Black line through all pages HP Officejet 8500 A909a

We've had this printer for some time at the office and not even a week ago, he started printing with a black line across all pages. Normally, that would be a problem with the head of the cleaner. FAKE! He is not the head of the cleaner. It will print the computer without the black line, and when something is printed glass monitor it won't be a black line in my documents. The only time where it appears is when I print copies of the Lac. It also occurs when we fax some of our documents to some of our major customers and businesses.

We NEED this to work. What could be the problem? It must be well fixed as SOON AS POSSIBLE! It is urgent that I get a response on what I can do for this printer. Faxes should be sent each day of our office. I have just files accumulate on my desk. Help!

Thank you!

There is a small section (about 1 "wide) of glass which is used for the ADF to scan.  It's just to the left of the main window, see this post for more details.  A stain on the glass turns into a line, as the paper is fed through the document feeder.  This section of cleaning should solve the problem.

    Windows rt officejet 8500 A909a

I try to use my printer HP Officejet 8500 A909a on my rt Surface. My list of devices shows the printer, but indicates that it is not compatible with this version of Windows. I check the site of Microsoft for compatibility of this printer and it shows that it is compatible. I tried to vote that it is not compatible, and my vote never registered. What gives. This printer is supported in RT or not? If it is supported, how to configure it?

  • OfficeJet 8500 A909a: Drivers won't load not

I try to install my Officejet 8500 A909a (that I have connected to my wireless network) on my laptop. I go to the tab drivers and software, select the correct printer, and brings it to the top of the page where it is supposed to compile the list of drivers. The page says "HP is compile your results." It could take up to 3 minutes, depending on the speed of your computer and connection. Thank you for your patience. "The page has been loading for more than 30 minutes without any search results. I tried to add the printer in the "devices and printers". The printer is recognized by the laptop, but do not print due to not having a driver. Help! The printer works for all tablets and phones in the House, but not to a laptop!

  • HP officejet 8500 A909a: HP OFFICEJET 8500 a. slow to START printing. Runs fine once it begins to print.

My officejet 8500 A909a worked fine on windows Vista.  Suddenly he began to hesitate for a minute or two before starting to print.  Once it starts printing it seems to work ok.  I installed the new drivers and firmware to try and solve the problem but to no avail.  It almost seemed to get worse after that.

    Hi @officejet8500,

Please first as part of the procedure described in the document of the all-in-one printer HP Officejet Pro 8500 (A909a) - slow Windows printing .

  • scanning of a document of several pages of hp 8500 a909a results in the separate analyses for each page

I have a MacBookAir operating on the latest version of the Apple software, Lion. I have an OfficeJet 8500 A909a. I want to scan a document of several pages of the scanner in my computer. I want to use the document feeder. The document feeds into the scanner, but each page is scanned in a separate file. I want each page to analyze successively in a single file. I am a new user of MacBook. (My Dell Windows based computer can do this successfully.)

OK, so you use scan apple in this case. When you are at step 7 in your list, there should be a button to view the details, click on that. You should now see the option to format along the right, set it to the PDF format, and a box should appear saying combine single-file.

  • HP Officejet 8500 a e-all-in-one: Officejet 8500 A progressively less black ink prints

    Greetings,

I have an Officejet 8500 a e-all-in-one, which was a little finiky when it print black ink. It prints well in the morning and for most of the day, but sometimes late in the afternoon, it will print progressively less black ink until it stops completely. When he is left alone during the night, it will start printing without any problems again in the morning. The amount that we will print does not seem to have an effect. It will do the days where we printed almost anything just as often we are printing constantly throughout the day.

There is a laptop connected via the USB port and two other people who connect via radio. A computer has 10 64 - bit Windows, Windows 64 - bit to 8.1, the last is a macbook. Printing problems are are produced through two connections.

There is no problems with the ink cartridges, they are brand new and in Full ink levels report.

The printer has aligned the printheads several times with success.

I ran to the printhead cleaning several times and it had no effect.

I took the print heads and cleaned the contacts on the back and in the machine.

There has been no error on machines or computers.

At this point I'm not sure if it's a matter of ink clogged or if it is somehow overheating.

  • Using every night and compared to IE where I don't have a problem, there are black lines on all the pages of certain facilities of forum. Have screenshot.

At first, I was told it was my video driver, but maybe it could be the motherboard. However, IE on the same pages of vBulletin does not horizontal black lines thin and thick, as shown in my screen shopt.

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox (you will need to close and restart Firefox).

  • M3035: LaserJet M3035 Intermittent black lines on any Page, no question of Scanner Laser

Currently of problems with two of these Multifunction products.

Machine 1 # started a week ago and a half, intermittent lines that seem to be a problem of HVPS, (power supply high voltage).  Two lines on the page between the longitudinal edges, lines appear blurry.

There are three printers M3035 in this room, machine #2 is mainly used for file scanning and until about 2 weeks ago was not used for printing.

When #1 didn't #2 toner cartridge was traded in #1, (and #1 cartridge # 2), number one has always had the same problem so I ordered a HVPS.

The next day, I was out and another Tech looked #1 and decided that it needed a transfer roller and also decided to Exchange #1 to #3, given that the person using #1 was printing which were to be made where they are not accessible to everyone.

A few pages of test were performed on #3 and they looked good, so no. 3 has been moved into the Office next to #1.

When #3 was turned on and tested, it was printed lines across the page!

Since #3 is running on the power of the cable #1 cable has been replaced with a new cable.  The output has been verified for correct wiring, (tester used wiring available at Home Depot, etc.) and I took out my meter and the good test line and remained strong throughout testing printing.

An extension has been completed past another outlet to verify that the problem was not gout and #3 failed again.

#1 has been moved to the office #3 has and has been tested, he had problems, but they were slightly different, there was a grey shading across the entire page, because it was new I swapped the toner with #2 (this replace the original toner # 1) and #1 worked well, but was so #2.

At this point, it was late on a Friday so that the print was made in another room and the problem put off until Monday.

    (will continue in another post)

This printer has the same engine as the P3005 and there is a question that has been pretty common on this printer and it's the block of ground on the left side.  There is a mech that when you open the toner door separates a spring load piece since the acutal post that goes against the drum unit on this side of the Earth.  When you install the toner and close the door mechs two-piece flat against them and provide the grounding.  You will see I think that red ground wire that attaches from the bottom.  Most of the time the solution is very easy.  I just take a big piece of cardboard and paste it between the 2 black pieces of the MAN.  It remains in place because of the spring mech that keeps the two pieces together.  Once done, who takes care of the issue.  The lines that you get at least in my experience are caused by a lack of firm ground.  If you can recreate the lines still just have side trim left and just press the black mech and make a test and I do not know that the lines will be gone.  I repaired probably at least a couple of dozen of those printers who had this problem using the same procedure.  You can see the other two printers as it is a very common problem.  According to me, that the parties are called upon to lever earthing contact.  Chances are that supply high voltage was good.

  • Black lines across the page

Each page that print includes a greyish black line.  How can I eliminate this line?

    Hi BlueEyedPea,

Your printer would require an intervention... If you get the patches even a photocopy of his problem with the printer... You can try to clean the cartridge of the printer and see if it solves your problem else, you need to get in touch with your retailer of printer...

Remove the cartridge and try clean and then align.

Check out: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/prn942/en/om/942_om_en.pdf on how to align the cartridge.

    I hope this helps.

  • Illustrator CS5 - black lines along all paths

I'm fairly new to Illustrator, so maybe it's something incredibly simple and obvious, but it has been driving me crazy for the last hour. My google searches have been so completely sterile.

My problem is that on one of my files (a simple logo I work), all roads have a black line along them. It is not the parameters of the race, which was the only thing I could think that could be, many of the paths have features on them, and the good race shows, but with a black line on top of it. The lines appear in the exported files, or when the files are open in photoshop, but the black lines do not appear when I isolate paths.

If anyone can help me with this, it would be highly appreciated (and save tear my hair out me)

The extra loop can also have been applied within the group or level of the layer in order to check that also.

  • HP Officejet 8500, A909a series, scanning, fax or copy

Whenever I scan, copy or fax documents usning the auto feed on top of the printer, the documents resulting from this process themselves with a line down the center of the document.  What causes cela and how to eliminate the line?  If I use the glass screen, the documents do not have a line through them.

I would like to clean the scanner bed and the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) to remove any buildup that could cause this quality problem that you are experiencing. Pages 184 to 188 in the manual for your model of printer has instructions to clean all parts of the appliance that could cause the problem. I would start with the ADF since it is the part that is in use when you report the problem. Here is the link to your manual.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600: Vertical black line scanned single pages and copied

The machine is about a year and treats a low volume (less than 100pgs/mth on average between pages sent from the computer, copying and scanning). Pages sent from the computer continue to print well, but for the last scan of the month or copy functions always produce pages with a thin (1 mm?) black vertical line in the middle of the page.

Have cleaned the glass several times but no joy.

    Solution (s)?

    THX.

Followed all the steps in case a link down to "shine a flashlight on the glass" and the flashlight revealed a tiny particle not detected previously, glued to the glass despite several cleanings. Once deleted, the line has disappeared. Thnaks for the end of the flashlight.

  • disorder of the copy or scan, just the shows up as vertical black lines on the page

I have a HP Envy 120 printer all-in-one.  It prints very well.  But when I saw something to copy, it's just all black vertical lines.  No light in the scan bar.  I had HP replace my printer with a new printer and the same thing happens.  Anyone have any ideas?  I have a laptop with Windows 7.  Have used the printer for 5 or 6 months, but use only a few times a month, so did not notice a problem immediately the Copier.  Spent 4 hours on the phone with technical support who said first the version of the firmware to put up-to-date, but he was able to complete correctly.  He suggested that I had a surge in my wall connection, but that wouldn't make much sense given that I had just plugged the new printer to try and nothing else on this decision was having problems...

Hi teropt. Reset of the printer and plug it directly into a wall outlet are a very important step to do if you do not have.

This document covers troubleshooting for "Copies or Scans have vertical strips of black Pages or lines:
