Bad placed JPG quality

Before say you it, yes the display performance is set high quality

I have a few jpg files which are trucks of display of Web pages, I place in ID and then resize smaller according to their environment. Resizing absolutely ruins the quality of the images, text is especially damaged as if there were no anti aliasing current.

If I were in PS and I took the same image and then resize the image and the text all look crisp and large. Resizing a picture jpg in ID seems to destroy the quality.

Export the file ID that quality and no compression and the press images seem still very badly, text created in ID seems perfect.

What have I done wrong?

Screenshots are always poor display in PDF files, unless they are on the scale of 100%. It is the nature of the beast. I did a lot of technical documents for software over the years and rarely saw their bad in the press.

Dropbox - screenshot.zip

The ID file and the exported PDF are the same name. The PDF file imported from the upper part of the page is the placed image. It prints well here.

If I use Illustrator to put the file IN an Illustrator document, is any pdf file 100% losseless file? (place a file HAVE in a car of document have important file HAVE original in PDF format).

    Reason, I ask:

I have a document to HAVE I'm trying multiple files IN.  I put most of the files in the document by copy / paste, but some of my files don't look good once I scale down using this method (film plastic affect scale well).  I found that by placing the file with the effect of the plastic wrap, effect is changing down to the research, as it did to the largest size.  While the imported pdf file looks the same file HAVE original in my eyes, I wanted to make sure I wasn't losing any quality using this method.

    Thank you

How downward revision you don't lose quality.

    The difference is:

When the work of copy and paste, you will work with vector objects and the pixelation effect is applied then.

When you place a PDF file, the work actually is pixelated and you adapt the work of raster. This is why it looks the same.

If you want to look the same after scaling of artwork with the effect, you will need to adjust the effect settings as well.

  • JavaScript, close and save the changes without dialogue of JPG quality

I'm working on a script that exports the images in Illustrator and resize them in Photoshop to be at the right height/width/dpi that we need. I send the command through BridgeTalk and resizing works great, but when I try to use doc.close (SaveOptions.SAVECHANGES); PS stop on each image with a JPEG quality dialog box.

    jpg_options.jpg

Is there anyway around this dialogue? I know that I can make a record under, but that forces JPG as the file type and sometimes we export png using the same script, then it becomes a much more complicated script if I add conditions and to save the options for the types of files and send them via the deck. I just want to save what he was already of file format and keep moving forward. Is there a force save that overrides dialog boxes? I also tried a line of code to disable (displayDialogs = DialogModes.NO) dialog boxes, but this does not work either. Is it possible to get around this problem or I have to go the other way and make the conditional script and use Save as. The annoying part is that it works perfectly for the png! Thanks in advance for any help!

When I run your code on a jpg document that had been saved by Photoshop in the past.  Here I open a jpg file that has been saved by Photoshop and use to adapt the image to resize the image and to run your code, close "app.activeDocument.close (SaveOptions.SAVECHANGES)" I don't get no quality POPUP dialog.  It must be because your file was saved by the Illustrator in jpeg format with the Photoshop doesn't know what quality the jpeg file.

Certainly not common or normal.  Sounds like the 'distributor' is not Apple.

  • Weird error with placed .jpgs

Anyone else does? Whenever I place, touch or move a .jpg file in have I get this pop up error, but once cleared, I can continue to work normally (until the next time I touch the .jpg). I rebooted, dumped prefs, etc., but it still happens.

  • "Badly placed Image files.

A few days ago I moved my file master image "My Photos Lightroom' to an external HD (L :) until my PC internal HD (c) - (Windows7). I did it in the Lightroom4. When I moved (I thought) back to my external HD (L :) the photos show upward, but with the message "the file named"IMG xxx is offline or missing".

When I go into 'My computer' and access to external HD (L :) images are appearing in this drive, but I can't seem to connect in Lightroom. Does anyone have an idea as to what is happening and how to reconnect to the master file 'My Lightroom Photos' pictures?

    DJ,

As you suggested - clicked on an image_0031.JPG and received the following message:

"IMG_0062.JPG" could not be used because the original file cannot be found. You want to locate?

    Previous location: Lightroom Photos\Image Lightroom Photos\2004\family\IMG_0062.JPG Vault\My L:\My

I then clicked on the image and the message came:

    The selected file

'0402_untitled_002JPG' has a different name from the one you tried to locate. Are you sure this is the right file?

    file name: IMG_0062.JPG

    Then, I pressed "confirm".

And bingo, the world was a new. The file is now in the library - as well as 6 000 others photos. Strange result, but nice result.

DJ, thanks for the hand-holding. Super satisfied with the result.

  • Bad recording playback quality

When I record my voice with a microphone, or only through micro computer, when I play it back makes my voice sound very low and deep.  Is it because of my SigmaTel Audio (its provided with my computer card)?  I have Windows XP.

    Hello

Make sure that there is no substantive distubance while keeping in mind that the speakers and the microphone is dust free and free of any objects that can block or the output of the recording conflicts.

Microphone performance depends on many factors. This includes the distance from mouth to microphone and the positioning of the microphone. Each manufacturer has specific requirements.

Increase the microphone Volume. To do this, follow these steps.

    a. go to the Windows Start menu, click Control Panel and then double-click the speech icon.
    b. click the speech recognition tab.
    c. Select the Audio input button and then click the properties button.
    d. click the option use automatically chosen line to use a specific system audio input line.
    e. click the option use this audio input line to select the audio input line yourself from the options offered.
    f. click the OK button three times.

Outside the input selection in the setup of speech, you should check for input devices recording levels.

    g. in the Control Panel, select sounds and Audio devices.
    h. now, select the voice tab in the properties of sounds and Audio Devices dialog box.
    i. the default device should be the device you want to use for voice recording.
    j. click on the Volume button under the title of recoding of voice.
    k. adjust volume on the Volume of the microphone or line Volume vertical blade depending on the device you are using.

  • jpg degraded quality of swf into HTML

I have a simple Flash project.  It includes images of jpg with text on them.  When I export and click on the SWF locally, the quality is very clear.  When I opened the html file to display the swf file embedded, the quality degrades severely.  Is there anything I can do to help with this?

This is the file html with images degraded (most notable in the text).  If you browse through, you will see a part of the text is really hard to read, where if I display the swf file locally it is perfectly clear.  In the settings I have jpg quality set to 100 per cent of publication.

    http://www.littletonpublicschools.NET/schools/Englewood.html

Thank you very much for your help!

    Jerome

It seems to me that the .swf is shrunk way down when placed on the Web page. The narrowing distorts at the bottom of the text. Show the dimensions are 1000 x 600, but my guess is that the original dimensions of the Stadium are close to 1000 x 800. Play the .swf directly displays much more content and the text seems fine. But decreases the height of 600 and to maintain the proportions... shrink things down... including the text, which distort the text.

Switch the display size 1000 x 800 (or what was your original stage height) and note the improvement of the quality.

If you only want a high .swf 600, adjust the height of the scene at 600 and adjust content accordingly... do not shrink the .swf once it's on the Web page.

Also get rid of all this style of W/H 100% in the, and the 'scale' param, you don't want to evolve this .swf because issues of text.

    Best wishes

  • Bad picture quality-> Fashion Design & content (CP8) published

If I am preparing a high quality image, perfect photo, strong, size we will say 500 x 500 px in Photoshop (maximum JPG quality setting), then dump in Captivate, I find that Captivate significantly degrades the quality of the image.  It changes the sharpness of the image and destroyed the exposure as the color saturation and tint settings.  Even if I publish to an LMS with 24-bit, no compression, it still seems degraded.

Is it possible to improve the quality of the image?

File file, import, Photoshop.  You will be able to choose which layers have to be imported (each layer will be converted into a PNG image), or import an image of smooth. I use this feature a lot, because it also maintains several images/layers in the same PS file and helps the management of Images in the library.

  • Export all pages with 100% quality jpg

    Hello

When I try to export all pages in my document as 100% quality JPG with the 'Export Assistant', some pages are still exported as GIF.

I see that there is a combo box of compression in the property inspector, but when I select "JPG - quality" I still don't get a quality of 100% (I get jpg blur around the text, for example).

Can someone help me? Is there a quick way to export all pages with a 100%? I've yet to find a button that says, for example, 'apply 100% quality for all pages '.

    Thank you!

If you use Fireworks CS5, you can select all pages, then the optimization goto Control Panel and set the settings jpeg 100%.

Optimization settings applies to all pages, and then you should be good to export all pages.

  • Extraction of LR - CC JPG LR5 different?

I have a client who told me transfer photos to their server via their owner web reporting app. Since I started using LR - CC my uploaded photos are degraded, even if I use the same export preset that I used without problem in the LR5, and even if the photos on my hard drive looks good.

The workflow is that I photograph, change them in Lightroom, extract the jpgs on my hard drive and then download the jpgs on the server from the client using web custom client reporting app.

In the past (using the LR5) I have implemented a custom export preset named for the customer. Photos have been reserved for the web, so I set the preset for 640 pixels on the long axis, 72 dpi, screen of sharpening. Worked great for many months. Customer was happy, so I was happy.

When I switched to LR - CC a couple of weeks, I was happy to see that my pre-existing export screening appeared in LR - CC. There are some additional options available for exports in LR - CC, but they are not relevant to the issue of the extraction of individual jpg files for this customer. I even tried opening LR5 and LR - CC at the same time, and by comparing the export preset by line to make sure that nothing is different.

Jpg files exported in LR5 and LR - CC both look good if I review them on my hard drive using any jpg Viewer. When I download any LR5 JPG via my customer's web application, the photos look great in the customer relationships. When I download any exported JPG of the LR - CC, however, the picture that looked fine on my hard drive looks like very fuzzy, as if I had purposely Pasante my camera. This is true even if the LR - CC photo looks perfect on my hard drive with any photo application.

I entered the export LR - CC dialog box and tried to change the output resolution (I went all the way up to a 23 MB jpg) and tried to increase the default value of 60 JPG quality. I tried to use another camera. I tried Safari web browsers Firefox to switch. None of this affects the problem. Each jpg exported LR - CC is horrible in the customer relationship. Changing of LR - CC to LR5 makes the problem disappears. Each jpg uploaded from the LR5 looks great, even at small resolutions. The image degradation that happens on every uploaded photo which was extracted from LR - CC, but no photo that was extracted from LR5. The jpgs of LR5 and LR - CC both look good on my computer. From the point of view of the web client report, LR5 works, LR - CC fails. Yet, the pictures look identical on my hard drive before I the download (impossible to distinguish, in fact).

I don't have details on how web app from the customer downloads the photos and the customer knows nothing about their software and has no tech support department. Their report software asks me to point to the picture and double-click on it, so I assume it is some kind of file transfer protocol to move the JPG from my hard drive to their server.

My system is Mac OS 10.10.3 (Yosemite). I tried to use Safari 8.0.6 as Firefox 37.0.2 with no difference. Can someone suggest a solution to the problem other than the maintenance of services to a customer help LR5?

  • Export of JPG Compression

I use pictures of OS X to store all of my photos for a while now. Most of the time I edit my photos in snapseed for IOS and let synchronization iCloud that or I'll shoot with editing in application features. Sometimes, I need to export and unmodified original pictures OS X Pixelmator or Photoshop. After that I made my changes I export it back as a JPG (the same format as my original CD is in). When pixelmator or photoshop prompts me to give the JPG one option to export quality from 0 to 100 I still want 100, so I do not lose quality. Initially I thought it was the right thing to do until I noticed that my photoshop retouching were exported about twice or more the size of the original even if it was just a flattened JPG exported. My question is how can I keep the image edited to the same original JPG quality that I import without losing quality or export great.

    Thanks for the help,

    Max

If you don't want to lose any quality at all when exporting to JPEG, use "10". Which will increase the size of the file however, but not as much as export in TIFF format, which would be the best option.

If you are willing to accept minor losses in quality, use the quality 'high or 8' instead of 'Maximum, or 10. This should give a file of about the same size as the original file.
