Aspire 7750G cannot recognize blank DVD + rw

Hello

I have a aspire 7750 G with a DVD super Multi DL drive. When recently I tried to burn some files on a blank DVD I noticed that my laptop does not recognize the DVD. First I thought that the problem was with the Manager of combustion, so I tried another, but still it does not recognize the DVD. I also tried another blank DVD, but it would not recognize this one either.

Does anyone knows how to solve my problem? (If I use a DVD not empty there no problems)

Thank you

PS Sorry for my bad English

Hello!

I knew someone who had the same problem with a desktop PC. It turns out the optical drive was really fussy on the disks were used!

If the disc you have is a + R or + RW then indicate a-r or RW - or vice versa. Sometimes some brands may not work in your drive too, so you may need to try a few different types to see what works for you!

If you still cannot operate, the drive itself may be at fault and will need replacement.

  • DVD burner does not recognize blank DVDs, but will recognize blank CD?

I read through several similar messages, but none seem to have a solution to my problem.  I'm NOT very technically savvy, so this is as much I know:

    I have a Dimension E310

It was supposed to come with a cd burner and a dvd burner combo.

The reader says DVD R/RW RW DVD rewritable Compact Disk its Ultra Speed

I was able to successfully burn CDs from itunes, but have not been able to burn any kind of video file.  In fact, when I insert a blank dvd in the drive, the computer does not recognize that everything is there.

As I said, I'm not the person most computer savvy in the world.  I know how to work with my applications, but I know little about the way in which a computer is set up, so I apologize in advance if my question is ignorant, but I appreciate any help you can give.  Thank you in advance.

  • DVD player does not recognize blank DVDs.

I think that my drive can write to DVDs, but it doesn't even recognize empty (when I go into my computer after burst in, nothing doesn't appear). The disc seems to turn for a few seconds, then stops. He can read the previously empty DVD that had something serious on it by someone else. Research online I found that the problem is very common.
In the properties of the drive, it says disc SAMSUNG HD160JJ/P and HL-DT-ST DVDROM GDRH10N CD dvd/drive under hardware. I'm pretty sure he can write, but I could be wrong.

  • Reader SuperDrive does not recognize blank DVD

Have recently upgraded to El Capitan. Since then, I tried to export photos on the drive to put in stock and my DVD burner in my iMac 12.1 will recognize is no longer the DVD when entered into the burner. What is happening now is that the DVD is sitting there for a few moments and then is ejected. It's almost as if the DVD recorder is headed south. Don't know what to do from here, because it reads the CD and DVD normally and also formats and burn the CD. Just DVDs. and I have tried 1/2 dozen of them does not.

But as the CDs and DVDs use different lasers inside the car it is not uncommon for a failure and the other to work again.

  • DVD - RW no longer recognizes blank DVD media

My DVD - RW Phillips will burn on a CD - R, but will not burn on DVD.  Also it will not read the CD - R or DVD - R most recent, I was able to do a year ago.  When I insert a blank disc and try to burn a DVD (it will burn to CD - r), I keep getting error messages that there is no disc in the drive. I checked the Device Manager and it says that the device is functioning properly and I checked for updated drivers, but he said there was no update needed.

Also, my Sony CD - R will read CD - R, but not burn them more.  DVD problem is recent, the problem of CD - R has been around for some time, but I said just using the DVD burner to burn my CD - r instead.

    Here are my computer specs:

    Dimension 9100
    Intell 4 CPU 3 GHz

    Processor 2.92

    512 MB OF RAM

    Windows XP Professional version 5.1.2600

    CD-ROM/DVD-rom-Philips DVD +-RW DVD8701

CD - Sony CD - RW CRX217E (it only reads, does not burn)

(drivers both show up to 5.1.2535)

I use them to save the jpg photos.  When doing so, I just use the windows provided "highlight, right-click - Copy to 'E', copy disk" implemented.  Very easy and (usually) simple and reliable.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Satellite A30 CDRW DVDRW (Mat * one) drive cannot recognize any dvd

    Hello!
    I am owner of a Satellite A30-303 with an optical drive MAST * A UJ811 (CD-RW-DVD-RW).
Everything works perfectly until last week the player ceased to play any DVD. Appears in an error message saying that there is a problem with E/S. CDs are recognized without problems however.
I tried to find any updated drivers for the DVD driver but I just could not.
Please someone have an idea of what this might be and how to solve?
    Thank you!!
    Alex

    Hello

On this path it is always not simply to say what may be the problem. As written littco check if there is some virus or any kind of malware. It is also possible that there is a technical problem and the reader can not calibrate on the right track.

I put really know what you mean with E/S, but you can try to remove the device from Device Manager, and then restart the device. The last thing you can try is to reinstall the unit using the recovery CD. On this way, the unit will be absolutely clean. If the problem persists, obviously there is a malfunction and the drive needs to be replaced.

By the way; have the same opinion as littco.

  • Why do a DVD/CD-RW-ROM does not recognize blank DVD - RW disc?

I have a DVD/CD-RW Drive SOHC-5235K who can born CD without any problem, but when I put a DVD - RW to burn a large file, the system and no matter which burning application that I use ask me all the time to introduce a recordable in the drive disc. I applied all the patches that are available without success. The file I want to burn requires between 4 and 6 CD ordinary, while I only need a DVD to copy. I've removed the filters in the registry, ran all patches automatic, verified that the drive appears in the system as it is recordable, updated the driver. Is there anything else I can try? I get this error when you try to copy files to a blank DVD.  I am trying to drag and drop files into the dvd player and after a small roar, the dvd ram drive stops and the error message.  Then the drive no longer recognizes blank dvd inside.  I am running Vista 32 bit and my dvd ram is a matshita dvd - ram uj880as ata.  I tried to switch to the microsoft 'FixIt' site, but the problem is not resolved.  I think that the report mentioned that the reader could recognize not writable or something to that extent.  The player can play DVDs fine, however.  Is there a solution to this problem by replacing the dvd ram drive?

    Hello

Have you tried to close all programs and then insert the disc to see what is happening? Try a slower
speed or mastered format. Have you added any burning new software lately - these tend to compete
for resources and can interfere with each other.

Should which CD or DVD format I use?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/which-CD-or-DVD-format-should-I-use

    ====================================

You have disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read).
Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

CD have a tolerance + - and you can write on the outside edge.
