Big white spot on XBR65X850D new

This big white point has just appeared this morning on my 65x850D XBR. TV is only 2 months old. I called Sony support and they will not fix it. They said it must be greater than 100 pixels. So apparently I spent 2 grand on a TV and got a nice white point to go with it. Awesome SONY, good job!

This isn't the solution. You know what was the solution? Had a relationship with SONY. I have 5 PS3, PS4 3 and a few 4 k SONY TV whose size varies from 65 "- 75". You know what else. I will never buy another. Your solution is repasted *. You guys might as well be a kind of automatic response system. Yes its dirt or a stain. People pay thousands of dollars for electronics and live in dirty houses and didn't clean our TV screens. What would you say this one, SONY products have lately been *. I have shouldve stuck with OLED LG or Samsung. They will be; service at least of their products. I went back to buy Besy, where I am Premier Elite, they swapped TV no questions asked. It was beyond the return date, but they appreciate me as a customer that I spend 20 grand or more a year ago. So SONY, you can * my *.

How about you, you mark this as a solution you * *.

  • Why a big white box appears on my desktop, using Windows 7, after going on the Internet?

I have a brand new PC running Windows 7.  After that all three times I use the Internet, I get a big white box on my desk that simply will not disappear (the white box is visible once IE is closed).  After the computer restarts, it disappears but it always comes back.  One small thing that works is by clicking at the bottom right of the screen.  There's a small rectangle down there, and when I click it, the white box disappears.  If I click on the rectangle, again, white box comes back.  It is not prevent all functions, but its really annoying, especially on a brand new computer. Any info would be great!

    Hi dmbfan,

From what I understand I think it's a page of Internet Explorer (IE) that does not close properly. I suggest you run Internet Explorer mode without modules and see if the problem repeats.

    Follow the steps to do the same;

Step 1: Run Internet Explorer in "no Add-ons" mode

Add-on Internet Explorer, such as ActiveX controls and browser toolbars, are used by some Web sites to provide a better browsing experience. An error may occur if an add-on is damaged or if an add-on conflicts with Internet Explorer. To determine if the error is caused by an add-on, run Internet Explorer in "no Add-ons" mode To do this, follow these steps:

    1) click Start and type Internet Explorer in the box to start the search.
    2) click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Internet Explorer opens without Add-ons, toolbars, or plug-ins.
    (3) test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly.

If the problem does not persist in no add-on mode so you can follow the steps below to use the Manage Add-ons to determine which add-on is causing the problem

Step 2: Use the tool of management of Add-ons in Internet Explorer to individually disable each add-on to determine which add-on is causing errors. To do this, follow these steps:

    Internet explore 8

    1. open Internet Explorer 8.
    2. click on tools and then click on Manage Add-ons.
    3. in the drop-down view menu, select all add-ons to display all the modules that are installed on the computer.
    4. for each element in this list, select the add-on, and then click Disable in the information window.
    5. When you have disabled all the items in this list, click OK.
    6. exit and then restart Internet Explorer.
    7. If the problems do not recur, repeat steps 1 to 3.
    8. click on activate for a simple add-on.
    9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 until you determine which add-on causes errors occur.

After you have used this process to determine which add-on causes errors, you can disable this add-on. Or, you can uninstall the software that installs the add-on. We also recommend that you contact the software vendor that provided the add-on for additional troubleshooting and support.

  • white spots in first cs5

This is the first time I had this problem... Problem has occurred on two occasions.

#1. When I inserted a mpg in the timeline, then time remapped to extend time (500% or something like that) and I got a few black images (maybe 20 or more) to separate parts of the clip.  remapping back to the original speed did NOT help.  I had to delete and insert re.

#2 when I inserted a mpg in the timeline, I cut a scene and placed a transition melted on the front.  Was beautiful.  Then I made in the area of work and suddenly the whole scene (5 seconds or more) is empty.  Transition only showed the decrease of the previous scene and was EMPTY for the duration of the famous scene.  I used the stage of the source (the full clip whence my second stage 5) more than once in the timeline.but now I pulled the active set in the timeline and made him and now the active set has white spots.  assets looks good in the control screen.  I do not know.  Help, please.

Also, I read in some "no adobe" forum where a guy had a similar problem and the solution was to use the command "Insert" instead of slip and fall... but is it REALLY the method adobe recommends?  In my experience, you NEVER know when a scene is going to do, even after that that he has placed and examined.  Frusterating.  Help, please.

seems to me that you have a corrupted project file... Try A) removing your previews and pref and restart the program. If this does not work, try B) create a new project and import your current one in and see if that solves your problem.

  • Portege Z830 white spots - refusal of warranty

I have a Portege Z830. For several months, I have 2 white spots on the screen. I went to the service company official for the Bulgaria - Stemo Ltd. - which examined the computer and told me that I did this white spots by myself.

It's amazing! I leaned on the screen with a screwdriver trying to make a white spot imagined.

Seriously, impossible user by all means to make this white spots. It is a malfunction of the display and the refusal of the Stemo to replace or repair, it is not understandable.

I am adding photos of the screen with visible stains.

Please help or just take in mind the reaction of the Stemo.

Indeed, the screenshots show two points of light on the screen and it looks like display malfunction.

Usually if the warranty is valid, hardware problems (if it's not your fault) should be fixed free of charge.

So I hope that someone will get in touch with you to clarify this matter.

  • Small white spots on the screen (no pixels dead) of RMB

This week, when I opened my MacBook on the screen, I saw on the white spots screen 12 ". At first, I thought maybe would it be a beat on the screen but a quick wipe down and a thorough inspection of different angles confirmed that it was something else. I closed and turned back RMB. The small bright white spots were persistent, although only perceptible in the middle of a dark background, or when the Sun is reflected on the screen.

Everyone has the same problem or knows what is the best solution for this problem? I don't have a case at Apple yet, because I am in doubt if Apple repair this under warranty on the other I need to get in touch with my insurance company.

It reminds me of all the problems with the Retina on the MacBook Pro screens (you can search "Staingate" in Google). If the MacBook is under warranty, you must make a backup of your data and take it to an Apple Store or dealer, so that you can get your MacBook repaired.

  • Qosmio X 870-white spots on screen

My Qosmio X 870 is 8 months old and have noticed white spots in the middle of the screen (more about half higher and mainly in the Center and go to the right of the screen).

They are pretending be worse. When I go to a dark wallpaper that they stand as stained spots - more than anything else. I notice the most when I'm brighter games as tasks and it starts to get boring. I read on another page that it would be urgent foam top but not sure.

Any ideas - would like to have an idea before I take it to be fixed.

    >... would have an idea until I get it fixed.
I don't think it's so important. Is your laptop must be fixed so don t waste your time and contact as soon as possible the nearest Toshiba service provider.

Laptop warranty valid so repair should be free.

    Good luck.

  • White spot in left corner when Hibernation inexplicable

    Hello

If I spend my yoga with Windows 8.1 in hibernation mode and restart it, I have on the desktop of windows (also on the execution of windows programs) a white spot on the top left corner. The place appears on the start screen and modern applications of Windows. If I have normal shutdown and restart the spot is also not visible. Does anyone know about this problem. I found similar problems via google about Windows 7 where it was a problem of AERO. But it does not work for Windows 8.1

    Take WinLister:
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/winlister.html

See what's inside a list corresponding to this area.
Will probably take place (0,0) and size (4.4) or something.

  • White spots on the screen

IAM having white spots on the screen.

It therefore appears as a white light spot when the screen has a light background. On a screen darker it disappears completely. The spot is a few millimetres in size. My system is lenovo Z50-70.

should I have to replace the screen?

as long as you don't have more than three dead pixels, lenovo warranty covers the replacement if they do not change the conditions.

  • I have asked before: RE: white spot on desktop

    This is the error message.

    Line: 30

    Char: 3

    : Error loading the DLL

    Code: 0

    URL: File:///C:/Program%20Files/Dell%20Support%20Center/sscommon/common/inc/ss_shellinclude.js

It seems to have something to do with your Dell Support Center.  What is the make and model and the product Tag of your computer?

In the meantime, we may be able to get rid of the white spot (which is probably a hidden Dell notification).

Go tohttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and run Autoruns and click all.  Look for anything that is related to Dell and when you find unxheck the box to prevent it from start to start.  Check the entire list as there may be several entries.  When you're done, click OK and restart.   The white spot should be gone.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

If this does not work, will have to wait for the information on your computer to find the right download for trying to solve the problem.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • white spots on the screen of the touchpad

I just got a 32 GB touchpad. I noticed that there are some white spots on the screen. One of them near the top left of the screen is very notciable but only on a clear background as white and light gray. The special white spot appears brighter than the background (slightly bluish). It is about 2-3mm in the Center and extends the region approximately 10 mm. Also, anyone notice the same thing?

I would not bother to repair unless the white spots get more over time. I wonder if this is a sign of failure. Thank you.

P.S. shapes of white spots appear similar to these well-known yellow spots on ipad 2.

OK, answered my own question. After some Internet research, I am convinced the white spots (or stains specifically) are "pressure damage. It could have happened during the Assembly process. Some have said that this kind of problem could get worse with time (as one of my LCD monitors). In any case, I discuss with CS and they will repair screen touchpad for me.

  • Get rid of white spots on the old photo

    Hello

What would be the best way to get rid of white spots on the attached picture?

    Thank you!

    img_larg.jpg

Most of them can be fixed with the Checker task tool. The brush can create problems you may need to use the clone tool. If the task is small blur can also be used. Which is kind of how works the filter spot and scratch.

  • Why the Clone/Heal tool does not remove a white spot?

After being embarrassed by failing to check the Clone/heal tool to ensure that the opacity has been properly resolved, I am encouraged to ask another question which is not affected by the appropriate correction that in fact the tool works very well in most cases. However, the LR4 (and previously LR 3) use) iMac 27 quad) at odd intervals, some images present themselves with a single white spot, usually on a blue background, which cannot be removed or cloned with the LR Clone/heal tool. It can be removed with the cloning tool in PS, but not in the LR. I don't know whence the tasks. Sometimes they appear in a sequence of 3-4 or just individually. A copy of one is attached here. I don't know if this place is an aberration in LR or my cameras. As it happened with different cameras, I assume that there is a problem with the LR. Any comments?

It looks like an adjustment brush.

Hit your adjustment brush and see if a PIN is displayed. Select the Pin and remove it.  The task disappears? If so, that's the problem. Double check to ensure that it is not part of a series of strokes on the image somewhere else.
