Black Screen HP G62-b16st and ati radeon hd 5470

Hi, I have a problem with my laptop (Hp g62 - b16st) I use this laptop for 2011 and I didn't have any complain so far, but 3 days ago when I played PES 2013 he suddenly restarted then blue screen name appeared. I did some research on google about this problem and I see no useful solution. My problem is on Ati Radeon Hd 5470. When I switch to Ati Radeon I see just black screen and if I don't disable it in safe mode it keep black screen display. I tried everything to fix it, but nothing happened.  I hope you can help me because I couldn't find the solution by myself.

Hi uAunknown, welcome to the Forums of HP. I hope that the blue screen and screen black behavior you are experiencing is pilot-related and not related material.  First restore the original graphics drivers (Intel & AMD) using this method: use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7)

Then, download and install the drivers updated here:

original title: black screen, with toolbar frozen and no icons! :(

    Hello

my laptop (vista) recently has devloped a problem in which the Bureau during its connection, is black with no icons and a toolbar frozen. This PC can hang and will only work in safe mode. However, in safe mode, it is very slow, and yet I can not delete all the files, but I managed to save my personal files.

There is no current system restores for me to do, and I did the test of material, without known defects.

I also noticed when his connection, because I did not need to press on enter to type my password, the box is already open :/

Thanks in advance, I hope someone will have the answer to my problem :)

    Sam my setup is:

Medion M96350, Intel Core 2 Duo, T520 @1.5 - Ghz, Vista Home Premium

This also happens if you did a recent update of windows that has corrupted or have recently installed the new drivers on something that is causing a conflict.

I don't really know a final solution but her below can make the black screen disappear temporarily:

1-ctrl-alt-del to get to Task Manager
    2. go to the "Applications" tab
    3. a 'new task... ". »
    4 type "explorer.exe".

If the above get rid of the black screen, it is always likely that she will return when you then start the PC, but at least it can allow you to cancel any installation driver/updates to see if that solve the problem.

    (2) I downloaded the latest updates for microsoft video card, but they are in the form of files * .cab, can someone explain how to install them.

With the Xpress 200 integrated graphics, you will not be able to get Aero or other effects of Windows 7.

You can adapt a motherboard graphics card: AGP or PCI-E slot there. A Radeon 3400 or other card compatible Windows 7 can be pretty cheap and would provide Aero and other effects of Windows 7.

  • Desktop does not - black screen with the cursor and access to Task Manager

Well, I played recent MMO and to do this, I had to update my sound drivers and graphics. I managed to finish my first uninstall all the old drivers-flawless and it worked perfectly thereafter with no video issues (that I had before the uninstall, but nothing harmful to the system). Eventually however, I started to get some pop ups Windows 2008 C++ REDIS saying that atieclxx.exe had asked to be terminated in an unusual way. No problem, I close the error message and everything always works as it should. No random crashes.

My problem is that wermgr.exe (I am fairly certain that this is the title, but I did not work right now), began leaving me with a black screen and the cursor when I connect. In most cases, I can open the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete, however, it sometimes won't start, and when I start to kill unnecessary tasks, they take some time to die. I know that black screens are often a defective start of explorer.exe, which manages office and file, browsers so I use the Task Manager to run it and it dies or continues to do nothing without making the office. Whenever this happens, wermgr.exe was running (Windows error handler). When I kill this task, which often has duplicates, I can finally get explorer.exe to load. I have the same problem with safe mode, except that the display shows the version of windows and the details in each corner until explorer.exe load finally. I've also had freezing issues long whenever Werfault.exe jump upward and the only thing that those fixed has been disable Werfault.exe in the services menu.
It is clear to me that the windows error reporting programs consume a lot of the capacity of the CPU of my computer and they are probably the source of the biggest problems I'm having. I should stop start, or they are just neutral, awakened by a bigger problem?
On a smaller note, C++ error is probably due to me not having is not the correct edition of the redistributable C++ installed, or perhaps too many distributions. The last edition, I have installed is 10.0.40219 of the x 86 and x 64 redistributable and runtimes (2010). Are the oldest, I installed some updates ATL and 5 2005 Redistributable (2 x 64 versions). Atieclxx.exe is the program having the pop-ups demand 'unusual termination. " The version of my ATI Radeon drivers are included in Version 2012.1116.1515.27190 of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center.
Now, finally, I think it's useless, I'll give you my specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit
Processor: AMD Athlon TF-20, 1.60 GHz
    RAM: 3.00 GB
    Model: Acer Aspire 5534
    BIOS: InsydeH2O V1.12
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 3200, using aticfx64.dll and aticfx32.dll
I do not believe that a reinstallation is necessary, because I got my computer in good enough condition that I can write this message and use it as usual, however, it's a nuisance to do, because it requires waiting a few minutes while the wermgr.exe process is stopped by the Task Manager.

HiJack This help "fix selected", I removed the SmartShopper and BHO entry no name, as well as a few more suspicious looking files and those to the left of the old installs (windowblinds). I also deleted all entries in ø16 because I didn't need them and didn't like their operation. Then, I deleted two mistakes of R3, who looked extremely suspicious.

    IT'S FIXED NOW!
I restarted and connected to be greeted with my office. The second csrss.exe is still underway, and atieclxx.exe works well as well. Although they appear to be the cause of the problem, because I am intimately familiar with the process of my computer, it is also clear that many of the comes from problems of registry and the programs that I have only half managed to uninstall. I hope this helps people to the problem in the future, and if my problem recur soon, I will return to this article with more information.
As a final note, I was extremely impressed with HiJack this, because I used it for the first time in order to solve this problem. He kindly explained to me why he alerted me and what kind of problems listed that would cause a lot of things helped me to decide what to remove. Now I know why divert this is recommended everywhere on the internet as a diagnostic tool.
To not appear as an advertising bot, but it's the tool that solved my problem for this, I have it suggests. in any case, good luck and I hope you can fix this problem yourself. With the help of google, an open mind and careful decision making, it is possible to solve anything. I do not recommend using a shotgun to do so ;)

Now no error message at all, that I can see a black screen.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) and the drivers are up to date.

  • Black screen during games out and in minimizing

    Prouct name and number:

    HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC LZ667EA #ABU

    Operating system:

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Changes to the system:

Router has changed twice but not recently

The computer is 18 months old and can handle basic tasks to a reasonable level (slow down if two many windows are open at the same time, but maybe it's just my slow internet speed). I have download games through Steam from Valve service and do since almost a year now. So far, games have managed very well, and even though I have your chart down parameters, but they are playable.

But now, every time I minimize or close a game, the computer runs for a few seconds and then shows me a white screen. The power light flashes and I can hear a high-pitched sound of the box on the charger cable. At the beginning I didn't see this as a problem because it only lasted about ten seconds each time and was taken to the 'locked user' screen where I could log in and continue.

Now the black screen can display up to five minutes in a period which can be really frustrating. The strange thing is that I can play for hours at a time without what is happening but as soon as I close or minimize the game it happens. This can happen even if the game has only run for a few seconds or so and I close it.

I don't know if it is overheating, but if I could get advice it certainly helps. Thank you!

I was going to follow the procedure that you listed, but I found a solution to the problem. As there was light the AC adapter noise when the screen went black, I decided to replace the AC adapter with an old I use from another computer. It works fine now.

    Sorry for any inconvinience caused.

  • HP Pavilion G6: Black screen, Cap lock blinks and turned on wifi in orange

Bought this non-functional computer for $40.  The screen is black, the caps lock flashes and the wifi light is lit in orange.  At the time, we could hear all the computer starts, the fan would go, the drive initialize... so I watched a few videos on the problems of black screen on youtube, he got up and running.

However, it is a tease, she worked for less than a month.  I does not solve the problem which has been heat.  I buy quadfans for going below but they turned off during the night and should not have.  I have the computer to check the updates at 03:00, so the computer would then come and fans wouldn't.

Well, the black screen problem is backkkk.  The fan don't dΘmarre, try the hard drive.  This time nothing is set.  Ive pulled the motherboard to replace the fan.  I replaced and updated the hard drive and memory... still nothing.   It also has a new battery and power cord.  Any suggestions as to what may be the problem?

  • Black screen HP G62

Hello. All of a sudden, I'm having a problem with my laptop. One day it just stopped working properly. I tried to start this morning, but I got a black screen. All the power lights are on, I can hear the functioning of the fan, but only for a few seconds then it just falls dead, turns do not at all. I tried one way to solve this I found that is to remove the battery, unplug the adapter, press and hold power for 30 to 60 seconds and try again. Does not work. All the lights are on, the fan runs for 5 seconds then dies and remains only a black screen. A way to fix this problem yourself?

The repair shop, I'd go, or someone who is experienced with laptop repair.  I think it's a problem of material for sure.

    Hey people,

I recently bought a XC605 and tried to install a PCIe ATI RADEON HD 3450 graphics card. Unfortunately it does not work. I already read a few items here in the forum, but they do not solve my problem. The card works fine in other machines. I also tried the card with a different (higher) power in the XC605, the problem remains the same.

The problem is that if the system starts with the new installed card, I don't get no video on any location VGA. I already checked the BIOS twice, but there is no switch, which could solve the problem.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • Corrupt BIOS V5 531 Acer black screen after startup, f2 and f12 also. Repairable?

    Hello

Yesterday I tried to install Win 7 if I could play D & D Neverwinter on Arc after using * nix systems study (looking to start a career as an administrator). I had plugged into a power strip that was, unbeknownst to me, turned off and I went to make coffee and watch some news. When I came back to check the progress of my laptop was powered off and since then I havn't been avle start without being blocked at a black screen after the start page of the bios. The f2 and f12 also leads to a black screen, I can not change the boot device or enter the bios Setup.

Is - fixable at all? For example, is the a key-combo, I can use it to restore from a backup bios? Or, do I have to bring in a technician who can install a new chip bios or flash this old some how? Or did I brick pemanently my device?

V1.22 is what you want to be part of a unit of Windows 7.

The problem is if it crashed during the upgrade process, it will take some special tools clearly on the chip on the MB and recharge it with a new BIOS. I would contact your local support team to see what options are available.

  • Boots Vista black screen with white cursor and nothing else (Black Screen of Death)

After a download from Microsoft update last week, my system has rebooted. He first had a screen blue error, rebooted, reported a disk error and automatically run CHKDSK. Since then, the system has started a black with white slider screen and nothing else. This happens at startup options (Normal, safe, safe with the last command good known configuration). Not even sticky keys would come to the top. CTRL-Alt-Delete, Ctrl-Alt-Esc and all other keys has nothing did. Even with a right click.

I searched all over the web for solutions. I found (and tried) several over the past week, but nothing has worked.

    Here's what I tried...

F8 held key on boot to the top and entered the startup recovery. Ran of recovery. Initially so found of disk errors. Those fixed. Then he said he could not repair the system and reported two pilot errors.

Tried system restore. He said that I had no restore points (even if I know that I had before).

With the help of recovery options, I went to the command prompt. Asked to RegEdit and load the Software hive. Checked the connection entry Windows NT; made sure, it has been set to explorer.exe

The system, checked RpcSs Key hive. Already the NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService value

Renamed event connects winevt and not create the Logs folder

Removed the hard drive. Attached to another system (as slaves), and the registered file permissions. They have screwed everything up. The fixed file permissions and drive put back in original system.

Œuvres self-retaining keys now. Do not, however, as my sticky keys doesn't have a link to configuration.

Went back into recovery startup via the F8 key at startup. Now, when I run start recovery, it says that everything is going well and there is no problem.

I have download the hotfix from article 977675 Microsoft, but I don't know how I can apply it without being able to get into windows. I would like to contact MS e-mail or chat support, but I can't get the product ID without being able to connect (frustrating talk).

I would like to reinstall OS, but HP does not provide an installation disc with their systems (only a full restore partition). My system is backed up (with the exception of the Windows folder), but I really don't want to have to make a full recovery, as I have a lot of specialized programs and settings that would probably take me a week to re - install and re - set.

    Anyone have any new ideas?

    Hello

Here's my usual BlackScreen convenience store, because it may be that you haven't tried
or if you have access you might be able to come back and start some of them.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
by tapping F8 as you start several times.

First check this thread in case it is simple and if not to come back to this thread.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a
Google to see the proposed repairs, whom some have worked however these cover a wide

A friend gave me the laptop since they bought a new.  I tried to do a clean install of Windows Vista on a laptop Gateway P6831 FX.  After changing the boot order in the bios settings, the dvd starts to spin.  The only thing that appears on the screen is a screen black/Bank.  I'm never invited with the message 'Press any key to start the installation' to start copying the files for vista.
