• BlackBerry Torch 9800 BlackBerry Smartphones died today

  My old Blackberry Torch 9800 for 5 months with AT & T just died tonight.  I tried to recharge the battery and removing the battery to do a hard reset... nothing helps.  I noticed that twice tonight, it seemed resets automatically.  There no flashing red lights or any activity on the screen.  I made yesterday to sync it with my calendar at work and check the updates of the software... useless.   What do you think the problem is?  Thank you.

  I went online to FB and I was support out of it, the screen on my Blackberry became white.  It would shut down or anything.  I did a hard reboot, but all that happens is that the white screen.  Any ideas would be more useful.  I went to AT & T where we do most of our activities, does not.  They don't have any idea...   You have the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop software installed?

  After installing these, open the Fund Manager and connect your device.  It should ask you to install the software on your phone.  I'll try to help you as best I can, but I'm surprised that the store would not charge it for you.

  Help help help, I never had so many problems of sync since upgrading my phone from BB to a BB 9700 Bold.  I've been sync without problem, tried yesterday and it get this message:

  Click Cancel to stop the clock, review your options of default service on your device and try to use your service of origin by default since the last time you synchronized.  On your device, click the Options, then the Advanced Options > default Services:

  I checked my default Services and my CICAL CMIME both the same and are unchanged.

  So why is that happening?

  I remember my phone Blackberry software update is the other day - what is this might be a link, how can he know?

  Please help - I don't want say yes incase I get all my entries duplicated in my new calendar (Yes, had this problem too).

  Its possible that the service books have been updated with update and Desktop Manager is to see it as a new calendar.

  Access your e-mail set up the screen. All you have to do is validate e-mail accounts, clicking on validate & signature with your password.

• Icons/apps blackBerry Smartphones have suddenly disappeared from my BB 8900 Curve

  I have a BB 8900 Curve and it works very well up until now. Some applications/icons have disappeared from my phone and I have not changed anything. So now my icon for textmessaging disappeared, as the BBmessager and the profiles icon that indicates if you want the phone to ring/quiet.

  No, this isn't the norm, at least not on a new torch.  Once you've had for a while and it is bogged down with many applications running at once, you can expect 1-2 days on a full charge.

  First of all, let's see what is running on your phone.  Hold the menu button for a second or two.  This is the key of BB to the left of the trackpad.  What you will see is a list of applications that are running on your phone.  Some, such as hospitality, Messages, browser, BBM, cannot be closed, but many others can.  If you see a lot of other applications in the list, go to one of them.  Once it opened, press the menu key and select close or exit.  This will stop the application correctly.  Note pressing the red phone button can't stop the app, it minimizes the background where it continues to run and use the power of the battery.

  Another good habit to get into is to perform traction regular battery.  With your phone, remove the battery, then replace.  This clears the cache and keeps your well-oiled phone.  This amounts to restart your PC to make it work well.  If you want to do battery pull but do not really want to remove the battery every time, I recommend a free app called QuickPull.  You can even set to restart your phone at a time where you're not here, so you don't have to worry at all.  I have included a link below.

  Mass storage mode, the PC/Mac to access internal and external memory on the BlackBerry.

  Just a basic question have you tried to remove the battery and place it back in and then try to connect to the Mac?

  If no luck, go to Options > Media Card on BlackBerry and make sure that MTP Protocol is set to off and mass storage mode is on auto enable mass storage when connected is set to Yes.

  Then try to connect the BlackBerry to the Mac.

  Also do you have a previous synchronization software on the BlackBerry?

• BlackBerry Smartphones died of a "check for updates".

  After that I have synced an hour ago I got a message that there have been updates for apps on my BB.  I chose to update in BB with these updates.  20 minutes later, there is a msg of error on my laptop... is more have and my BB screen is white with a few circle of 'not' sort around an application with a 507 underneath number icon.  I can't access my phone or anything like that, and now the BB Mgr does not recognize that it is connected.

  Someone at - it experience with this?  I have if I was doing something simple and now I'm dead in the water.  Help!

  Yes, I thought that the updates were for the device OS.

  That is the problem. Updated the software and a place of installation

  became corrupt or has not been loaded properly. Your device has basically no software

  load.

  Normally you go to the vendors website and download the device OS on your PC.

  You would then use the application loader in desktop software preconfigured to restore the device.

  The problem is that I do not have any software for the 8900 on the AT & T Web site.

  I suggest that you contact AT & T in the morning and ask to help you with the download.

  My new "BOLD" worked very well the trackball stop scrolling down.  (I have not wet.) It scrolls to the left, right and just right.  I tried the battery and soft reboot with no luck.

I worked hard that by putting the synchronization of calendar configuration "mode 2", 'All the entries in the calendar' with a filter defined on synchronize start dates after 01/01/2013. It worked. But all of a sudden tonight trying to remove almost 100 entries of (recent) Agenda of my computer.

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  (2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  (3) restart to take batt

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
