Black Ribbon on the right side of my LCD

Hello

If a separate monitor (not a laptop), it will be a physical on her geometry setting so that you can
move the entire screen and enlarge if necessary. Also on the right, click on an empty area of the desktop-
Graphics properties - search for geometry settings (PCs and laptops).

If a laptop computer Right Click a white are desktop - properties Graphics - horizontal look - Vertical
and geometry settings.

If necessary contact the manufacturer of your support system and check their documents online and all
forums. Do the same with the monitor manufacturer if different from the manufacturer of the system.

I hope this helps.

  • Why does my HP laserjet 1022 produced a black line on the right side of the page?

Why does my HP laserjet 1022 produced a black line on the right side of the page? This occurs by using Word 2003, Photoshop, Acrobat etc. I don't get this with my Epson printer. My printer drivers are all to date. OS = Windows 7.

    Hello dqmcg

Have you checked programs and OS - seemed to be OK, so did a new install of the printer. I have seems to now work OK - IE the files previously printed with lines now don't (only verified although some).

I think that I was naïve in beliving Windows when he says that the printer and the driver were OK, and when I did a re-driver installation, Windows just used the file I already had. Also the "print test page" printer properties was always OK. Must have been very slight damage to the driver who showed up only with certain types of files of a few (different) programs.

Thank you very much for getting my brain to work and begin to think logically.

I have problems with my HP 8600N911g.  I have several vertical black lines on the printed page of right hand margin.  This only happens when I copy or scan. Printing from my pc is fine.  I did all the cleaning, cutting for over an hour and reset to factory default.  NOTHING WORKS.  Help, please.  I love the printer hp but tire of their problems, which are few, but when they occur, they are doozies.

    I am on Windows 7

    Hi peggymay.

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with black lines on your scans or copies.  I had this problem myself on my 8600 very clean and I was able to get it to be resolved. The question arises in fact from two locations and with a little luck, we can get this problem solved for you. First thing to look at is under the hood of the scanner. Lift the cover on the left of the large scanner glass and scanner, you will see a small strip of glass. Take a glass clear cleaner and a lint cloth and clean the small glass placed as well as the large glass. On the underside of the lid, you will see a white plastic strip. Please clean it as well. IF you have already done these steps please proceed to the next step.

The printer power cable must be connected to a wall outlet and NOT a power strip/Bar. HP printers have built in surge protector and if you have it plugged into a strip/Bar, the printer will NOT get all the power needed for the proper functioning and it will cause problems with scans or copies, and it might even generate false error messages on the printer screen.

Please try these steps and if they work, fantastic. But if they are not, please do not hesitate to write me again.

I thank very you much for your time.  Always happy to help.

    * Have you tried to clean the surface of the glass on the printer to ensure there are no particles causing this black line?

    * So, have you tried a hard reset of the printer?  Unplug the unit while on, disconnect the other end of the power cord of the direct plug, wait 30 seconds and plug in the.

Try to plug in his own taken dedicated as well, because the electrical noise from other products can cause these lines in the analyses.  Also, check the steps in the document is located here.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Color LaserJet CP1525nw: 1 1/2 black lines on the right side and another black spot on the side right laserjet cp1525nw color

I downloaded the software and latest drivers. It has the latest firmware. I contracted the toner and blown with compressed air. Look in the back for the dust from toner on the sleeve of teflon to fuser. Unplugged, restarted, of course my book has been for laser printers. Ran across several cleaning cycles, recalibrated color, put a piece of paper and toner open door when he was printing. Released A black to see if I could see and toner on blue cylinder. None of the things I've tried have solved the problem. Toner is about 3/4 down. It print fine with this new series of cartridges for quite a while.  I went from my warrarnty.

    .

The amount of toner from the printer say that there is only an estimate. Your default seems to me that the black toner cartridge is bad. First thing I would do is to replace the black toner cartridge as it should solve your problem.

  • FM 11: Black line to the right of the random images

    Background

I'm under FrameMaker 11.0.1.383. I'm grabbing the screenshots with Snapx Pro X, which open in Photoshop CS6. I annotate the blow and save the file as a .psd, and then import the .psd in a new image in Framemaker. The framework has no fill and no respect.

    The problem

About half the images appear with a black line on the right side.

The same exact image imported into InDesign CS6 doesn't have the black line.

    My solution

Crop the images slightly to hide the line.

Anyone else seen elsewhere, or have a better solution?

    sample.jpg

    Thank you! Barb

    Barb,

You can always "save under" PNG of the original PSD in Photoshop to allow future editing.

Have you tested this option to verify if it is indeed the DSP filter that creates the problem? If you see this black line with another file created from the PSD format, I suspect something in the image file tto begin with.

Right-click in a useful surface of the screen, then select the screen resolution. In the resolution drop-down list change resolution one that says (recommended). This will be the native screen resolution of your computer screen laptop graphics solution nd.  Once you have done that select apply and then OK.

  • Color MFP M277dw LaserjetPro: Problem in black with print on the right side of the paper on a HP Color LaserJet Pro M277dw MFP

When I print a page of text or an image to be in color or black and white about 1.5 inches on the right side of the page, the black part is dimmed.  I tried to shake the black toner, but nothing has changed...

There is obviously enough ink that the rest of the page prints fine.

Please advise on how to deal with this.

    Thank you.

Can you post a sample. It could still be the toner cartridge there is a load inside roll and if a part of the roller is defective so that area will print light or does not print at all. It could also be the laser/scanner lens dusted the course in this area. Most of the time, it is the toner cartridge.

  • Pavilion g6: black border appeared on the right side of the screen - the task bar disappeared downstairs - 1280 x 800 (recommended)

My laptop recently hooked and I couldn't even do a ctrl/alt/delete to run the programme of work to see what was going on, so I turned off manually. At the start, I have a black border running down the right side of the page and can not see the taskbar at the bottom. I put in 1280 x 720 resolution to allow access to the bottom task bar. I updated the driver for the display, but this did not remedy the problem. How can I go back to 1280 x 800?

FIXED! Last series of Microsoft updates have cured the problem. The resolution is now in 1366 x 768 (recommended)!

When I print a page of text or an image to be in color or black and white about 1.5 inches on the right side of the page, the black part is dimmed.  I tried to shake the black toner, but nothing has changed...  Should I replace the black toner?

    Hey @candreas,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you have some problems with printing faded on the side of your impressions of your printer Laserjet M277dw range. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once completed, this document describes How to solve print quality problems with your printer.

If after following the above, are you always see fainted to prints, either the cartridge or the printer needs to be replaced. You can contact the HP Support by clicking here and filling out the form below.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to improve the print quality or to reach a resolution with the support, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • Black print cartridge registers is not on the right side of the page

CP1215 has developed a weird problem! Recently replaced the black print cartridge (new, original HP).

Printing a document in BLACK color, this isn't a problem. Crisp and clear impressions.

Print the same document in color gives completely misaligned recording BLACK on the side RIGHT of the page. The side LEFT is clear!

Printing CONFIGURATION PAGE confirms the problem. Registration of marks below on the LEFT are perfectly aligned.

But on the lower RIGHT, all colors are aligned with the exception of black - the black line is much higher and offset printing to the right where it should be. That's why the color prints are all blurry on the right side of the page.

Calibration several times running, check the drivers etc.

    Any help/advice is really appreciated!

    Hi Gemini02,

Sorry about the long absence, but was busy with other stuff. More beat troubleshooting according to your last email.

First of all, a few answers to your questions:

    1. don't know what the problem is. Don't want to start replacing immediately.

    2. all ink levels are more than 80%; Black nine.

    3. all the cartridges are original HP Black has been replaced recently, the other three provided with your printer.

    4. the paper is double-a premium, 80gr

5 paper is set on the plain. Have you tried with the HP90 and light parameters too.

After following your instructions of troubleshooting:

6 printer moved closer to the wall outlet - it's a machine heavy tho!

7 pressed & held green button. Config and supply status printed pages.

    8. print with other applications (Photoshop, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Reader).

Problem persisted. Registration completely to the bottom of the hand right side of the page and the worst in the lower corner straight out.

    Acts of desperation next, pure:

9 deleted each cartridge, shaken several times on the axis horizontal and then triggered one end while decreasing the other and vice-versa several times. Replaced in the status bar.

    10. Ran HP Toolbox calibration.

    11. test print to Adobe Reader - same document as before. Substantial improvement!

    12. Repeat steps 9 and 10. Further improvement.

    13. Repeat steps 9 and 10 more. Almost no problem checking.

    14. Repeat steps 9 and 10 more. No record of the questions at all!

Then, to avoid the location and power source:

    15. moved printer in its normal location.

16 connected the printer to its normal power source - an extension of good quality.

    17. reprinted on the same page. No registration no questions at all.

I have no idea why the steps 9 and 10 would have such an impact. And why repeating them would improve the print quality progressively until no problems are observable. I have detailed my action here in case they can help someone else.

I thank very you much for the support and guidance you provided. If you have any idea why the repeated shaking and calibration solved this problem, I would be very interested! Keeping in mind I ran several times previously without success to calibration.

    Thanks again for your help.
