display driver update with a new installation.  You can try the HP Support Assistant for the driver if you have not already very practice. Computers HP - using HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8, 7)

  If the pilot goes and the system works properly, then you should be good. If this isn't the case, then the card probably has something wrong with his ability to use his "higher functions".
