Hello all, I need help please the audio driver no sound, video and Game Device Manager, just updated the windows but no change, please help, thanks
Gentian01, welcome to the forum.
When a help request, you must always include the make and model (e.g., p6-xxxx) of the computer or the monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications for them.
Before you answer, I suggest running Windows Update to see if that solves your problem. Otherwise, you should go to control panel / sound and check the settings to make sure that they are correct.

ASUS ACPI Driver missing, where did it go and how do I get it back?
Just installed Win8 on an ASUS eee pc T101MT. Now I get a pop-up window, "missing ASUS ACPI Driver. Please install Asus ACPI Driver". My Google skills miss me, I can't find this driver anywhere. Help :(
I had the same issue on my EP 121 and the fixed, just follow these steps:
Go to the System Manager
Select Device Manager
Click with the right button on ACPI utility
Select Update driver and allow to download and install
Restart the computer and go to your desktop, the problem should be solved
I hope this helps everyone, it's a pretty simple solution really
If this does not resolve your particular issue, I suggest that you follow the same steps and try and update all other ACPI drivers as well because there is a little.

tried to clarify some of my options in "run" and I have not typed msconfig startup required and I made a few small changes and now an error message is popping up saying "asus eee pc acpi service has encountered a problem and needs to close" and it keeps popping up. So I went back after it rebooted and has defeated the changes and restarted again and it the error message keeps coming back!
Hello, Gina Cecchetelli,.
The error message and the event log indicates that the problem is related to the ACPI driver. I suggest you reinstall the ACPI driver and check if you have the same problem. Here is a link I found on the Asus website support to download the ACPI driver:
Note: Install the driver requires professional help. I suggest you to contact Asus to help you best in the installation of the drivers.
You may also need to update the Chipset drivers. You can contact Asus to help you with this:

Re: Satellite A105-S2194 a audio driver missing or corrupt
I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A105-S2194 that somehow lost its audio driver. He worked week last and then this week his party.
I uninstalled and reinstalled as the help and support on the computer Center said to do, but to no avail.
I have also re-uploaded the driver on the Toshiba site and he says always "No. Audio Driver" or pop up this error message "Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) ».
I have no idea why I can't get the sound to work.
It says downloading, but when I go back it shows an error.Anyone with a few useful insite would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance :)
Hello
I don't have any idea of what windows operating system you have, but it is a series of Toshiba laptops, we and the necessary drivers are located on the Toshiba U.S. page.
http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jspHere you can download the latest version of the driver.
In addition, I recommend the deletion of the soundcard from the Device Manager and restart the laptop. If the audio driver has previously been installed correctly then the Windows operating system should recognize the sound card again and the sound should work.
PS: If you are using Win XP then you need to install SP3 * _avant_ * you need to install the sound card driver

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.
After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

(c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.
(d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

Satellite U400 (PSU44E) - ACPI ATK0100 Kernel Mode Driver missing
Satellite U400-17V (PSU44E)
I received my upgrade of Windows 7 at Toshiba with the included DVD upgrade. I did everything exactly what is said in the booklet.
After completing the upgrade process and after turning on the laptop I got the message saying:
Can not find an ACPI ATK0100 Kernel Mode driverWhat should I do?
Best regards
Tan TuncHello
I started a thread on the same subject:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=126340So for me it sounds like this, you should try to reinstall Windows again. After that, the problem should be solved.
Search with Google, you can find enough discussion about it. Reinstalling Windows can solve this problem.

No audio driver after go back to Windows XP (SP3)
I bought this laptop a few years ago and since then, set to update from XP (initially installed OS), for Vista and Windows 7, and now because of a problem that I had with the Dell drivers I put just go back to XP so I can find the drivers I need.
After I installed XP, I noticed I had no option of volume in the lower right corner, and happens whenever I get an alert that old school beep BIOS that I have no control over its volume.
Whenever I turn on the laptop I get a Wizard "new hardware found" and when I told it to install the equipment she ends up saying "an error occurred during the installation of the device. A device attached to the system does not work.
He is trying to install the IDT High Definition Audio Codec, but fails every time.
I also tried to make the Microsoft Hotfix, but every time I do it says something like "the update that you are trying to add is older than your service pack" or something, but the thing is that I have TO install that update because I have no sound driver, and it seems that I can't add a.
When I run dxdiag I get this message in the tab "Sound".
"No sound card found. If one must, you must install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer"
It is a Dell Latitude D620 and was later that yesterday I was able to listen to music and watch videos above, now, I have no sound.
When I go to the support page for the Dell driver and try to install the audio driver (SIGMATEL R171789.exe driver) told me;
"ExitError:Error = device object not present, restart the system and rerun the Setup program.
I did it several times and it keeps just tell me the same thing over and over again.
I also put the XP disc and installed two times now.
Please, if anyone knows how to fix this please help me. A laptop without noise is basically useless for me.
I tried to be as accurate as possible and give as much information as I can, but if I missed something please tell me and I'll find.
Thank you.
The problem seems to be that, you you you OS reinstalled and neglected some intermediate steps before trying to load your audio driver. Follow the link below to see if it solves your problem.
Sorry for the link "ginormous".

I had to install a new hard drive because of a bad virus. I reinstalled windows xp service pack 3 but now seem to be missing audio drivers. I can't play any cd or dvd or any video of music stored on my pc etc. DELL INSPIRON 9400.
Help any one please, I'm not a magician to pc.
If you have reinstalled, you may have a few other drivers too (such as video).
In Dell's Support page, you can drill down, you're article Inspiron 4000 and find the drivers here:
http://support.Dell.com/support/downloads/DriversList.aspx?c=us&CS=19&l=en&s=DHS&ServiceTag=&SystemID=INS_PNT_CEL_4000&OS=WW1&OSL=en&CATID=&impid=I'm not sure which one you need for your system, so if you still cannot understand this, do this and maybe we can see what kind of audio device your system has:
Click Start, run and enter in the box:
Msinfo32
Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here.
For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.
For information about the audio drivers, expand components, click Sound Device, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.
There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.
