  I have a fairly new retina 12 inch MacBook. Twice now, it died on me while it is plugged. I would like to close the MacBook with perhaps 20% left on the battery, close it, Plug and when I open it later - expecting a charge of 50% - the Macbook would be dead - 0% load.

  Does anyone have the same boring experience? No idea where things might go wrong?

  -Load and Sleep USB
  -Wake On LAN
  -Wake on keyboard

  Also to do a BIOS update, the last seems to be 1.90 according to the Toshiba site.

  My battery has stopped when I plug my laptop into the outlet to charge. It keeps losing the battery life until there is zero load and then shuts down. Then only it will allow me to charge the battery.

  The only other option that I seem to have is to turn off my computer, close all documents and leave it for 15 minutes before plugging it into the power outlet.

  It's obviously very disturbing! Can anyone help?

  You are able to use the laptop without battery plugged in but plugged in?
  If the adapter is ok, you should be able to use the laptop connected to the mains only

  Let's assume that the adapter is ok in this case either battery or electronic power supply which is part of the motherboard is likely wrong function
  It s hard to tell if your battery is defective, what needs to be tested but I think that it is not worth buying a new battery just for test purposes so I would ask a technician to check it out before you buy a new game.

  In my view, the question in the battery mechanism, not as the battery discharges. Try to go through a few complete cycles of load (load completely, run on battery until it stops, then load entirely new) so he could re - calibrate and see if that fixes it.

  Software Power Manager is 6.32

  This is the first laptop I have (I've always been using desktop computers) and I first noticed that leave my laptop in standby drain the battery to 10%/hour, so I decided to let him hibernate instead. Same thing happens, the battery drains to 10%/hour, so I try to stop... Same thing happens, battery drains to 10%/hour. So I removed the battery waited several hours, he plugged back in and noticed that he do NOT drain in any significant quantity. All this happens when the laptop is not reloaded also.   I found a solution to the problem. All I had to do was disable quick start settings in power options. Now, there is no noticeable drain when the laptop is turned off!
