  Thank you for your help, I tried to delete - reboot - reinstall nothing helped, I finished restoring the factory settings, and then software update operating system via the Desktop Manager before you attempt to upgrade from bbm, all now works well again...

• Integration of BBM to update status when the user has not created BBM

  We have integrated the update of the status of BBM in our application.

  When the user opens the application they are requested permission to allow the application to access the BBM.

  Then, there is an alert message which says that BBM implemented is necessary to connect to the app with options to cancel or continue.

  If a user cancels out of the aler, they can always proceed through the app, but when they get to the point where they can hit a link to update their status, that nothing is happening.

  I want to know how to do is that if somebody hits cancel rather than implementation of surveys BBM can we set a flag to hide the update status BBM feature?

  Seems a bit odd to require someone to set up BBM but let them still cancel and run the application.  Aware that this should be handled but don't know where to do

  BBM must be installed before an application can complete the BBM registration process.  If they cancelled out of this process, you will get a value of successful registration.  You must activate the features BBM of your application after a successful registration.

  We still allow the user to run the application, because they may not want to configure BBM, but continue to use the application.

  1. You need security wipe on your old blackberry device.
  2. Then remove the display on your previous picture, and it will show also no pictures on blackberry priv.

  Hello, am happy they have added this feature to BBM on Android, but the problem is that I can't click on it on BBM, it seems like the whole (button) is not operational, all other buttons are clickable and works perfectly, but not the '+ Add Catergory', I hope someone has a solution that can post here, or we get a new update setting for devices that are facing this problem. I have a galaxy S2 i9100, I know that few people have the same problem, others are not good, I hope they notice this bug and fix as soon as possible.

  I found a solution for this problem , I found a back door on how to add a category instead of this button in the menu, go to contacts > stranglehold on a contact you want to put in a category > select move contact > buttom of the page, you will find a button that says "+ Add category, this one is clickable" , you can add categories from here I hope this helps people who have the same problem!

However I read about a new update of bbm on Web sites and hear things from my friends who use it. Can someone advise me on when it will be available for my phone, or why I have not upgraded yet?

  If you are talking about the most recent update published BBM on 31/10/2014 that includes timer and retraction of message, then you can't. The update was available to users of Android, iOS, and BlackBerry 10. No update for Blackberry OS legacy still. See you soon!

  Hello, as many other users reviewed, new update presents a very annoying problem with WiFi on android, when you switch from mobile data, wifi, bbm works you just manually stop and re-open it again so messages can go through, send or receive both... Is there a fix... BBM is aware of this huge problem? Is actually unusable on platform android from now thanks!

But when I had a BlackBerry BBM would show what I listened to, I see this option is also IOS, I have it on but it does not show what I am liestning to, it's just me / do I need to do something about it?   The most common thing to do after an update which results in problems is to perform an OS reload. Sometimes the update process have errors and others... with a reload often cure the problems.

  The problem is solved with deletion of security.

  As I noticed the bizarre behavior of the phone, I did wipe security and not installed the backup (just to be sure nothing will be broken the phone even once).

  Phone works well, even if I don't have any history of the conversation.
