Beyond the MCP Certification

Hello

I know that everyone learn the habits are different and age make a difference?  who knows...

But I remember taking my exam MCP 2 times... when I went there the 2nd time it was so Excilirating to me.

I've been in the computer industry for many years, and you would think that I would have more qualities even if I do something good!

What I want to do is to get some suggestions on how to update my MCP to something more common and more in line with what I'm doing in reality on the ground.

He is currently a GPE for Windows 2000 (don't laugh)... lol anyway... I'm not a very good test taker it's course, but I'd really like to update my

Certification to something more current.  Can anyone offer any suggestions please?   I don't want to go to extremes, but I would definitely intensify it at least

a notch and continually to hold current.

The workplace, I am now is in the corporate world with Windows 7 Enterprise, Exchange 2013 (for messaging outlook 2013).

We have a mixture of Office 2010, Office 2013, as well as Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit and 64-bit.

I heard nothing on the subject of Windows 8 for anytime soon, although maybe you could shed some light on this front in the corporate environments... ???

Well well, thanks a lot for your time!

I wish you well and happy computing!

    Maybe your Windows operating system is confusing upward.

    Have you tried to boot Win 7 in safe mode?
    Try this. Restart your laptop, press the F8 key.
    In advanced startup options, select the option called Mode without failure.

    If the laptop does not start Safe Mode, try the last good known Configuration option.

    If this n t help, try to fix my computer. Here, you can choose between different settings.

  • Out of bounds (beyond the end of the memory block) pointer argument

    Hello

    I write a program to control the power supply. One of the functions is to set the voltage and current in the table.

    When I run it, it displays the following error message:

    "Off-shore argument pointer (beyond the end of the block of memory) '

    Could someone help me with this?

    Thank you!

    This function code is as below:

    int CVICALLBACK SetValueCallBack (int, int int event, control panel,
    void * callbackData, int eventData1, int eventData2)
    {
    switch (event)
    {
    float Voltage_Set, Current_Set;
    int TimeSet;
    int lines;
    char VoltageSetBuff [30];
    char CurrentSetBuff [30];

    case EVENT_COMMIT:

    GetCtrlVal (panelHandle, PANEL_SETVOLTAGE, & Voltage_Set);
    GetCtrlVal (panelHandle, PANEL_SETCURRENT, & Current_Set);
    GetCtrlVal (panelHandle, PANEL_SETTIME, & TimeSet);
    GetCtrlVal (panelHandle, PANEL_SETROW, & RowSet);

    sprintf (VoltageSetBuff, "%2.2f", Voltage_Set);
    sprintf (CurrentSetBuff, "%2.2f", Current_Set);

    SetTableCellVal (panelHandle, PANEL_TABLE, MakePoint 1, lines, VoltageSetBuff);
    SetTableCellVal (panelHandle, PANEL_TABLE, MakePoint (2 lines), CurrentSetBuff);
    SetTableCellVal (panelHandle, PANEL_TABLE, MakePoint (3 lines), TimeSet);

    break;
    }
    return 0;
    }

    I am able to reproduce the problem, if I see the problem on the line just before the one you mention. I think it's probably because the variables declared inside a switch statement before the case labels are not initialized the same way as other variables are.* If move you these variable declarations before the passage, I think you will find that your mistakes disappear:

    int CVICALLBACK SetValueCallBack (int, int int event, control panel,
    void * callbackData, int eventData1, int eventData2)
    {
    float Voltage_Set, Current_Set;
    int TimeSet;
    int lines;
    char VoltageSetBuff [30];
    char CurrentSetBuff [30];

    switch (event)
    {
    case EVENT_COMMIT:

    ...

    I'll file a bug report to make sure that this gets more studied.

    * Note that the rules of the C language, even initialization explicitly (for example int TimeSet = 10 ;)-this position inside the switch has no effect!

    PC is a Dell Vostro 1510, it is only a couple of years.

    Can someone please?

    The initial problem was that the PC did not go beyond the page of Windows to start upward. So I had to do an installation of the Dell windows XP disk repair. But I couldn't boot from the CD, (even after changing in the system BIOS boot order) to work around this problem, so I had to disable the boot on the other upward options being - HDD, USB etc. so only if it start from the disc.

    After completing the first part of the repair facility, the PC restarted to complete the second part of the installation, however I got an error message "the Kernel32.dll file is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the checksum calculated.

    After some research, I solved this problem by using the windows recovery console to extract a new copy of the kernel32.dll from the windows XP disc. It seemed to work. The second part of the window repair facility restarted successfully, but now the problem is it will not complete installation, it gets stuck/not will not go beyond the 26 minute mark during the phase of "complete installation."

    It has been full of hiccups. I'm not a person of computer tech at all, but have managed to get so far at this stage.  Can someone please please help, very much appreciated.
    Thanks :)

    When I turn on my psc2110xi and it tries to self-test, the scanner bar will stop not to its normal resting point.  He keeps trying to continue beyond the stop on the right end of the return.   I turn it off, wait a few minutes, try again with the same results.  This machine worked without problem since the day that I bought it new.  Is there a stop that must be verified or the belt may have slipped out of position?  I removed the top of the machine using the directions from hp to clean the inside of the glass to get to try to resolve the problem.  Thanks for reading!

    Hello

    It seems to be a failure of the scanner module, which cannot be repaired.

    IAM afraid, it is time to replace the printer.

    computer restored IBM won't let me go beyond the introduction of identy... closes and restarts the computer to the same: Enter name and ID... then again, it does the same thing.  How can I save this monster?

    Hello

    First, disconnect all the external devices connected to the computer, and then try to start and check what is happening. If the same happens, then you can try to start in safe mode and check if you are able to boot to the desktop. Only basic files and drivers needed to run Windows are started. If a problem doesn't reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic as possible cause device drivers. To start in safe mode follow the link.

    Start your computer in safe mode
