  On the MagicJack (USB Composite device) is the location: Port_ #0002.Hub_ #0007

  On the flash drive is the location: 0000.001d.0002.002.000.000.000.000.000

  3rd place property looks pretty weird (Im assuming that third location data for the flash player, since the only other USB devices are my Microsft mouse and the MagicJack I know is a composite device, but I'm wrong.  AMD Athlon 64 3200 + 1GIG memory ATI Radeon X800XL 250gig W.D. hard drive

  The same problem. Cloned old HD on a larger hard drive. Everything worked perfectly except NO indexing and update WITHOUT windows - the two recurring problems that seem to appear on the forums after a change of hard disk.

  INDEXING resolved with change to "Intel rapid storage technology." Google what I put in quotes, choose the Download Center and get the specific to your OP and the controller software.

  UPDATES have been a little more frustrating. The microsoft .fixes and convenience stores were without help.

  Go to control panel / system and Maintenance / administration tools

  Select Services

  Stop the Background Intelligent Transfer Service

  Stop Windows Update

  In 'My Computer' go to Windows / Software Distribution

  Right-click "DataStore" folder. Rename it to Datastore.old

  Rename the folder 'Download' Download.old

  Return to Services and restart the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and Windows Update.

  Look for the updates. It will take some time because you deleted the database.

  Following the advice in another post on this site, in order to create a "clean" installation and his work & Office Starter (they do now--they have not before) I did a reset to factory of the recovery partition.   I get no error message, it justs waits... and waits... and waits.  I let wait for 90 minutes, but there is still no sign of activity.

  You can ignore the text that says it's for network installations and also ignore the text advising windows/microsoft update if a single update of a PC.

  This should move your 0x8024400A problem. So try and get up-to-date with the Windows updates. You have to go through Genuine Windows Validation.

  Recently, I downloaded Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007, which seems to be very well. The problem is the automatic updates do not work. After searching online, I did the start > run > Winver and he says I have Service Pack 3.   So I thought I'd download the SP2.  But I did not know if Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 actually means I have SP2 installed or not.  And I got in such a mess last year I don't want to take any chances again.

  I found more information. Looking in my history of update for automatic updates, all 4 of these updates failed have the same error Code which is: 0 x 80070663.  I don't know if this info helps solve this problem or not, but that's it.

  Delete buttons do not work after the update of 10.11.16.  The delete button works if I pointed out and then delete, but not if I use the "back" button or try a removal of uniqueness.  It is a problem in all applications.  I tried it in textedit, search google chrome, safari search and find finder engine.  There seems to be a 'problem' of the keyboard' as far as I know nothing happened to my keyboard, IE the spilt coffee, that recent warming has been updated to 10.11.16.  I use an iMac (27-inch, late 2009) with i5 clocked at 2.66 GHz, running OS X El Capitan.

  Reset of the controller management system (SCM) on your Mac - sometimes it's a matter of simply resetting your iMac SMC. Open this article and scroll down to "Reset the SMC on Mac desktop" section and follow the steps there.

  Try safe mode if your Mac does not start -even if your iMac, safe mode startup make sure it starts successfully.
