  • Do not have the permission to a folder, but I am the admin. (win7)

    Hey, I get these errors when you try to copy into the folder D:\Program Files 2 and if I try to delete anything from him, he said 'you must be authorized to perform this action. " Even though I am the administrator of the computer it still doesn't let me copy/delete the files it contains.

    I tried to use the Take Ownership reg. authorization, but when I try to take ownership on this folder, in the CMD window, it says "SUCCESS: the file or the folder D:\Program Files 2 is now owned by RAYHAN-PC ' but underneath it just says:" INFO: access denied. "< d:\program="" files="">

    and I still can't edit the program files 2.

    One thing I noticed, is that subfolders inside Program Files 2 gives the full control permission to the admin, but not the user. And if I try to click on the Security tab in the folder properties window, he says "the permissions on are misclassified, which can cause some ineffective entries" and I can't change the permission settings. It says I need to reorganize the permissions, but if I try to reorganize and give full control to USERS, he said only: "access denied".

    I tried Googling for answers, but nothing helped.

    Could this be a virus?

    Can someone help me with this? Thank you in advance if

    Hi Ray,

    Screenshots as soon as you have provided and since the last post you made, it seems to me that AVG is installed in the D drive on the computer and it runs in the computer. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, if you have any program installed in this folder in the D drive in the computer, you will not be able to remove the contents of the folder.

    At this point, I would ask you to uninstall AVG (and any other program installed in this folder in drive D) and check if that helps. In order to completely uninstall AVG, you must download and run the utility of deletion there, provided by AVG at this link.

    Let is know if this helps or not.

  • Help me set the permission for the folder/Library/Preferenses

    I installed Adobe InDesign CC, but when the program starts. It says: "error. Cannot launch Adobe InDesign that you do not have sufficient permissions to access the preferences folders. Be sure that you have appropriate permissions and restart Adobe InDesign". I found a reason here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1314214?start=0 & tstart = 0 but I can not add the Admin and showing all users and permission change for all users and admin in read/write. System says that I have enough rights to do this. I am the only user of my MacBook Pro late 2013. I have only one user - admin. My OS is El Capitan 10.11.4. Help please.

    Root library is locked by the integrity of the system of Protection (SIP).

    However, this isn't the record say these instructions change. You are supposed to change the permissions on your user Library/Preferences, it's what the ~ / means. If you follow the steps precisely, you will reach your user preferences folder. You can get to your library by holding down the Option key and select library from the menu go to the Finder.

    Adobe has not yet understood how to properly encode their software for OS X permissions. I don't know why other developers may seem to do, but Adobe cannot.

    Change the permissions on the files of Adobe should be all that is necessary. Change the permissions on ~/Library/Permissions and each subfolder is horribly inappropriate.

    I would try just add additional access to the Adobe folders located in each specified locations.

  • login script for permission of a folder to a standard user.

    Hi guys,.

    I am trying to install an application that will keep the files in the folder %AppData%, but I don't have write permission to the site said. I think if possible to have a logon script that has admin credentials in the script of the said who will give me a read and write for the %AppData%\microsoft\windows\sendto folder permission every time I connect using the standard user? and how to do it?

    Thanks in advance,

    The %AppData%\microsoft\windows\sendto file is specific to the user, and users should have full access rights. Instead of trying to do things to the logon script, you must set the structure of the folder appdata % approval.

  • Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007 (public folder favorite Outlook)

    Adding a public folder to favorite Outlook

    Under favorite folders, all bookmarks that link to public folders have "public folders" added to name favorites.

    This means that I must make the column wide artificially in order to not see the number of unread messages in these folders.

    Is there a way to display the Favorites so the expression "in the public records" does not appear as part of the name of the folder?

  • response to denial of permission access_shared user

    My current application has the ability to save the content generated by the user in the documents directory. If the user permission to access the shared files that I would like to delete or disable the 2 Save buttons I. Is there an event after the popup of permission that I can take for this to start or what I try to access the folder and then respond to the error?

    Question 2: what happens if the user subsequently changes the access to his mind? It seems that no authorization or permission is permanent? Is this true?

    Thanks for any help.

    Ron

    If you use the method "exists" on the shared directory, it will return false to indicate that you do not have access to it. If the user changes their permission setting while the application is running, there is no 'event'. It is permanent, until they one indented.

  • Error number: 70 Error Description: permission denied

    Hi all
    I just finished to set up a new development environment.
    I created a new application and then I registered it.
    Now, I'm trying to load the metadata, rules...
    But whenever I try to load or extract something (what ever the metadata, rules, WDEF...) HFM returns me the following error:

    Error number: 70
    Error Description: permission denied
    Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error
    Page Occurred:/hfm/DocMgr/ExtractItems.asp error (if I try to extract something)

    It doesn't happen when I try to load something of the workspace so that if I load that is metadata on the client, it seems to work correctly.

    What can I do to solve the problem?

    Pleas help me! It's urgent!

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Giacomo.

    * Cause: *.
    This problem is caused by the NTFS permissions on the folder to transfer files on the Web of HFM server and can be verified by giving everyone in the control group full access to the FileTransfer file as a test. Normally this question will require the Internet Guest account and the IIS user launch to have full access for the file to transfer files on the HFM Web server.

    * Solution: *.
    On the HFM Web server

    Check the value of the FileTransferFolderPath value data in the Windows registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hyperion Solutions\Hyperion financial Management\Web
    In Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder you specified in the above registry, right click on the name of the folder and select Properties, then the Security tab.
    Give full control permissions to the account invited Internet and process account IIS to launch users.
    Click on apply.
    If the modifications above do not resolve the user of HFM DCOM assignment question try as the identity of the anonymous access in IIS:

    Start the Internet Information services Manager console
    Explorer the DefaultAppPool, right-click and select "Properties".
    Go to the "Identity" tab, select "Configurable" and change the user identity to match that of the HFM DCOM user used when installing HFM.
    Click on apply and OK
    In addition foret forest down to the Web Site of HFM, right-click and select "Properties".
    Go to the "Directory Security" tab
    In the "authentication and access control', click 'change '.
    For "anonymous" access change the username/password of the HFM DCOM user credentials
    Click OK, OK
    Restart the IIS services

  • "You don't have permission to access to" a computer - Windows 7

    Now, I have 3 laptops in my house.  We're on Windows 7 (let's call it W7) and two are on Vista (we'll call V1 and V2).  On my Windows 7, I can connect (via the network - all PC use the same Linksys wireless router) v1 without problem and see shared files, but I can't connect to V2.  I get the message "you don't have permission to access \\PCName."  Now if I put in place a different id user on W7, I can access the V1 and V2.  I need to stick with my original if possible user id, because this is where I've already implemented a large number of programs that I need for work.

    Any ideas on what could be going on with my original user id?  He worked two weeks ago, although I added a few programs as I finally tried access V2.  Thank you!

    You can 'stick with your original user "; just add it to the machine of V2. See point c below for more details:

    Problems sharing files between computers on a network are usually caused by 1) a misconfigured firewall or a firewall neglected (including a dynamic firewall in a virtual private network); or (2) inadvertently run two firewalls such as the firewall of Windows and a third-party firewall. and/or (3) do not have accounts to the same users and passwords on all computers in the workgroup. (4) tries to create actions where the operating system does not.

    In Windows 7, go to control panel > everything in Control Panel > network and sharing Center. Click on "change the advanced sharing settings. You don't want to use the residential group unless you have all Windows 7 machines. If you do and you want to use the homegroup, see Windows 7 Help & Support. Otherwise, in sharing advanced:

    Discovery of plug in the network
    Open the files and printers sharing
    Turn on the sharing section Public folder sharing
    Plug the password protected sharing

    A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, turning on window file sharing and printer as the above will take care of that for you. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus/security with its own firewall component program, then you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range. E.g. would be 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.254. Obviously you would substitute your correct subnet. Refer to the safety of any third party program or the user forums for how to correctly configure its firewall. Do not run more than one firewall. DON'T STOP FIREWALLS; CONFIGURE THEM CORRECTLY.

    (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

    C. create the counterpart of the user accounts and passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this:

    Start > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
    Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

    Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null). MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    access_shared , you can check with QFileInfo

    QFileInfo info("shared/documents");
    if (info.isWritable()){
        qDebug() << "SHARED PERMISSION OK";
    }else{
        qDebug() << "SHARED PERMISSION ERROR";
    }

    and the access_internet hm, if you do not have permission to access_internet in your application, then app still has access to internet, so that you can not check. You check only if app is connected to the internet

    Hello

    I'm trying to recreate the user profile on my wife, as it is indicated by the Microsoft Support, but have a security problem.  When I try to access a folder I'm denied permission, even as an administrator.
    I tried the folder properties-> Security-> advanced and tried to change their owner, who is giving me the error message in the title of the topic.  I also tried the folder-> sharing-> advanced sharing properties and select "Share this folder", but get an access is denied error.
    Can someone help me?

    Hello

    I had already tried your suggestion without success, I saw in another forum somewhere.
    However, I managed to solve the problem of windows in SafeMode via msconfig startup.  This gave me access to the file, and security settings showed that it was owned by the deleted user's profile.  I deleted this user of all files and restarted in normal mode and the problem was solved.

  • Firefox in enterprise environments. Update.

    I am a Director of the Institute, where Firefox should be installed on 250 Windows 7 desktops.
    Logining as root on these computers is extremely rare.
    I have two questions:

    1. is it sufficient to give write permission in the folder '% ProgramFiles(x86) %\Mozilla Firefox' NTFS correct user updated versions of Firefox?

    2. is there a way to organize our own server update (or service) to reduce the load on the servers of the Mozilla Foundation update?
    Where can I get directions for the implementation of this server?

    Thanks for your tip and links.
    Therefore Maintenance Service is running with the Local system credentials, which cannot be used to grant NTFS permissions. But I can try to run the service with one other user credentials
    rather than grant the permission on the file "Mozilla Firefox" write all users.
    It is better, but unfortunately, he does not question.
