• Assistance needed with Custom Transaction

  I don't know if this is possible or not, but I would be very grateful for any help anyone can offer.

  I wish to have a couple of drop down fields in form following a table after you select a choice from the drop-down list fields, it uses the data selected in the fields in the form to run a query that will empty the existing table and insert new records.  Although I intend to do it on more than one field, I just try on a unique fields for the moment.

  I use a Cusatom Transaction, because I believe that this will allow me to enter SQL which will perform more than one task.  My understanding of this is correct?

  The following code attempts to remove all existing records in the table, then insert new records.  However, an error pops up when I click the button to insert the record.  It seems that the SQL do not remove and insert consecutively in the same custom transaction.

  Is this possible, and if so, can anyone advise me how to do this.  My current SQL code as part of the operation is: -.

  REMOVE TempAspirationalRole.* FROM TempAspirationalRole;

  INSERT INTO TempAspirationalRole

  The event has class sessions all day (3 days). I would like the page happening now to show what classes are going on right now and what is coming up next. I was hoping just to separate configuration files and load them when necessary, but open to all suggestions.

  PHP has a powerful set of date and time functions.

  To do this is to create a DateTime object and then use conditional logic to include the files you want. A better way would be to keep the details in a database and use the time to retrieve and display the details you want.

  A DateTime object using:

  First of all, I have my apologies to re-post this topic, but I didn't help I need the last time I asked, probably because I didn't clearly what my problem was. So here goes...

  What I need is for some genius here to show me how the average amount of N of waveforms. I am able fluctuations of current in a specific time window (this depends on the amount of samples and of course sampling rate that I use).

  Currently, I record quantity N of waveforms (time series), but what I want to do is only to record an average undulating, e.g. n1 + n2 + n3/N (N = 3).

  I gave it a go using a loop, but it didn't give me the results I want (I know what's the problem with him, but don't know how to produce the waveform on the average).

  In summary to be as clear as I can be,

  (1) I am recording N waveforms of the DAQ Assistant

  (2) I want to collect in a queue and then take the average of the N wave

  (3) save the medium wave to my function write.

  Attached are 2 versions of LabView to my project.

  I would really get this spot and exploit this week if possible and would be very grateful for help in changing my vi.

• Help needed with two new HHD to RAID 1 PERC 6 / i integrated controller

  We have a client that has an out of warranty PowerEdge T610. On the Dell OpenManage Server Admin, I can see that he can see my 1 RAID PERC 6 / i integrated controller. On one of the controllers, we have a RAID 5 that has 4 discs dedicated to a data store (drive D), we two discs devoted to the Windows SBS 2008 (drive C) operating system on RAID 1.

  When we look at the server, I have physical disks located in:

  Our drive D data store:

  • 0:0:0
  • 0:0:1
  • 0:0:2
  • 0:0:3

  Our reader C found in:

  • 1:0:4
  • 1:0:5

  We just added two new hard drives for RAID 1 based on the conversation we had with Dell, they recommended that we can try from C data to the new larger disks. When to Dell Open Manage looking at the physical disks on the PERC 6 controller / i integrated, I can see that it has detected two new 500 GB SATA drives that the client installed. However the tasks available do not allow me nor their format to use as they appear in the management of the computer as a disk that is available for use. Is there something that we are completely absent here?

  I already have them deleted once as I didn't know if they should be formatted to be recognized, but in the computer management disk management they don't even appear at all.   PERC does not support non RAID... you can just throw the discs and use them. You'll need to set up and initialize a new RAID array with the readers. It is not a task of "physical disk", therefore in OMSA, go to the page of the virtual disks and click the new link Wizard of VD at the top of the page to create a new VD of the BONE.

• Getting started with planning

  I know it's important to plan before starting, but I have questions on how to go about the project until I can plan.

  (1) I want to create objects of learning in mathematics where I show how to use a problem on the left side of a page (with Adobe Capture) and the student works a similar problem on the right side of the page. My slide show that shows my work can appear just left?  Or is the video always come in the middle of the screen.  Would be nice if the student could pause the production while working on their problem and see my slides and their work.

  (2) in addition, I would like to create a word template and make merger and mailing for all the statements of different problem, where I can easily do a lot of presentations for the problems.  Should I just do it in Word and use a table where I work on the left and the student works on the right?

  (3) should I put my word document in the paint and make handwritten portion it and save there?

  (4) at the end of the day, I have these problems and presentations in Microsoft OneNote and the student can write their solutions on the right and keep what they have done.

  (5) during the work, the student performs, for example in a step by step, I want to fill in the blank quiz questions so that we can check their answer before proceeding to their solution.  The questionnaire slides can be formatted so they look quite so much like 'quiz like '?

  Hi Betsy. We have a lot in common. I build a math course and I love OneNote as well.

  Here's how I'd do...

  1 small devices would not give the student a lot of space to work, so instead of run both side by side, I would use a button that can link the student to a diffenet Captiavte file that would have the step by step procedure. This will allow them chose whether they want and the two windows that will allow them plenty of space and the work would not need to be so small that the device size shrinks. Jim Leichtler has a Javascript that you can place on the first page of the step-by-step procedure that will allow you to customize the url to go to a specific slide automatically. This will allow the student work independently and just at the point where they need help he can click the link on their workspace then the new window with the walkthrough can launch and it goes exactly to this place in your example (design of your sample will be important so it is possible, but it's doable).

  2. I don't know exactly what you are trying to do in 2, so I don't know what to argue it. More details?

  3. I found that doing the workthroughs with Captivate standard editing tools is much, much better in many ways to a screenshot.

  The benefits for you - you can fix it more easily, it is easier to connect directly to another and more. It takes a little more time in the game as the record on the screen, but the benefits largely outweigh the time factor.

  For your student - you can make them interactive instead of sit and watch. This will lead to them and that they can get feedback understanding of Captivate at some level that you feel, they need.

  4. my guess is that you are wanting to use the ability of OneNote 2010 to allow students to work in form handrwitten and drawing, but also use the math equation tools which are built in. I have that separately acceding when students don't miss a problem and you want to see their work to find out why.

  -OneNote is now free and available on the Mac too. Woohoo! I plan on kicking to the top of my already inveterate of it to a new level of use with my students. However, the new version of Mac does not hand drawing capabilities yet or still has the mathematical equation tools. My guess is that your school has provided all students with OneNote 2010, which has all of these features. If you end up spending to the new OneNote has yet not the drawing functionality, Skitch is greate to do the drawing and then the chart can easily be embeded in the new OneNote. Yes, I know that Skitch made by Evernote, a OneNote SL3. Skitch is great, but I'm spoiled again a OneNote 2010 to feel the need to switch to Evernote. I'm happy for the competition between the two because both apps remain eager to outdo the other. We win as users of applications that any application you use.

  5. I've never used questionnaire Captivate Slides. I like to make my own. Many of the interactions are quite capable of reports as responses to the rating. Just look in the properties panel for the checkbox control, indicating the activity of note. What level of math you generate? We should get together and compare notes as we both much the same type of project.
