Audio S7400N No. after update 8.1 Win

I have an old Pavilion Slimline S7400 which had 512MB of RAM and XP.   I have change the memory to 2 GB and then a clean installed 8.1 to win.  All is well except Win 8.1 does not see the audio.  Research in the device manager says that the audio is installed and working, and that the driver is the most recent.  Is this a driver problem or am I not activating something to gain?

Thank you.

Bill

Hi, Bill:

See if the W8.1 directly from Realtek driver installation works for you...

Accept the agreement. Download and install the driver first on the list of 32 bit, second on the list for 64 bit.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63001-63500/sp63408.exe

When the reinstallation of Chipset has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When he finished, restart the computer again and let windows to load completely for a few minutes before checking it in.

  • HP Pavilion dv7-6163: audio Beats went after update to windows 10

I've updated to Windows 10 and the Beats Audio that I had on my computer has completely disappeared. Now my speakers audio seems very low and has absolutely no low range. As an audiophile, this sounds like total garbage and I want Beats Audio back!

When I got hp forums said to check the section software and drivers website. When I found my specific computer model, the page said "this portlet unavailable." I don't know what to do or where to find the drivers for my computer model. If I'm screwed? Is there anyone out there with the same computer model than me who has Beats Audio for Windows 10 driver? I feel like I'm grabbing at straws here.

You haven't posted anything on your laptop model.
Also you says nothing about the video files you want to play.

Did you update all drivers and utilities on your laptop after the 8.1 of Windows upgrade?
If your laptop is Win 8.1 supported, you must pass the Toshiba drivers and tools as described in the installation instructions (you will find on the website of driver Toshiba)

By the way: I have similar problem hade a few years ago reading movie in DiVx format.

In any case, fixed the problem of driver Conexant by completely uninstall Conexant Audio ISST and re-install.

    Hello:

Yes, the Intel HD audio device that needs the Intel graphics driver reinstalled.

I propose this option to install the driver, because sometimes simply reinstall the graphics driver Intel does not work.

Download and install this free utility for files.  The file 2nd on the list is 64-bit.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7 - Zip, download and save, but do not run this driver Intel graphics from the support page of your laptop.

This package provides the Intel video drivers, control panel and display audio driver for the laptop models running a supported operating system.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp75501-76000/sp75984.exe

After you download the file of the graphics driver, right-click on it and select 7 - zip from the list.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and leave it to decompress the file in the file name (sp75984).

When this is done, go to Device Manager and click on the Intel HDMI audio device problem requiring the driver.

    Click the driver tab.

Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver 7-Zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC, and you should be able to get audio and video from the HDMI connection.

Miss me my wireless 5 GHz on my laptop, it's no longer on the list after that I updated to Windows 8.1

Anyone know what is the solution? I have contacted Netgear, and they said to contact Toshiba to try to solve the problem of driver for Windows 8.1

You updated the Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows such as advised by Toshiba?
    http://support.Toshiba-tie.co.jp/windows81/update_au.htm

Some of these elements will have to be uninstalled before the update to Windows 8.1. However not all of these elements may be present on your laptop
    List of components
    Atheros WLAN card driver
    Genesys Logic card reader
    Intel Proset
    Intel Wireless Display
    TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor

After that you could install Windows 8.1 and could follow with the update driver Win 8.1 and the new facility.

  • Spectrum of HP x 360: new spectrum x 360-"no audio devices available" after update of windows 10

Brand new, was working fine, all wonderful - up to what windows update yesterday, and now the mute button is always enabled in laptop mode or tablet, unless the HDMI is plugged in, and then the sound goes out via HDMI. Because there was a big update W10 from one day to the next, it's suspicious.

Try to change the taskbar icon reports: peripheral output Audio n is installed.

The button muting of the keyboard is light, and the sound of the taskbar icon is crossed out (= Mute).

Panel / control device manager / sound, video and game controllers:

    ISST Conexant Audio

I see a lot of similar complaints year last for HP laptops ("Mute Button stuck"); some seem to be hardware related, so I can't know if the Windows update broke it, or if it's just a coincidence.

I had the same problem, and it is related to the update of the anniversary.

No handler found when audio beats or app I've upgraded to Windows 10... rather have download realtek hd audio that offers bad sound... my laptop comes with beats audio speakers... where should I get my beats back audio Panel... Please help

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question on your HP laptop and your Beats Audio does not work properly after upgrading to Windows 10. Here is a link to help solve the speakers and sound does not work correctly.

The link by using the Windows troubleshooting tool is the best for this situation.

    You can also try.

    1. right click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your time.
    2. click on playback devices.
    3. click on the speakers.
    4. click on properties.
    5. click on the Advanced tab in the Properties window.
    6. change the default Format menu drop-down of the highest quality 192000 Hz.
    7. click on apply. Reboot the laptop.

You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

If that's not enough to uninstall the Realtek HD Audio and other that are listed in Device Manager, click the arrow next to its video and controller to expand this category games
Click on it Audio IDT high definition (HD), and then select Update driver software.
Select search automatically for updated driver software.

The laptop must find and automatically install the updated driver.
Once the installation is complete, restart your laptop.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • Audio stops working after updates thanks to HP Support Assistant

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6033, running Windows 7, and whenever an audio update is offered by the wizard for help, I'm sorry I let it install.  Car audio no longer works after the update is installed.  Usually, I just run the system restore, date back to before the audio update and give everything EXCEPT the audio update.  But this time, when it happened, I find that system restore is not restore the audio.

I went into the Device Manager and uninstalled the IDT High Definition Audio Codec, rebooted and let it reinstall.  Still no sound.  I downloaded for the next sp55094.exe here:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-101114-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en... >

Once again, I have uninstalled the Codec IDT and chose to remove it.  Then I installed the file that I had downloaded.  Restarted at the end.  Still no sound.

Does anyone have any suggestions? My volume control is about 50% and neither helmet nor the work of computer speakers.

    Thank you!

go to control panel of configuration/sounds and make sure on the tab devices play the idt are the default device. Click the configuration button by default down to establish it.

  • Qosmio F750 - BT fails after update 8.1 Win

I just updated my Qosmio F750 from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 successfully, and the windows 10 offer appeared.

But one thing is not fair. When I go to Device Manager it shows Bluetooth RFCOMM with the! mark in the yellow triangle.

    I can get 2 messages:

    1 driver software up-to-date and

    Advice would be appreciated

    Hello

I do not know what WLan support for laptop cards but some Qosmio F750 models were equipped with the Atheros WLan / BT combo card.

This module supports WLan and BT and get BT (under Win 8.1) you need to install the Bluetooth driver filter Package (Atheros package filter for driver Atheros BT card needed) and the Toshiba system driver.

    Hello world

I use a u3.0 dock Dynadock with my Vaio PCS 13.
I'm not able to use the Ethernet port on the Dynadock since I updated my Windows 8.1 device update 1.
    Before that everything worked well.

I'm not able to re-install the drivers correctly (tried 7.6m0, 7.5m2). While the game driver tries to start, I get an error message, Setup is not able to put a bunch of registry (SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DisplayLinkGA\D evice1) keys (up to 0). (Image 1)

If I ignore these messages and do not install the driver, the Ethernet port will not installed in Device Manager. (Image 2)

If I try to install the driver manually (DisplayLink network adapter NCM), I'll get an error message that a driver has been found but that access has been denied. (Image 3)
I started the safe mode and could install the driver. But if I reboot in normal mode, the machine could not be started.

I also tried to disable UAC and I am logged on as administrator 'real '.

  • audio not working after updates?

Windows says I do updates today about 1 h 20 EST 11/02/12 time and I did it. When it was over my sound had stopped working, I tried a system restore and it did not work. Now it says my AMD HDMI Output ' AMD high definition Audio Device "is not plugged in.

So I went online to see if other people have had this problem, and I read where something was wrong with a BIOS download and he gave a download solution. Well, who did not work when I restarted, that is when I discovered my HDMI not be plugged.

I do no sound when I try to any clip or MSN or anything, I tried all the buttons and cut signs. Nothing. My laptop is a HP Pavilion Notebook PC g6 with the product number A6Z59UA #ABA.

I solved this on my own system restore to 30/10/12 and my audio works now. I want to banhien for the help display well!<>

  • No Audio output CS6 after update to Matrox

Given that I've updated the driver for Matrox Mini / Max 7.0.2 I have now no audio output to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. Levels are appearing on the audio player, and the ASIO settings appear normal. Matrox has done something. I thought I would ask here. (I have the file exported and audio is here... so it's just a problem of output connection).

The audio is normally routed by Realtek Digital Optical Output, which works (audio works with other software.) Adobe ASIO is set on this out of work.

I think install it Matrox changed the setting... but thought I would ask here on the Adobe Forum first see if there is a solution. Since it's a Saturday. Thank you.

It is not the setting.  The one you want is on the Read tab.  Put an audio "Audio desktop Adobe" rather than 'Matrox Player' device.

The Matrox parameter directs the audio outputs audio from the MXO2, the Adobe parameter directs audio outputs audio from your sound card.
