Black metro screen reader Windows 8

Hi guys, it seemed to me the my windows drive metro is facing a problem nowadays.

After that I open a pdf file, it works normally for a few second and then some of the page turned black in the background. The photos that I read in the file download confusion too.
I reinstall the drive itself in the windows store, but it gives me no change at all.
Can someone give a hand?

You could forget the Reader App and download and install this program and it that make you default PDF reader.

  • Black screen on Windows 8.1 Upgrade?

    Hello!

    Note: I have an Aspire V5-471G53334G50Mass

    So, I just upgraded to 8.1 connection and for some reason, after I have Windows, black on screen. I tried to use Safe Mode, but the same thing.

    My assumptions are:
    -Installation of the former driver of GPU from Intel (the one that is for any Windows up to 8 years) from Windows Update.
    -Have an old Acer X153W as a second screen.
    -Do not install the right GPU NVIDIA driver (installed: 331.61 I think)
    -Do not install a display driver I know.

    What are your assumptions? Help, please! I had a large IT project, which is expected Monday and my project is on my laptop and I can't open my laptop and ruin! Thank you for any assistance.

    Hi mayood00

    Did you check the support site Acer for your region see if there is an updated driver to use with 8.1?

    Your guesses may have reason. If nothing seems to remedy, I fear that you may need to recover your computer to 8.0, but be aware that doing so may erase everything there!

  • Black screen of Windows RESUME Loader

    I use Windows Vista on a laptop Everex NC1510.  When I try to start it I get a black screen titled "Windows resume Loader.  When I said "Continued with the summary of the system" and press the Enter key to select this option, nothing happens.  The computer continues to be stuck on this screen.  I bought a new computer, but it's out of warranty.  I have misplaced the Windows restore disc (in fact I don't ever remember have one).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

    Here is the info on the recovery media, as you say that you do not have a Vista disc.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • After using a third party partition manager program left to extend my Windows 8 partition, the system of Windows 8 start to a black screen and Windows 8 partition of the drive letter has changed

    Original title: problems of Windows 8

    I have Windows 7 (32 bit) and Windows 8 (64-bit) is installed in a dual boot. I tried to extend the partition of Windows 8 with a third party partition manager. Subsequently, I restarted after having learned so much.

    Later, the first thing I saw was that the locked screen image is replaced by a blue color. Photos of the user are also missing. Once connected, it took a long time for windows everything ready, and I'm stuck in a black screen with the mouse pointer.

    I entered in Safe Mode and found that the drive for Windows 8 letter has been changed (C: = Windows 7;) D: = recovery partition; E: = Windows 8, new drive letter; F: = Windows 8, old drive letter), I tried to change the drive letter, but it does not work.

    Partition of Windows 7 works well (it is what I currently use to put this problem), and I can access the data in the partition of Windows 8. I tried the methods of different repair without result (such as chkdsk and sfc/scannow).

    Can someone help me with this please? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

    I understand that you have a problem of black screen with Windows 8 and the drive letter for the partition of Windows 8 is also changed. This problem is due to the use of the third party partition manager program because it affects the registry files and causes the instability of the system.

    Try to run auto repair from the Windows recovery environment and check if that helps.

    Method 1: start the recovery environment with installation of Windows 8 media.

    It is another way to boot the PC and launch recovery tools when something goes wrong with the operating system.

    Please follow the steps below. Insert the DVD to install Windows 8 on DVD-ROM and restart your computer.

    (a) once you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.

    (b) select the good time and the type of keyboard .

    (c) click on repair your computer in the lower left corner.

    (d) select Troubleshooting to Choose an option screen.

    (e) click on advanced options in Troubleshooting screen.

    (f) click Auto repair of Advanced Options screen.

    (g) following, choose the operating system by clicking on its button.

    (h) Windows 8 will be looking for problems on the hard drives and verify that all required files are intact.

    Method 2: Run the restoration of the system of the Advanced Options screen.

    System Restore to restore your computer to a previous state, quickly and easily without losing any of your files and personal settings. Sometimes when you install programs or drivers, they can affect some system settings and prevent other programs to function properly. You can use system restore to restore these settings to their previous state

    Follow these steps:

    (a) once you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.

    (b) select the good time and the type of keyboard .

    (c) click on repair your computer in the lower left corner.

    (d) select Troubleshooting from the Choose an option screen.

    (e) click on advanced options in Troubleshooting screen.

    (f) select System restore.

    After the system restore your documents and files will always remain to their previous state.

    If you do not install Windows 8 media, I suggest you connect to any other computer and create a floppy disk to install Windows 8. Using this disk, you can run the troubleshooting provided methods.

    How to create the installation media for a PC refresh or reset:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

    You can also try the same steps using the bootable USB key. You must select USB as the first boot to the BIOS device.

    Note: Microsoft don't recommend any third-party partition manager program because it corrupts the registry files and cause the instability of the system.

    Write to us if you're still having problems. We will help you.

    Kind regards

  • JAWS screen reader and Chat in AdobeConnect window

    Hello, I recently organized an online seminar for a group of people with disabilities from around the world. I noticed that participants blind and vision did not participate in the chat and monitoring window with one of them subsequently. A participant from the India, who use screen-reading technology JAWS said:

May be, it is accessible with an improved version of the JAWS. »

    Is there a certain version of JAWS that users must have to be compatible with the function of Chat window? Or would he have been user error? I would like to know if there is advice we can give to our participating future Webinars, as we often have people with various disabilities. Thank you!

    Hello Ashley!

    The white paper http://wwwimages.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/education/pdfs/adobe-connect-accessibility-wp.pdf says JAWS 11 as a benchmark.

    A much longer and wider thread on Connect & accessibility is at http://webaim.org/discussion/mail_thread?thread=4392. You can extract some information and see if it is useful. Unfortunately, a user could use the UI to connect with JAWS. May be some edge cases or a bug.

    Hello. I recently bought 8700 XPS, replaced the 550W PSU and video card MSI GTX 660.

    The problem I have is the booting takes too long, almost 2 minutes. I see the screen black for about 1 minute before it goes to the screen of Windows 7.

    I updated the driver vga for later and others through dell system detects as well.

    What should I do to get rid of the black screen and reduce startup time?

    Boot in the Bios F2. Go to start. Boot USB support is set to disabled? If not, change it to disabled. Press F10 to exit the Bios and reboot.

  • Tecra S5 - Black display after starting windows XP

    Hello
    I had problems with the display driver last month after the new update, the driver of the original view was gone.
    After some restorations of older versions the screen worked, but not with the original display driver. I was Born the driver on the laptop and the character to install this new, but something is wrong.
    When I start the PC, the bios password is ask, filled, windows XP is started and the screen is dark without courier. Look of the screen reader does not start automatically to start Windows XP.

    What can I do? Only option work you the PC recovery CD?

    You can start a computer laptop properly using SafeMode (F8 at startup) option?

    What can you do?
    In my opinion, you have only two options: to install the Toshiba display driver or install the new OS by using the original recovery disk (radical option but it is better).

  • Black/white screens in FSX

    Hi all

    A small problem that I hope someone can help with it please...

    What I did:
    Install a third of the aircraft.

    What happened:
    (1) the area on the main screen where the preview plane normally displays is now empty; and
    (2) the main window (cockpit etc.) is also empty.

    It worked perfectly until I added the new aircraft (which I subsequently deleted). Problems began after I had run the Add-ons in FSC and them designated as "of trust" (according to the guidelines of this http://www.fsinsider.com/tips/Pages/TrustandVerify.aspx).

    My system:
    Six weeks old Dell Studio
    Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64 bit
    256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 (realize isn't the best technology, she has already worked well)
    15.6 "720 p WLED (1366 x 768)
    FSX Deluxe (all to date)

    So far I've tried:
    -Switching between modes full screen and windowed mode (this causes the screen just flashes between white and black and the desktop);
    -Setting of the resolution;
    -Reduce the variables available in ATI CCC (anti-aliasing etc.);
    -Updated all my drivers (who were all to date);
    -A clean boot.

    None of these solutions worked.

    I'm quickly running out of ideas and have not been able to find anything else useful online. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you very much

    Nick

    Hello Nick,
