Audio connections on the back panel of XPS 8300

Audio connections can be found in the Installation Guide PDF differ from my XPS 8300.  The Guide of SU watch 6 connections (in 2 rows of 3) in the middle section (above the expansion card slots) who perform the following fintions;

The top (from left to right) row - connector Surround l/r Surround l/r rear connector, Center speaker connector

Row of the bottom (from left to right) - Microphone connector, front l/r output connector, Connector Line In.

My machine has 5 connections colored in the lower expansion slot, but I have no other document indicated which entry do.

Connections (running from left to right looking at the rear of the machine) are black, Orange, grey, green, blue.

Can someone tell me what color does that work?

Thank you very much

OldKingCole,

Black = line 4. Connect the rear left and rear inputs right on analog speakers
Orange = line 3. Connect the inputs before central and subwoofer on analog speakers
Gray = line 2. Connect the inputs left and right on analog speakers
Green = line 1. Connect the inputs front left and front right analog speakers or headphones
Blue = entry. Performs a function of two in one, take over the input connections microphone and Line In

At some point during the configuration of the device from Realtek, ATI device disappeared from the control panel. Since then, I have found no way to adjust its properties, much less put on the control panel.

The only other change observed: formerly the computer sounds internal (startup, error, stop, etc.) remained internal. Now, I can hear them through the external speakers - acceptable but not optimal.

    Hello

Could you post back with the full or part no of your PC model No.  Also, could you confirm the operating system you are using.

Another thing to check is in the meantime.  Windows Control Panel, open Sound, right-click in an empty area of this window and check "Show disconnected devices" as «Show disabled Devices»  Another thing now appear?

  • Remove the back panel for Pavilion AIO 23Touch q012

How can I remove the back panel for Pavilion AIO 23Touch q012. I am wanting to upgrade my RAM. I had all the shots to come off, but there seems to be something in the Center which is not coming loose. There is a notch 'lock', but nothing to explain how to use it, it still means something to remove the back. All other indications I can find are for other models.

Visit the website of your PC/Laptop manufacturer, search reference number and download then install specific drivers XP audioo. Alternatively, if you have a CD with the drivers that came with your computer, install it from there.

    See you soon,.

  • Ethernet connection in the back of a HP Officejet Pro 8500

When I bought my printer 3 years ago, I NEVER thought that I would need a printer capable of wifi.  Surprise!

I thought I had read that you could buy wifi adapters to allow a wifi component.  Made a few calls and told me that there is no such thing.

A salesman asked if my 8500 had an Ethernet connection on the back.  I didn't, but when I got home, it is there, just at the edge of the printer, "Ethernet".  According to the seller at OfficeMax, I can connect an Ethernet cable from the printer to my router and which would allow me to use the printer with my laptop and the Droid Razr.  Yes?

So I just have to run a cable from the printer to the router and follow (I hope) on the orientation of the screen?

I know I have to download a printer on my phone app.

I have I am on the right track PATH out of it?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Monica

Yes, the connection to the network cable would allow you to print from your PC and phone (with an appropriate application).  After connecting search for a program under Start, all programs, HP, HP Officejet Pro 8500 and search for the file "printer setup".  Run this and select "add a new printer.

I solved the problem.  It was just a matter of push lines down and creating a larger space of work for each row of the audio.  Never had this problem at the time of AVID or FCP.  I appreciate your help!

  • Connection of the control panel LCD of Tecra TE2000

Have a problem with the entire monitor as there are two sets of cables from the lcd panel, we have a sockett and other two wires (black and white) are equipped with an individual connects the microphone. I tried to find a manual anywhere, but could not. Can anyone advice on this problem of mounting?

Where on the motherboard is the connector corresponding to these two wires?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

These two wires (black and white) belong to the WLAN antenna and must be connected to the wireless network card. For this model of laptop wireless network card is optional and I don't know if the card is inside.

Sticker WLAN is placed in the lower corner of your laptop?

  • Is it possible to limit the number of connections to the remote panel to a vi?

    Hello

I have an application that runs on a PXI RT system and I use the remote control to access. My license allows me to have several remote connections and it's ok that I sometimes need to open several remote panels at the same time.  However, I would like to limit the number of connections for a particular VI 1.  Is this something that can be done?

    Kind regards

    Patrick Lessnick

The way it can be done is to interview customers who are connected to the VI through a remote façade.  When you do that, you close the connection to anyone, but the first person who connected to the façade.  In this way, if someone is running the VI, no one else can connect.  Once they are made, someone else can then connect to the remote façade.  I created an example illistrates community this behavior.  You can find it here:

  • Network connections on the control panel

Running Windows 7.  You want to change a network connection name.  Help sought for "Rename network connection."  A link "Click here to open network connections" appears.  This link works and goes to everything in Control Panel > network connections.  However, when I go directly to the Control Panel, there is no such item in the list, only the network and sharing Center, which does not have an obvious way to display all the available connections, only the one in use.  Why is this and how do I solve this problem?  Thank you!

If I understand what you're asking about, go to control panel, go to network and sharing Center and click on the link in the left pane to "change the map settings.

That ends at the same place (network control and Internet\Network connections) you get to by clicking on the link in the help file.

You can go directly to "Network connections" by typing "ncpa.cpl" (without the quotes) in the start menu > Search box and press enter

  • Tap the wire of the damaged Panel: Dell XPS 15 9530

Hi, my XPS 15 9530 touch screen no longer works. The thread for the touchscreen that emanates from the display panel and goes into the motherboard seems to have burned to a point. I don't know why it burns all of a sudden. Is there a way I can change this thread without replacing the whole display unit?

Any help or suggestion is appreciated...

    Thank you

(ps: I m out of warranty)

Unfortunately, no - Assembly is melted and the adhesive.  It is very unlikely, you would be able to remove the glass without breaking, and even less likely you will end up with an Assembly of work when you re - assemble.

There are two possible causes - a wire shorted out of being crimped together is one.  A second would be a fault of power with the motherboard that has sent too much power through the cable and fact it is overheating.  You can consult the repair to a professional so that they can determine what happened before spending hundreds of dollars on a screen only to find out that you need to spend as much or more on a replacement of the motherboard as well.

  • detect connections of the remote panel?

Is it possible for my VI to "detect" when someone has connected with a command remotely, and asked the control?

I have a problem (because of the size and complexity of my VI I'm sure) that when a RP takes control, after a period of time, the main VI starts to slow down and begins to lose data (this comes from a TCP connection)!

I would like to know when a RP takes control and disconnect them automatically after a period of time (5 min?).  I know that there is a connection on the web page of publication delay, but it seems that come into play if 1 RP control and another actually demand.  I need to be able to limit the time to control a single RP.

    How about these functions?

If you look at the Help menu for 'Customer login' it is very useful.

Using the output of 'connection', you can index this table to obtain useful information on the current client.

You can then use a little logic timing to allow them to connect only for a specified time.

Then you deport 'em with 'close connection to the client.

  • What is the connections on the front panel for an E9180T, other responses does not apply?

I have an E9180T Pavalion, which I placed it in a box more grand for better cool (Diabilotek), but cancel it, HDD LED, Power LED, Reset Switch and power switch does not seem to match others listed so far. When hung using these pages the button restart gives me just a blank black screen. using the power to the bottom/Power switch that causes the system to boot normally.

This forum can now be cancelled, problem is resolved, these problems were caused by wires in the harness front of Diablotek. HDD LED wires are wired to the switch led Reset, the reset switch is connected to the power LED and the power led is connected to a Molex connector. It's a question that I will take with tem. Thanks for all your answers

  • Connection continues deleting Windows 10 Dell XPS 8300

    Hi all

I have problems with my Dell XPS 8300, I installed the new 10 windows a few weeks back and since the installation of connection to internet keeps falling.

My internet is with Virgin Media and I connect directly via an Ethernet cable to the router.

Said my Broadcom Netlink gigabit Ethernet network card

After doing some research I think my card is called BCM57788

    Thank you

I'm glad to hear that I am not on my lonesome.

I did as you did and downloaded the Intel scanner from their site. The only thing he told me was that I need a later version. INF file.

I also watched the page drivers Dell, which is not up-to-date. Intel reported the update is not listed, but there is a BIOS update, when I try to apply it, saying that it is older than the current version. Not very useful.

I'd install the Intel update but I'm not sure if it will work. There are a lot of guard, but not much reassure layouts.

On top of that, Dell does not do anything to see if my machine is able to win 10.

As usual, Dell are completely behind the curve on this.

  • How to switch to the display of the audio waveform in the source Panel

    I use 8.1.0 (81) first Pro CC 20141 on a PC.

I am a tutorial on Lynda.com and the version used in the video is not quite as up-to-date as mine.

They recommend clicking on the list of options in the tab of the Panel from the Source to switch to more specifically audio waveform display Insert and to the point-based dialogue in the audio.

Problem is, the list of options on the Panel of my Source does not include something audio waveform.

Am I missing something? They did it move? Or maybe I have the wrong tool selected (is that a context menu which changes according to what the tool is selected?)?

    Two other options:

-Right-click in the Source monitor, select view > Audio Waveform

-In the Source monitor, click the settings... key icon (on the bottom right) and choose the Audio waveform.
