  As for the future, I recommend that you update the BIOS by downloading the ISO image, burn the image and boot from the CD to update instead of Windows Update.   Have you had the recovery.cap ISO HUU for the ISO c240 (see screenshot)?

  Make sure the USB is formatted, and only the image of recovery.cap is inside.
