• HP Support Assistant has stopped working

  HP ENVY Phoenix h9 - 1420t CTO desktop PC

  For some unknown reason, HP Support Assistant has stopped working. I noticed that the large taskbar icon had disappeared.

  I tried to run the program just out of curiosity. "HP Support Assistant has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works properly... "etc. It is reproducible. The program does not start.

  So, I tried to uninstall in Control Panel of. It seems to start to uninstall, but then I get an error message. "Error 1316 a network error occurred trying to read the file C:\windows\Installer\HP support Assistant.msi" when I click "OK" it cancels. This is also reproducible.

  I tried to download the software again from HP: sp64126.exe I accept the license agreement and moving forward. I get a message that files already exist and I want to overwrite all or not. Matter of INo I choose, nothing happens. The installation window simply disappears and I'm at square one.

  Windows is fully updated. I use Norton Intertent security 21 - fully implemented to date.

  I solved this on my own. HP has a Recovery Manager installed on my system [search---> Recovery Manager] and aid that allowed me to reinstall just this software from my hard drive recovery partition. Very cool!

  I use the software OverDrive media console for years to download and listen to audio books from my local library. After the most recent update of windows 7 and the media console, I can transfer is no longer my audiobooks on my ipod. I've updated everything! When I click on the button transfer everything seems as it should. Then a box comes up and says "transfer Assistant has stopped working windows is looking for a solution..." I uninstalled and reinstalled the OverDrive and iTunes without success.  Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated.

  I tried to use the new import feature in Notes to migrate my Evernote notes, a few days ago. The file .enex was is about 3.3 GB in size. I left the import to run on my Mac (MacBook Pro 13 inch Mid 2012-2, 5 Ghz, 16 G of ram) and it crashed on importation, after about 1/2 way through. I restarted the importation, which seemed to work fine, but now I got duplicates appear. Notes has also been incredibly slow at this point, I decided to delete the imported notes.

  Not my wisest move. My other devices had already begun to synchronize the new notes (ipad 2 and iphone 5 s) and quickly ran out of space. The "Recently deleted" folder appeared with more than 3,000 tickets inside. I tried to unplug the icloud Notes, but the damage had been done.

  I've restored my phone again. I turned off sync icloud for Notes on all my devices. I went on the site from icloud, and when I run the application Notes it takes nearly 15 minutes to load, if it does not crash the browser in the process. I threw the .plist and Notes container file in the Recycle Bin on my Mac. So, currently I have hours and hours of spinny wheels colored if I try to use the Notes, and nothing seems to sync. I borked some database are my Notes.

  How can I start from scratch? I think I can save the few actual notes I got there until I tried the import and can Evernote stuff is still safe. (I tried import as an experiment, and I am so happy that I have not a not cancel my account!)

  I have the same problem, and I've had it for months.   Each update of iOS and OSX, I'm waiting for a solution.   This Evernote import thing was obviously demi-cuite and should never have to consumers.

  Funny that Apple was clearly trying to be more competitive with Evernote and in the process made me depend exclusively on Evernote.   The Notes app is unusable.   Absolutely no comment or troubleshooting or fixed to Apple.

  My colleague just compressed a flex project and sent it to me. I'm trying to get it set up in my own Eclipse/FlexBuilder and could sure use a little guidance, because I am new to all this.
  
  First of all, to create a new Eclipse workspace for this project?
  Then what? The file | Import function requires that I have create a 'new project '. But if I create a flex project, it creates a whole bunch of files that will be just too written when I unpack the * real project. Which will damage probably someone from the project.
  If, instead, I create a new project and import into that, well, what kind of project can we establish?
  And where to point my workspace directory? Anywhere seems to do, but should it point to the place where I unzip the files of real project?
  
  And finally, is there documentation that covers these basic mechanisms? This seems far far far more complex it is, and a simple explanation of the new configuration and project Eclipse/Flex exlisting would be a great help.

I have found none.  Some images that I feel are either HDR images or possibly another feature I haven't identified, appear almost everytime I plug my iPhone 6 (fully updated) on my iMac.  I've been manually delete them after you import Photos, but it's boring and all simply, it shouldn't happen. Most of these problem photos was that I saved text messages, that is, they have been taken by someone else on an iPhone and sent a text message to me. I found that a few images very, very old stopped appearing as 'new '.  The problem currently extends to images taken in January 2016 (4-5 months).  Old images that one used to behave this way decided to leave appear as "new".  Apple, if you're reading this, please assign someone to look into the issue. If anyone has a way to get it to stop, please speak.  Thank you.

  The first thing you need to do is to completely uninstall HPSA.  Then, use the version appropriate for your computer listed here.

  I suggest to use Revo Uninstaller to remove HPSA.  It will remove the HARD disk as well as all the remains of the BIOS.  I use the FREE version.  The advanced option is best to remove the entire application.
