asa5520s load sharing

Greeting

I configure Active/active failover on two boxes.

but, it looks like two active/standby add now. (for subnet 1 go to the first asa5520 and traffic subnet 2 second go to asa5520).

If possible, configure a subnet share the load on the two asa5520s? If so, how can I do it?

Comments will be apprecaited

Thanks in advance

Product sheet ASA5520 stipulates a flow rate up to 450Mbps and for its 225Mbps vpn, so when you create the solution, you should consider the existing network installation and also the volume of future growth.

In your case, it's a multi context configuration, so it will not VPN, support dynamic routing, so you need not worry about the use of these features in the future.

However, sometimes you may experience heavy traffic / firewall uses of the resource due to some malwares or show WILL scan through the firewall

To avoid this kind of situation,

Configure the firewall to perform anti-spoofing, prevent back attacks by limiting / control the concurrent connections/sessions.

Here is a link for Cisco to prevent network attacks.

Realize that Oracle provides the PATCH of the DATABASE for different versions of the OS & if you apply the patch to the database for the version of Solaris on a HP version.

    then the problems will result.

If sqlplus worked without error before applying the patch & now ENDIAN error reports, problem exists between keyboard and Chair!

    1. make sure that you have installed the correct version of GoldenGate. The part number for Oracle 11 g (edelivery.oracle.com) is 26188, not 26187 (99.99% sure this is the exact reason for your error).

    2. launch GGSCI in the installation directory (even if you can boot from outside this directory, you need to address LD_LIBRARY_PATH and some other brain damage).

3 make sure that your OS GoldenGate username is at least a member of the group that belongs to your Oracle software owner (for example, owner is oracle, group s/n, so make sure your owner member of dba).

    4. from the prompt of your OS, it seems you are using oracle, but in this shell session, is your Oracle environment squared away (ORACLE_HOME and SID, for example)?

  • error while loading shared libraries

    Hello

I'm starting with Berkeley. So, in order to learn how to use it, I decided to follow the guide getted starting with Berkeley (c++ version).

When I compile the very first example (creating a DB class) with a small main application in dynamic link I do something like this:

    --------
    do
    g ++ o MyDb.o - c MyDb.cpp - W - wall - ansi-pedantic
    g ++ o to main.c MyDb.o - I /users/n349069/BerkeleyDB.4.7/include-L /users/n349069/BerkeleyDB.4.7/lib-D_GNU_SOURCE-D_REENTRANT /users/n349069/BerkeleyDB.4.7/lib/libdb_cxx-4.7.so

But when I try to run my program, I get this error:
    -------
    . / find
. / find: error while loading shared libraries: libdb_cxx - 4.7.so: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

As you can see, my install of Berkeley is in a personal directory. Is that what the problem is for this reason?

How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you for your help

    Hello

I try but... nothing changes. I try to do this:
    ------------
    command prompt: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/users.n349069/BerkeleyDB.4.7/lib

To set the environment variable, please use the 'export' in this way: "export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/users.n349069/BerkeleyDB.4.7/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH". To see if it is set successfully, please use 'env' to see a list of all environment variables and check the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable in the list.

  • Load sharing on both servers transferred to a single server behavior

If I have 2 servers acting together host virtual machines (shared resources) and have a large number of hosts in a HA cluster, what happens if a server goes down and HA transfers the load on a server? To be clear, the load was distributed between 2 servers before the failure, but after the failure that one server is left to take in charge most of the load. VMware stop only on himself, or if it lights only machines it is possible until resources have been exhausted? I have intention test cela all this, but would like to know if someone ran into the situation as a whole yet.

If I have 2 servers acting together host virtual machines (shared resources) and have a large number of hosts in a HA cluster, what happens if a server goes down and HA transfers the load on a server

Nope, you can FIND ALL the virtual machines on a single server, server resources are not shared.  That's why it reserves the amount of space on a server, in the case of the other server goes down, there is the extra resource to adopt the rest of the virtual machine.

To be clear, the load was distributed between 2 servers before the failure, but after the failure that one server is left to take in charge most of the loading

    That's what will happen.

  • Comments cannot load shared files...

... an HTML component in a CAA AIR connected AIR app.
OK this is sort of weird, I'm not sure someone already try this one :), I explain:

We are working on an Air application which can share a 'file type '...
To view this file type in the Air, you must load it into an HTML file and view it in a HTML element (HTML frame component Air, and it's to display PDF file...).
Someone sends a file, and other participants receive the url of the file.
URL of the file is built with: sharedFileDescriptor.url + sharedFileDescriptor.name...
When I'm logged in as owner, no problem, everything works simply, and my charge of component HTML the remote control of the file (in the folder FileManager on AFCS folder) and display it correctly in the component HTML (who use acrobat reader to display what ' file type' :)).
    But there is the problem:
Only users registered as owners can load it properly. When the guests are connected to the room and try to load the file, even if the room.autoPromoteUsers is set to true, loading component HTML "Acrobat Connect HTML error page", which explains that the room is not active...

    Any ideas?

    Hello
I got the chance to run the App provided Rick and go into the depth of it. Here are my findings
    (a) the problem is not dev console. When you change the configuration to a group of files using the dev console it really change the configuration, it's just that the UI is not being updated which was already fixed and will be updated in the next drop-down list.
    (b) example of Rick don't work it's because to not use the chip value in navigateToUrl. If you look at the download of the FileSubscriber function adds the file url + name + token to send the URLRequest. The server check is if you own, it will let you pass otherwise you must have the token with you (see according to download FileSubsriber.as how to create the token).
    (c) even if you spend the full url that is the file url + name + token, navigateToUrl function still has some problems for customers, we are looking at that. However, you can get the downloaded file as image (or any uploadé file) using any class of the Image or the charger since you have the correct URL. I copy example rick update with the changes, you must make that runs in the case of the image.

For the next version which will be coming in a few weeks, we intend to give users a new parameter in class FileDescriptor containing the full Url, so that you don't have to do the concatenation work urself. Also, we will try to get this navigateToUrl issue resolved for the guests.
Here are some things you can do now, if you use the FileSubscriber and the instead of the FileShare Pod itself FilePublisher, just call the fileSubscriber.download function. However, if you use FileShare as in the example of rick, you need to perform the concatenation with token and use the loader class (or image if its a picture) to get the file.

I enclose the code of rick with this response that will make things clearer. Information, if you create the FileShare pod in the code, the node that is created is default_FileSharePod which is the default FileShare sharedID. Thus, its always best to have fileShare a sharedID when you create (as in my attached code) and call to sign up on it as a best practice.

Please let me know there are problems.

  • How to load the shared entities

Hello guys! I did experiments with Chargeback manager for awhile, but I have a question. So far, I have seen that with Chargeback manager, it is very easy to calculate the cost of features in a virtual infrastructure (for example, ESXi, VM etc) based on several cost models.
But what happens when we talk about shared resources? For example if a (BU) Business Unit uses an ESXi server, it is very easy to load than BU. You have created a cost report that ESXi and you present to the BU.

But when, on the other hand, you have DRANK using the same things that ESXi (for example a mail server) can become more complicated. You can still find the cost of this ESXI, but how will you allocate this cost on the BU who use this server? For example, divide the cost by the number of BU? Or divide the cost by the number of BU take the consideration of the number of users in each BU... etc...

So the question is, if Chargeback Manager has additional features that could help this process...

    Bravo!

    Hello

Yes, but the function is only limited to virtual machines directly added to a folder of chargeback hierarchy. Chargeback has an option to share a VM on records (i.e. from Business units). Please refer to the user guide for "sharing cost of Virtual Machine.

For now, you need to calculate the percentage of shares according to the criteria (number of email users) for a virtual computer and use this Chargeback percentage manually.

    Kind regards
