Audio sync HDV capture error

I have problems with the audio sync issues capture.

I put the project settings for HDV 1080i30 (60i) - I accepted the default settings of the preset, I pointed the gun in the remote

I have captured two clips... every ~ 20 minutes maximum.  Both have audio sync issues.

The two clips captured images that included an empty staining in the band... ie. timecode was reset when I removed the tape from the camcorder during the trip.

Two captured items have odd video bright red inserted for a second or two (is that a sign of a mistake?) in various places.

Both show the following error message:

F; \Video\Project1\Clip 02.Markus mgegError in MPEG stream detected around the frame 3502

(there are about 20 these error messages in the events Panel)

Suggestions?

Thank you, in advance.

  • should audio sync - I separate sync audio markers?

    Here's the background...

I have been using Cyberlink Power Director for several years because I like it's multi camera workflow, but I am frustrated by its stability with large projects and get frustrated when it crashes on me without reason... so I decided to try the Premier Pro.

I do the video for my son's hockey team, I use 4 cameras (2 x GoPro 3 black behind the goals and a 2 + Contour on the center of the ice ;.) NEX6 from Sony on tripod as the cam now I use a Zoom 4 for a clean audio track.)  I shoot at 1080 p 60 fps.

Each game takes place in about 1 hour and 20 minutes.  The GoPro generate files of 3 or 4 per game to just more than 3 GB each; the outline of 2-3 records. and the Sony 6 or 7 files.  So I find myself with about 17 or 18 files per game, including the audio file of Zoom.  Each camera audio varies according to spectators standing near them, and action cameras are mounted on glass, aspiration so that they are somewhat isolated from the action on the ice.  There is no possibility of tap create synchronization markers, and I stop the Sony during period breaks to save battery power, so they are not all contiguous files.

In Power Director, I drop the files of each camera one track in the MultiCam Editor, as well as the audio file and hit the sync by Audio button... successfully synchronizes 90% of cases.  It will sometimes miss a shorter file, and it's always one of the contiguous files, so I have never a problem manually a fall where it should be.

I tried Premiere Pro this week, since I got my editing carried out earlier than usual, but the Audio synchronization failure.  I tried a simple test to fall just two files, I know, on the timeline, and synchronization using the audio just on the regular calendar synchronization, but it didn't.  I tried several different pairs of clips, but no sync.  I created a new project in Power Director and dropped the same two files on the timeline and use the synchronization of Audio and files were sync had no problem.

My question is... MPCC must more separate audio markers, and my tracks audio remote and deaf hockey forever give me grief at the CCPP?  I'm always amazed at how good PD synchronizes, since it must be able to match the whistle blows and the thuds of pucks hitting the boards, among all the background noise local spectators at various locations around the ice... I'm doing something wrong, or PPCC's simply not going to do it for me?  (I looked at a dozen tutorials Multi Cam and Audio Sync, and I think I make any sense?)

    Thanks a lot in anticipation!

    www.Vimeo.com/Channels/pmlbb

I can't synchronize audio in the timeline panel. I select the clips imported project of first pan - select all holding the key ctrl (Windows) > right click > pop-up > choose 'Create multicamera Source Sequence' and choose Synchronize as "Audio".

So, if you do this and first cannot find synchronization, it's sad because your other software can.

  • I can't control audio in the capture window.

When I'm in the (last updated) first Pro CC capture window I can't monitor audio.  I use a BlackMagic Decklink SDI 4 K capture card.  I capture images from a video tape Panasonic AJ-HD1400.

I can control the bridge and see the video in the capture window, but I can't control the audio.  When I capture the video and play on the timeline audio is here.  It's frustrating not being able to control the audio when you connect footage.

    Any suggestions?

I found the answer of BlackMagic Support - here their proofreading:

Please contact us. Unfortunately, we do not have the correct setting configuration to have audio capture first to play audio from your system. However, we can tell you that the map SDI output is equipped with video and audio that you capture. So, if you are able to take the card SDI output to a monitor that supports audio embedded, then you should be able to monitor audio and video, it.

  • Correct settings for HDV capture

Hello. I use first CS5.5. I went on a few forums to get the right settings for HDV capture.

I can save the pictures very well. However, I saw a few things that don't seem right.

After capturing HDV footage, the file was a .mpeg file. Second, the clip has been 1 hour and 10 minutes and

It was only 11.3 GB. Does this sound right? A 55-minute .avi file is 11.6 GB. I thought that an HDV clip would be quite a large file.

If this sound right does not, is there somewhere I could go to, to check that my settings are correct? By the way I'm shooting and capture with a Canon XHA1.

The film is 1080i. HDV. I exported and it seems fine. I want to just make sure I captured it properly and in the best quality.

    Thanks for your help.

You cannot use parameters for capture, since it is only a digital transfer of data. This is an exact copy of what is on the tape, nothing more, nothing less.

  • Import audio data - window of Audio sync not opening during the audio broadcast on multiple slides

    Hello

I am importing PowerPoint files in Captivate 4 with the view with audio recorded separately on top of these PPT Slides.

The PowerPoint file and associated slides to import with no problems. When I import the audio in the timeline view, it treats the MP3 file without any problem and adds the audio file to the library and the first slide. I can get the window asking me how I want to import the audio, to shich, I select the audio acorss to distribute several slides option.

In previous versions of Captivate, the Audio sync popup then appears to allow me to choose at which points to divide the audio between slides. Unfortunately the Audio Synchronization window does not appear.

My system Details are as follows:

    -PowerPoint 2007 slides

    -Captivate 4

    -Windows 7

No reason as to why this problem occurs?

    M.

    Hello

Please try to open the Captivate as an administrator-

    Solution 1:

    1. go to the Captivate installation location. Generally, it is present here-

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 4

    2. right click the "AdobeCaptivate.exe' and select 'run as administrator '.

    3. now try to run the same steps. It should work

If this does not work, try the following set of steps mentioned below.

    Solution 2:

Close the Captivate and try the following.

    1. Identify the location of cmd.exe. Usually found in C:\Windows\System32\
    2. Click right-click on cmd.exe > select run as administrator
    3. Launches the command prompt
    4. Now, go to the Adobe Captivate 4 installation location. In your case, it may be C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 4
    5. Now, run the command regsvr32 NSAudio.dll
    6. Once you get a confirmation dialog box, run the next command regsvr32 WaveEditCtrl.ocx
    7. Again, you should get a confirmation dialog box.
    8. Now launch Captivate and try the same steps. It should work.
    Kind regards

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 video / Audio won't play - Out-of-Sync Audio and video clock errors

After the installation of Premiere Pro CC 2015 I am unable to actually play my video in the timeline.

I must point out that the same video and audio files accurate work perfectly in my previous version of CC 2014.

Usually when I hit the play button nothing will happen and then after a time it will stutter back and fourth between a small loop (no audio present) and give an error that says "clock Audio and video out-of-sync (instead of time) in"Adobe Player.

I tried full uninstall and reinstall Premiere Pro CC software 2015 without success. I also tried to delete all the preferences of Premiere Pro to my settings user without success. I should also mention that after effects CC 2015 is oddly also often send me errors do not have enough executives, so I'm not sure if they are related. Once more, the CC 2014 version works perfectly.

For reference the video file is a .avi with Xvid compression and sound is a .wav. These have always been used exactly the same with CC in 2014 without problem.

    Computer:

8.1 - fully updated for Windows

    NVIDIA GTX 780 video card

    32 GB of ram

    3770K i7 processor

All Nvidia drivers are also updated.

I also ran a full virus and malware scan just in case for some strange reason, that was at fault, and I ran into zero issues. Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator CC 2015 that all seem to work great.

I am quite technically savvy and this one left me speechless, that really stinks that I was looking forward to the potential improvements to speed updates. That's life.

    Matt Borchert wrote:

Nothing seems to be enabled. The CAD is what is selected in CC 2015 as shown in the image above. It is the only available thing to choose, and I can't select None or disable.

Thank you.  In 2015, CC, you can click on the settings... button in the Audio hardware preferences.  Then in the record of the OS dialog box tab, you can disable manually (for example, right-click and choose the appropriate option) the SPDIF input.  It is only a temporary workaround until get out us a patch with a fix, but let me know if it works for you.

  • Audio sync problems

I am a wedding videographer who has a few months ago, from FCP to the PrPro CS5. I am currently working on a wedding ceremony where I have some audio synchronization problems. I filmed the wedding with 3 cameras high definition. The video was filmed all HDV 29.97, with 32-bit audio 48000khz. In addition, I used microphones tie for the spouse and the officer, each record to a device in the WMA format. I used "free mp3 wma converter" (which may be part of the problem!) to convert the WMA in 480000khz 32-bit WAV files. After using HDV Split to ensure that there are no breaks, I have imported/captured everything in first CS5. Once I dropped everything in the timeline panel, I find the part in every audio layer where the officate said thank you, "you can be sitting." I created markers not numbered to the exact frame that starts and all the video layers 3 and 5 audio layers becomes synchronized. However, when I scroll further down the timeline, something badly screwed up and I don't know if it's the video w / audio layers, or if this is WMA files that I have converted to WAV. Any help would be great!

There are several discussions on the use of a separate Audio recorder and the OOS issues. Much discussion was provided by a few of us "old-timers," who bemoaned how things were to be, when the movie camera was attached to the Nagra, and could be configured to provide synchronization of Crystal, but that does not seem possible today with our great digital equipment. Should be easy, but it is a difference in "clocks".

Hope just to get this straight, as I blew it away last wire - one single user with Zoom Audio recorder has found that the Audio derived from 100.3%, used if just the Stretch tool w / maintain Pitch to address that. It took experimentation, but when he found the % correct, it fixed everything.

For questions of a general nature OOS, this ARTICLE could offer some advice, but in the end, I think finding the % of drift, will fix everything for you and with this same equipment, will still work. Test now will be dividend in the future.

For some additional information, I search on this forum for 'sync' and maybe filter the_wine_snob (me), or Jim Simon and read. Jim is the user who found the exact % that was disabled, as well as sound equipment made of marriages.

    Good luck

  • Video audio sync problems

    Hello

I have a video app that I'm building - and before I used FMS and TCP connections for the video. Now, wait to be much lower than with UDP latency, I implemented in my application and stratus as capable server RTMFP UDP. I used the video phone sample application tutorial a simple sendStream and receiveStream for video.

However, unlike the application hosted itself, example my audio and video are completely out of sync - 4 seconds! I tried to look at the sample code to see if there was any special settings that have been made. I have found none.

    My questions:

1 adobe there special settings in their hosted example application? If so, what are they?
2 are there timing issues known with the help of RTMFP connections for video?
    3. what other also problems of audio video synchronization to face someone?
    4. If none of the above is true, what do you think are my mistakes? Please let me know if I need to add information to answer this question.

    Thanks in advance.
    Rohan

with RTMFP, video and audio can go out of sync if your stream flow exceeds the capacity of your network. video is currently being sent with a reliability of 100%, so once it has queued for transmission, it will be sent (eventually). video is lower priority audio, so audio gets dibs on the capacity of your network. If the video stream flow is higher than what is appropriate for your network (after audio), video data will be back until its send buffer is filled, new images of the camera will stop to have captured him. in steady state, this may look like a multi-seconde shift between video and audio.

try to lower your rate/quality video so that it fits in your network quality. video and audio should remain synchronized.

with RTMP, there is a buffer of network transmission (TCP) for all parts of your stream (audio & video). When you have enough bandwidth, the TCP buffer will fill up eventually and video images will stop at been taken into account to compensate. so while the audio and the video might stay synchronized, the total end to end latency will increase. When you use RTMFP, the audio and video have stamps of independent transmission, so in the event of insufficient network resources, audio of the highest priority should be faster but the video can be left behind.
