Windows 7 message Boot error message
Microsoft has recently made an update on my Windows 7. During the upgrade, Windows malicious software removed what she claimed it was a virus. That took place, I constantly get the message: "this file has no program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if such is already installed, create an association in the default program control panel. "The file that causes the problem is located in the Users\***\appdata\roaming\7d402\e52ee.4a4c23.
I am not in a position to determine what this file is located or what it relates to. I have tried to delete, but Windows then gives me an error saying that the file is not found. Can someone advise how I can understand what is the file or how can I stop Windows trying to load during the boot process?
Singh, I followed the procedure recommended you and it turns out that the file is a Microsoft Windows operating system startup file: this is the path to the file: C:\window\system32\cmd.exe /C start * * C:\users\paul gruen\appdata\roaming\7d402\e52ee.4a4c23.
I unchecked the box, and the error message disappeared. However, I don't know how this will affect my computer. So far, everything works fine.

Satellite M100-221 - PXE boot error message
Hello
I own a Toshiba Satellite M100 221 and when I turn it on it says
PXE e61 media test failure
Check cable pxe moF output
Intel boot agent
operating system not foundI downloaded a program called Hiren Boot Cd and I he burned on a Cd and then I ran it if the 221 m100, then I loaded Windows XP Mini. I went into my computer and I don't because my partition B called drive Ram Toshiba himself. Where is my C partition? What happened to my PC? I think that the hard disk is dead. Is it?
Hi lekhB,
> I think the hard drive is dead. Is it?
Is that the HARD drive is listed in the BIOS?If this isn't the case, it seems that the HARD drive is faulty, but in General, the PXE message means that an incorrect boot order is set.

I have been through many posts about this error (and others) all pointing to a failure with the \boot\BCD, all of the different error codes file. None of the provided solutions gave me a permanent solution.
The majority of responses indicate a HDD of aging / failing. However, I got this error on two different HARD drives with clean installs on both... twice. And I Chkdisk'ed together, and I had a PC Tech Shop guy will check no the two parameters. This error has occurred also in Win 7 and Win 10, so it's not version specific.
I have a theory, it's maybe be able to bound, either my food is cooked or the wiring. I don't know how to TEST this theory. Any ideas?

When I boot FireFox for Mac (OS x 10.6.8), the error message 'well, it's embarrassing... ' back to PAGE VIEW covering the menu, tools, docking station, office,. Clicking on a 2 error message options 'restoration' or 'close' doesn't work. Since I can't access options menu under the eyes (and pressing 'ESC' does not display page, my only option is to force quit FireFox. I downloaded a cool FF program, but the same thing happens. How can I fix when I can't access the menu or tools, etc. ?
PS. I'm going to use Safari to send this message.Well, it's boring.
On Mac, command + shift + f should toggle the display between the ordinary and full screen. Does it work?
If you can still access the menu bar, one of the Firefox settings file may be damaged. Try this, assuming you have the main toolbar:
Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
- type or paste everything: in the address bar and press enter/return
In the first table of the page, click on the button 'show in Finder '. This should start a new window listing the files and the folders.
Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output:
- "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.
Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

Error message @ boot Win 7 Pro "there was a problem starting C:\programdata\ofpviaowu.dat - the specified module could not be found."
This error message appears whenever I have start my computer and windows starts (Firefox doesn't start up). 15.01 Firefox work properly otherwise.
This started after I installed the 15.0.1 patch.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but the problem remains. Search Google for "ofpviaowu.dat" came with "2012-08-29 Firefox version 15 startup Crash Report" as the only listing.
Is this a Firefox problem?
My system has this file: C:\ProgramData\Mozilla\logs\. I don't think that Firefox or update service should write directly to the root of C:\ProgramData\. It could be a configuration error, or it could be completely different.
You may be able to remove your boot sequence problem .dat file using Microsoft Autoruns utility: Autoruns for Windows. If you find an entry, can describe you it?

Unmountable Boot Volume error message
Hello.
Monday, I bought Norton Internet Security 2007 and tried to install it. I was reading a word document while I was installing it. I received an error message and was prompted to restart Windows XP.
When I tried to reboot Windows XP. I received a message telling me an error that caused Windows stop. The message asked me to choose between:
1. safe mode
2 safe mode with command prompt
3. last know good configuration
4. start windows normally.
I chose "start windows normally".
MS Windows XP started normally for a few seconds then instead of my normally log on page, I got a blue screen with this message:
"A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
If this is the first time you've seen this error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again the following steps.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Clear options memory BIOS such as caching and shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press f8 to select the startup options, and then select Safe mode.
Technical information:
STOP: 0X00000ED (0X80E (1E30, 0XC000031, 0 X 000000000) "")
And then my computer stop, then restart in the same order.
IT keep repeating the sequence: ect ect error message security mode and then blue screen, shut down and restart. Again and mo matter which mode to choose. I went online looking for what is happening with my laptop (from a ready computer) and I still have the problem. I was told that I need to uninstall the software that caused the problem. My question is have I can uninstall the software when I can't reach journal window now and so the control panel?
I'm at my wits end. Help, please.
Hello
I don t know why but it seems that your master boot sector damage
You can try to access the repair console (boot from the original CD of windows, and then press R)
Then try using this command: chkdsk/p
This command should fix some sectors on the HARD disk. Maybe it helps. If not then you have to format the whole HARD drive and reinstall the new OS!

+ Intel UNDI, PXE - 2.0 (builkd 083) +.
+ Copyright (C) 1977-2000: Intel Corporation.+ For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.0.1.9(12/15/09) +.
+ Check the cable connection! +
+ PXE - MOF: exit Intel PXE ROM. +.
+ No boot device - insert boot disk and press any key.Can anyone any sense of the message above?
Hey Buddy,
This error message means that an incorrect boot order is set and the computer tries to start between LAN port to the internal HARD disk space. It should therefore go into BIOS setup and change the boot order. Put the HARD drive as the first boot device internal.
Take a look at this article from Toshiba:

I left my laptop alone and down for a few hours and when I'm back on him shows an error message in the windows Boot Manager.

File: \BOOT\BCD
Status 0xc000000f
Info: an error occurred trying to read the boot configuration data.Does anyone know how to deal with this, or this happened to anyone before?

HP 15-g020dx: I got an error message "operating system Boot Mode changed."
I had got an error message on the boot image and I came here, telling me to change the startup parameters to the legacy that I did, but I might be able to register the change because he could do nothing except "esc", which had to cancel the change type. What should I do?
Hello
When you change the boot mode and are then invited to enter a 4-digit PIN, there will be no display of the numbers that you type for security reasons - just type in the numbers and press ENTER.
Kind regards

While trying to solve a problem with IE 8, I have a problem trying to run a clean boot. When I start up I get a message on change in the config file. Click ok and sys config is displayed. Now, if I make a modification, OR not, I get an error message - "an access error was returned while attempting to change a service. You may need to log on using an administrator account to make the specified changes. "First of all I am logged on as administrator, secondly I get this error even when I select"normal start ". I used the clean boot before without problem. Any ideas? I am running win xp sp3. I started having problems after the sp3 upgrade.
Given that you are not using the standalone SP3 Installer AND since McAfee was working at the time of installation, that's what I'd do (well, I would do it only if I was almost 100% convinced there was no malware on my system):
1. download the McAfee removal tool.
2. download the installation file for the free version of Avira AntiVir.
3. download the standalone SP3 Installer.
4. download the standalone installer of IE8.
5. physically disconnect from the Internet.
6 turn off the automatic updates (temporarily).
7 uninstall McAfee.
8 run the McAfee removal tool to make sure that all other loose ends are supported.
9 Uninstall SP3.
10. run the system restore, select the before date SP3 has been installed.
11 uninstall IE8 (and IE7, if necessary). Reason: It is important to be at the level of IE6.
12 install the SP3. Reset.
13 Installing IE8. Restart twice.
14 install AntiVir.
15 re - connect to the Internet.
16. download and install the update of AntiVir.
17 go into Windows Update and install all post-SP3 SECURITY update (stay away from any optional object).
18 re-rockers automatic updates.
After the back if you need links to the downloadable.

Need to solve an Error Message 7B - blue screen of death/boot loop
Hey community,.
I need help. I'll try to find a way to resolve the error message on blue screen 7 b on a laptop HP Compaq 6710 b using XP, but he took trapped in a loop of boot BSOD and I can't access the command prompt to try to fix it. The situation is further complicated by the fact that the laptop has never been saved, and there is no XP discs for me to reinstall from.
Wipe the drive and starting over is not a huge loss, but I need instructions on how to do that, without being able to use the last good config or the factory restore to XP disks.
I'm sure that this information is on the internet somewhere, but the search engines sent me on a wild goose chase and I really hope I can solve this problem myself. I've only worked with Vista and need guidance on this.
If anyone knows what to do, Please HELP! Good karma coming your way!
Thank you

Usually, I get this error when you try to transfer a hard drive from one pc to another, or after replacing a motherboard. The problem is probably the chipset/mass storage drivers.
I had limited success by starting in safe mode and (re) install the drivers downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
Here is the link to help you: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3356622&taskId=135&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3356620&lang=en&cc=usI hope I helped!
