Basic image - launch actor actor

I have a problem, I have a core "player". When we use the actor 'launch' to "Actor Open Core front panel", it is possible to know if already "basic player" is actor started and advanced. I call several times to "Launch player", a "core of the actor" whenever the call is made, the place opens, I want to have a single 'base player' and should be open, make the front of the façade. Is it possible?

The answer is no - the AF is designed to run multiple copies of the process. If you want to use a single copy (essentially a variation on the singleton pattern, which is a term that you can search), you will need to code yourself.

A simple solution is to use a non-reentrant VI. The first call (there is a primitive that returns this) launch the actor and put his enqueuer into a knot of registry or feedback shift If the first call is F, take the enqueuer leave feedback node and send a message 'open' to the actor or simply return the enqueuer.

  • Basic image size problem

Seems I have lost a few basics about the sizes of the image.

When I create a new image, I want image must be made up of centimeters, not pixel, because the pixels do not tell me anything of the physical size of the future picture. So, when I do the new image to 4 x 6 cm, seems that Photoshop does not know is that a cm! So I have to manually "guess" how pixels are there a cm in order to make this cm as real as a 'leader of real life".

I am sure that this problem has been asked several times, but I have not found the exact type. I know that Photoshop does not know how many pixels my LCD has, that's why he asks on pixels per inch or pixels per cm in order to create a picture.

I would have this problem solved somehow, so that when I create a data mm image into a square, Photoshop CS would know the pixels in my monitor and I would not guess pixels...

Basically speaking how to create an image with the "actual size"?

When you create a new file, you can set this specification.

Also, with one trust you open and view > leaders verified, by right click on the rule you can make that adjustment

If, however, you want to set your res file so that it matches the actual size measured with a ruler, follow these instructions:

For the image that will be presented to a cm on your monitor is a cm of the image, you must determine the resolution of your screen. Here's how:

    1. open a new file: 500 px of width and depth.

2 see 100% of the size.

    3. use a rule. Measure the width of the image to the screen in cm.

4 divide 500 by the width of the screen image.

Result: Resolution of the screen in terms of pixels per cm.

    Next:

Define your image at this resolution by going to:

    Image > Image size

Enter the size of the Document screen resolution: resolution field

    ***

Don't forget: This allows you to create a match of sovereign of image and is not designed for sovereign-to-print match because its resolution is probably too low for quality reproduction. It would be wise to make an image of dupe for your rule of corresponding image.

    • You have defined a site.
    • All files are located in the site defined (including image files)
    • All files use the.gif image file appropriate, for example, extensions
    • You've saved and uploaded all the files of the site to your server.
    • You name EXACTLY the image of the source (not stray capital letters) in the link.

  • Basic images questions

    Hello

I have not used the Flash in a long time, but have been selected to work on an old Flash (.fla) file as a previous employee filed. I use Flash CS4 on Windows XP Pro.

Very simple stuff, but yet I can't solve my problem despite following instructions on the removal of frames. I tried the instructions at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flash/10.0_UsingFlash/WSd60f23110762d6b883b18f10cb1fe1af6-7ec8 a.html #WSd60f23110762d6b883b18f10cb1fe1af6-7ec2a (remove an image or sequence of images) without success.

I have a file 1269 requiring the first 260 frameworks to make them disappear completely. That's all! Yet, I tried selecting frames (so they are highlighted in blue), to remove via the context menu with no luck. By selecting these frameworks and pressing the delete key translates all the frames of 1269 being deleted.

I tried to erase the images and other things. I tried to select the pictures I want and copy into another file unsuccessfully - all 1269 executives get stuck. I tried to avoid the keyframe at the beginning. I tried to insert a blank Keyframe to the 260 framework, but he did restart the whole frames 1269 a from there.

I apologize for such a simple question, but any help would be appreciated.

  • LOOK for iOS: icons & launch Image question

    Start the Image:

AIR was so changed since I used it the last time, I can't really know anything, the documentation is a little confusing for me. Could someone of you please answer my question? For some, it would be fairly simple.

My application is exclusively for iPads, only works in landscape mode, so I've included images of launch 2, whose name: Default.png & [email protected]. (I named them after reading this: ) http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WS901d38e593cd1bac1e63e3d129907d2886-8000.html )

When I copied the final .ipa file to my iPad 2, and its launch image appeared in Portrait mode! So, I'm totally confused that how many launch I provide images and what should be their names? I use Flash Professional CC to publish, I have included images of launch in publication settings, so is there any order I must follow or order in the files just doesn't metter? Please keep it carefully considered that this app is only for iPads (specified in the publishing dialog box) and only works in landscape (both, left and right).

    Icons:

    I followed the above Web page and Flash Professional CC has provided these icons: 29 x 29, 48 x 48, 50 x 50, 58 x 58, 72 x 72, 100 x 100, 144 x 144 and 1024 x 1024. I know 50 x 50 icon is created by air 48 x 48, and yet I have provided it and icon 512 x 512 is only for the purpose of development, we provide manually while downloading on App Store, so I did not plan it.

When I copied final. IPA to iTunes, iTunes doesn't show the application icon as it allows to determine the development-ipa. So, I just want confirm is that normal or I missed something?

Finally, I copied final. IPA for my iPad 2, when I started, I noticed that first of all it show image 'launch' in portrait (as mentioned above) and then can be 1-2 seconds, the launch went image and it showed a blank (black) screen until my application has started. The black and white screen showed for 3-4 seconds. Is this normal?

    Thank you.

    Hey Yusuf,.

"Default.png" is a bitmap portrait for iPhone, iPhone 3 and iPhone 3GS.

    ---

    For iPad 1, 2 & Mini, you will need an image 1024 x 768 called "Default - Landscape.png.

For the iPad 3 and 4, you will need a 2048 x 1536 "[email protected]."

    ---

So all you have to do is to include these images in the publication of launch settings and that's all, there is no special orders and you don't require other images 'Default' than these two. This should also fix your white screen problem.

It is normal for release builds do not show their application icon in iTunes, you will notice that when you right click and press "Get Info" on an application, you should be able to see the icon.

    Hope that helps,

    O.

  • Application Builder: the Application closes after the Launcher

I'm launching my application executable that was built with the Application Builder. I use framework actor and have a Launcher.vi which is defined as the start VI and launched the actor parent. When I run the executable, I can see the front Launcher.vi opens and closes quickly, but the main façade never opens. Where should I start to debug my executable? Is there something obvious that I do not forget to do? I compared my configuration of the application to the actor framework example (that does not produce an executable work) and can not find something that is different.

OK, I thought about it. I went back and watched closer launcher for the example of master actor and I noticed the block launch actor VI didn't have "Open front actor Core" value true which seemed strange because the front opens correctly for this application. I searched in VI properties for the parent of project example actor Core.vi and saw that the appearance of the window has a custom configuration. The options to see the façade when called and then close while initially closed have been verified in the sample project but unchecked for my project. I also watched the run settings and saw that the example is configured to reentrant run clone Shared while my project is configured to run not reentrant.

Changing the appearance of window correctly launching my main façade. I played with the run settings to see what those and noticed that when my VI is configured to not reentrant run, child actors do not seem to get started. In addition, the stop on my front button will close the front panel, but the application is still running. Change the mode to Shared clone lance child actors correctly and completely closes the application when you press the stop button. I also tried clone reentrancy pre-allocated to see what would happen. errors of launcher just immediately say the call by reference VI is not executable.

I guess it makes sense. Framework of the actor expects that the State is not maintained when a player is destroyed, so shared clone ensures that each instance of a child actor has its own pool of memory to be erased when the player is stopped. http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361J-01/lvconcepts/reentrancy/

  • How to disable the overlay image download auto arrow app in FF39.

Open FF39. Cursor to touch any image launches an arrow downwards in a box to download the said image currently web page display. Arrow box often entirely obscures the image which can be a button to connect to a Web site. It is more than embarrassing. Download/arrow box frequently rejects the connection completely. How can I disable this feature of FF39 permanently?

It is not a built-in feature. Possibly added by your extension "Double-click Image Downloader"? Page of the extension indicates the download of a single click is optional, so I hope you can find the setting to turn it off. I would like to start page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a

How to make a simple slideshow DVD of a group of .jpg images?  No music, no fancy transition. iDVD > magic DVD comes close, but the quality is poor and I want the images in a specific order.  I also have iLIFE ' 09, which includes iPHOTO

    1. put the image files you want in the slide show in an album and genre as you want. Follow the Apple document to prepare images for iDVD: iDVD ' 09 (7.x): preparing images for iDVD slideshows

2 - Launch iDVD and select an older theme, not animated.  You can change the background of the theme by dragging the image file of your choice, black or other, in the display pane for the menu.

3 - Click on the button '+' and add a slideshow from the menu.

    4. double click on the sideshow button to enter the mode of construction of the slide show.

    5. in the media pane click the Photos button.

6 - click on iPhoto and find the album you created with selected images.

    7. Select all images in the album and drag to the left in the slide show window.

8 - Select the transition for the slideshow and the time for each slide on screen

9 - follow this workflow to help ensure the best DVD video qualty:

Once the project you want it save it as an image disk via the menu file → save as Disk Image . It will separate from the process of encoding of the burning process.

To check coding mount the disk image, launch a DVD player and read it.  If it plays OK with DVD, encoding is good.

Burn burn to disc with utility disk or toasts to the slowest speed (2 x - 4 x) in order to ensure the best quality.  Always use higher quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are recommended in these forums.

  • Z210 Workstation: EFI Image Restore failed - how to fix?

Some time previously, I installed a Win 7 64 bit OS to my Workstation Z210 manually using a MS. installation disc Then after a few other software installs and the mandatory and quite large OS updates that occur over time, I recently created a System Image on my USB HDD. I did not worth creating a startup of system repair disc, as I already had one from another system to Win7.

Now under the prepairing to sell this system, I thought I would try to restore the image of HP using HP Z210 recent system recovery disks. Unfortunately, just like a few years ago, the process failed with an unknown error after reboot.

No problem, I thought, since I got my Image from the previous system MS Win7

I tried my old boot system repair disc and I could see that MS Win7 system previous Image (represented by an EFI image) on my USB HDD. Unfortunately the image could not retrieve specifically, it failed with the message:

Windows cannot restore a system image on a computer with a different firmware. The system image was created on an EFI computer and this computer is using the BIOS.

So I checked this disc repair system and as suspected, it has only \boot and \sources directory and the file "bootmg" while MS Win7 install disk has the directories boot, /efi and /sources (amoungst a couple more) and the files 'bootmgr' and 'bootmgr.efi. Obviously MS decided that a system repair disc only has BIOS to start creating an installation on a system BIOS. Why MS would create such a frustrating limitation that I don't know

OK, simple solution would be to install Win7 MS EFI boot disc. So, insert my MS Win 7 installation disc in the DVD drive, restart and press F9, select source of boot EFI "hp CDDVDW SH-216AL" and press ENTER, the first message "press any key to boot from the CD or DVD... ». (This process should start the EFI to the installation DVD). Then the popup "Install windows" appears then I selects the appropriate time/currency area, click NEXT and select REPAIR...

Sounds simple, but it's a clumsy, such process designed by MS and I always get an error. Specifically, I get the following message:

This version of system recovery options is not compatible with the version of windows that you want to repair. Try to use a recovery disc that is compatible with this version.

Thinking that there is some inconsistancy somewhere, I wipe the HARD drive (deleted then recreated the raid volume) and try again, but all I get is the message first or second start EFI or BIOS feature...

Don't know what type of volume (MBR or GPT) the raid creation process creates and if this has something to do with the problem

Anyone know what may be the problem and how to fix it?

Well, it seems that somewhere between the use of the HP system recovery discs and or the key CTRL-I raid removal volume and recreation, I'm probably done with a MBR partition on my HARD drive. And it seems that den of the system doesn't seem to like the MBR with basic images EFI partitions

I solved the problem by EFI boot my drive MS Win7 install via F9 Boot Manager and start the installation process. Once the HARD drive has been formatted and files began to be copied on the HARD drive I had the power to force button shuts down the system. Then I still started EFI MS Win7 disk install via F9 and as previously made my way to the REPAIR option where I could see my system on the USB HDD Image. However, this time, he took the image and proceeded to again restore MS Win7 created the partition on the raid volume that I had created earlier.

Not really "QED", but rather a roundabout process fix MS poorly designed the system recovery process...

Frankly, the system repair disc must always have independent MRD/EFI startup options of the system it is created from. And repair of the system should ignore the partition types when you crush the HARD complete with a picture disc. In addition, the boot disk message «press any key to boot from the CD or DVD...» "Please indicate an EFI or MBR before you start word. Anything less just adds to the confusion and having to jump through hoops to get around this madness is just silly

  • Need for treatment of the base image, but only have Linux

Hello, I am pretty inexperienced and working on a project in which a device is attached to a moving stage of XY. The goal is for the camera to track toward moving below real-time, then follow them. To do this, I need a very basic image processing. However, I don't know how to order the engines for the X - Y stage without a tool only Linux, so I use Linux LabVIEW, which apparently does not support the NI Vision or MATLAB script nodes. I need to make a basic image processing (described below) very quickly, using the images I capture in LabVIEW. I know that Python, Java, MATLAB and c a little. Now all I can think is to make a C library that makes the treatment (despite my relative inexperience), then calling it a LabVIEW. That would be good because LabVIEW can pass the image of C by reference, while I do not know how to interface with MATLAB or Python without, say, a TCP connection, which would not be able to use pass by reference (I think?) Are there other ways to achieve this? Perhaps a clever way to interface with MATLAB, or is there a way to get the Vision in LabVIEW for Linux? Most importantly, it's just to find the center of mass of the very black worm, so it should be easy: simply restrict the image of a region of interest, threshold, choose the largest connected blob and calculate the center of mass. However, I might later want also to seek points of calibration on the image; I think it would be easier to just pull long, straight lines, under the camera, then detect those somehow. Thank you!

I'm trying to edit text on a picture and it has a background, I don't want to lose the bottom.  How can I do this using paint?

If image launched initially with a word in the background, you can't change it with paint. You can write a note on top of it so you cover, but you can consider using Adobe Photoshop.

Of principle photography is now over and I just got the photos back and they are huge (one pic that will print on two pages has dimensions of 7276 x 4856-30, 0 "x 20.2" and is 10.52 MB disk size).

I'm learning InDesign by posting tutorials on adobe.com, watching everything I can find on YouTube and through the publication of the classroom in a book on InDesign CC.

I want to know is what you people - experts - recommend it to someone doing what I try to do with the beginner skills that I possess.  I have very strong skills in Muse, edge, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and other and am comfortable with the keyboard shortcuts and basic images and placement concepts learned during the use of these programs.  But the page layout / desktop publishing is a new frontier for me.

I have noticed one thing, it's that when I place an image in a frame on two facing pages, get out of the frame on the edges of the purge and adjust the image to proportionally fill the frame, it looks very pixelated.  What is a function of the massive downsizing?  Do I need to have an additional post-production work on the images themselves?
