  We must decide whether to use the DLL and the VBScript in the custom action.  I know to run a custom action, the user requires administrator on the local computer.  Just amazing DLL and VBScript require different privileges to run.  A reference link would be appreciated.

• Another question "error 40."

  We have the same problem as gardeneva for a fix Access 2007 to Oct 2008 (cannot download, error 40).  Curiously, you can download the file only if change us the default location ("C:\ ") and download only on the desktop.  But then we get an error that we don't have to "be the expected version of the program."

  We are 64-bit windows 7, but the download x 86-is the problem?  How do we select - like gardeneva we do not seem to have this option.

  Select the hotkey Win + X, and then click command (Admin) prompt on the menu drop down. Type cd\ and press ENTER. Type or copy and paste the command "DISM.exe/online/Cleanup-image /Scanhealth " without the quotes and press ENTER. Type or copy and paste the command " DISM.exe/online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" without the quotes and press ENTER . Be sure to include the spaces where indicated. These procedures may take a long time to complete, so be very patient. Type exit when done, press ENTER and restart the computer.

  If you get a recheck of 87 error response the command you entered.

  Please download a copy of the DISM log as a file shared to your OneDrive and post a link here.

  You may need to show hidden files. Use the hotkey Win + X to access control panel, Folder Options, and then select Show advanced settings. Check the box to "show files and folders" and 'Hide protected operating system files' are unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second element. You should also make sure that the box before "Hide extensions of known file types" is not checked.

  In most cases, this error message is caused by one or more broken links to the assets of overlays. Select different overlay images in your document and look for a yellow triangle in the overlays Panel.

  Hi CP.

  I had a quick glance at this and have successfully recorded a script. You must enable the Force HTTP check in tools-> preferences-> registration-> Oracle EBS/forms load OpenScript. Then save your script - you should be good to go.

• Scrollable content article gets [Error: Invalid asset location]

  I'm trying to create a timeline of product contained large scrollable.

  The contents of the layer "Scrollable content" is 3024 x 600

  Content is grouped text boxes and picture

  Framework of container on layer 1 is 975 x 600

  Content and Containerhave the same name and are aligned on the left edge

  When I update the folio I get the following error:

  Content generation error

  [Error: Invalid asset location]

  Trying to get a glimpse into the Office Viewer Gets the same error.

  Looking at the links tab, there is no missing files or spotted, and all the files exist in the folder of the links in the article.

  What I'm missing here?

  This is an obsolete method to scroll the content.

  Use existing tools and creator of the superposition of the scrollable content.

• Advanced Question - Show actions, movement can hide an object

  I am a new user (Captivate 5) working on my second project so far, I really like Captivate and look forward to many activities within a Moodle course for test prep.  (the moodle is non-SCORM, so not worried about scores during the activity. The activity is only for practice)

  It is an activity of algebra and I 12 graphics on a slide. I placed 12 boxes to click on each graph (and named them CB1, CB2, etc..) My plan is to insert GIFS animated on the slide.

  When the student clicks on the CB1, four things must happen:

  (1) a caption text (TC1) appears which has information about the chart, the legend should remain for the rest of the slide.

  (2) an animated GIF is displayed (Anim1)

  (3) the GIF you need to walk a path (appearing to walk the path of the curve function)

  (4) and then I need the GIF to disappear

  I tried implementing a tip Action. I can do 1-3, but if I also includes 4, then the GIF never appears. (So I guess it is not waiting for 1-3 to occur before the end of the stage to 'hide'.) Any suggestion is appreciated!

  In troubleshooting, I found that I had more questions:

  I was wondering if a possible solution is to assign a location to the GIF?

  Another diagnosis: I found how to create a zig zag path and how to modify the path. Is it possible to add extra points to the path? And if I use a path within an Action in advance, I could not understand how to change the path?

  Since I use a neighborhood computer, I don't have the option to upgrade to CS5.5 ;(

  Thanks for the tip on the Micro-Navigation. I have not completely absorbed all this.  I find a way to make it work, although I think that I prefer the micro-navigation method.  But here's what I think I'll do:

  Each graph has a box to click with a fast action attached to it. So when the user clicks on CB1, the following actions take place:

  1 hide CB1

  2 show Anim1

  3. hide all other Anim

  4 Advanced for action at Anim1 who takes along the path that I want to. (So I have a saved custom effect for each Anim)

  5 v1 = 1 (I did variables for each box, see below...)

  I also created the variables with an initial value of zero.  I have a "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.

  I created an advanced conditional action:

  If all twelve variables = 1, then the student clicked on each box, so the button continue will lead to the next slide.

  Another THING: show a text box that says: "You must click on the graphics before you continue."

  One thing I noticed on the effects of paths/custom of movement:

  If I click on the CB and Anim moves along the way, the path is always dependent on the STARTING position of the ANIM. So, if I click on the credit card again, then Anim moves again, this time from where it left off and moving again. That's why I eventually decided to hide the CB after a click.

  Thanks for the tip to try Flash. It has been several years since I did flash, so still need to learn. But I agree show/hide and controlling the movements and places is better in flash. Still need to learn how to merge several documents of flash and Captivate the documents in a presentation, but I don't know it's possible.  Captivate is easy to learn because I learn some very basic flash several years ago. (Then I had a Flash on my computer work for several years and I forgot everything!)

  Thanks again for the two Seraphim! I intend to learn Flash and micro-navigation soon, because they make it easier!

• Transform questions of Action after that image returned vertical

  I automate an action sequence that does the following:

  (1) changes the perspective of an image (transform-> perspective-> drag one of the corners to the top).

  (2) duplicate this layer

  (3) reverses the layer vertically (transform-> flip vertical)

  (4) change the layer vertically returned.

  When I do it manually, it works very well and there is no problem.

  When I read the record, the result of step 4 is of what it's like when did anything in his hand and the location of the image and the perspective is totally not what I expect.  (See the image below for a Visual description of what I see).  My guess is user error :-)... Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm totally stumped.

  You can try one of the following and see if it meets your needs.

  If you just want to return the layer so that it corresponds to the first layer, you could do something like this:

  1. duplicate the layer.

  2 edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal.

  3 edit > Transform > Flip Vertical.

  4. move the layer in the position.

  

  

  If you want (need) to have a different perspective on reverse layer, so you may need to

  either convert to smart object (as you found above) or rasterize the layer (layer >)

  Dynamic objects > rasterize)

• Question - Error Message - OfficeJet 4500 OSX 10.9.3 - HP Office G510g scanning

  I have search the internet looking for a solution and tried * several * suggestions. Were unable to analyze for a few months and I'm hopeful that you have the miracle cure. Sometimes, I connect on the side Mac and sometimes I reboot and log on the side (on my Mac) PC with Windows 7. It happens with two operating systems - the OfficeJet 4500 will not scan. I use Image Capture on the Mac partition. I use the scanning utility when using my Mac as a PC with Windows 7 HP. A couple of months, I have spent many hours (literally) with a HP technician (a couple of them!) and we couldn't do anything else than give an error message. New drivers do not help. Can you suggest something else? Thank you.

  Update! Shortly after this announcement (such as minutes), I saw an announcement on how to reset the scanner bar and that was the problem! I am now and scan and grateful for the greasy68 of the display. Feels so good to have my scanner back! Life is good.

  1. how to get mode without failure:

  Shut down your computer > turn back to him and immediately and repeatedly tapping the F8 key until you see a black and white screen. The top/down arrow and select Safe Mode.

  Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
