Black screen then crash tricks

Sometimes when I go to Web pages, the entire page is black. This the most often occurs when scrolling, but can also occur when loading a page, or even randomly. Usually, but not always, scrolling more suits him. shortly after these problems, Firefox will crash often.

Your accident reports have different signatures, but the percentage system in incident reports memory usage is quite high, so it may be out of memory crashes.

A few weeks ago it started to break up during different tasks, no bsod or error message, just a black screen crash and reboot. The typical check/clean/test when discovered that even if sys properties reported two GB of info sys ram only showed 256 MB total physical. So my question is: is this a power supply motherboard problem or power, or am I just missing something here? I wonder on BIOS or CMOS, but they have not been affected or modded and it worked. In addition, av is up-to-date with no reports of virus.

    Looks like you got a BSOD but just don't see it because XP is supposed to relaunch on these failures.  If your system is configured to save dump files, we can always get infromation from last bit depressed.  If the sytem is not configured to save dump files, make sure and then let a few dump files accumulate so we have something to look at.

    If you are forced to do so, you can certainly guess all what he could be and try things.

    Please provide more information on your system.

    Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

    Click OK, and when the system info summary appears, click Edit, select all, copy and paste then return here.

    For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste that information here.

    There would be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), or what seems to be only your business that you can remove the dough.  Send two copy/pasta.

    XP is configured to restart automatically on some system failures, you will need to disable this feature for BSOD information will remain on the screen for you to see.

    Configure your system does not automatically restart on system failure (this is what he wants to do):

    Right click my computer, properties, advanced, startup and recovery settings.

    In the system failure section:

    Put a check mark in the box "write an event to the system log.

    Put a check mark in the box "send an administrative alert.

    Uncheck 'automatically restart '.

    In the Write debugging information section select:

    Partial dump (64 KB)

    Set the directory small dumpster:

    %SystemRoot%\Minidump

    Click OK, OK.

    Restart your computer.

    What is your system brand and model?

    Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

    Download BlueScreenView here:
    Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all of your files to dump.
    If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).
    Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files.  Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).
    Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt.  Open BSOD.txt with a text editor, copy the text and paste it in your next reply.

  • A black screen, then a blue screen

    The status bar for my CD drive was off the track so I removed the side panel to look at. He was COVERED in dust. So I took a cloth and sprinkled the entire interior. The fan was BAD and got everything clean. I unplugged the two cords that were clinging to the back of the CD player to try to fix the tray. Well, the plateau is back on track and works very well!  However, now a black screen appears and says CPU fan has failed and stops within 5 seconds, it seems, but the fan works well. And then, sometimes after you turn it on, I get a blue screen that says computer has failed. I break something? I connected the cables to the back of the CD player and there are only 2 points, in that they can go. Any suggustions? Don't know what I did or what I need to do? HELP Please!

    The CPU fan is a different fan for the computer case fan.

    You did of course something back there.

    CPU fan

    Used to cool the radiator of CPU (central processing unit). Effective cooling of heat concentrated as an large-scale integrated circuits requires a heat sink, which may be cooled by a fan. use of a single fan will not prevent an overheating of the small chip.

    Hello

    I just bought this system about two weeks ago: it is HP 110-243w desktop, product # is F3D4AA #ABA and use

    If it isn't one thing, it's another. You guys have been up to perfect present to solve my problems, so here's one for you. I get a black screen suddenly casual with an automatic restart, sometimes with an error message that says that my computer "has recovered from a serious error".  Sometimes it doesn't even bother with that.  Now, let me tell you how that made my life: I'm an old fart who like to play online card games.     Data;
    Computer HP Pavilion dv9000

    As I have no recovery CD, I can't do anything (software installed when I bougth the PC without any CD included).

    I have a good software entering (and identification number is located on the computer), but I can't find anywhere to download on a recovery disc (CD)?

    Very frustrating!

    Hello

    There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

    You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

    They should do this for a small fee.

    To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

    You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

    How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

    "How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

    And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

    The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

    Ask them to the proper key sequence.

    Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

    If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

    You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

    Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

    And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

    Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

    "How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

    And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

    And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Equium M50-244 blocks black screen then restart

    I am currently in a laptop for a friend he pays a month of repair of malfunctions on his laptop, world pc so he sent 2 times back and the above error is still there

    the laptop started to hang and make the mistake of ati bsod

    now, I tried to clean the system and reinstall xp, I'm so far through the installation and then it crashes

    then when I try to reboot the screen is all black and if I try a monitor is just the same

    also crashes for the memtest86 + after that about an hour from cold start or 10 minutes of a boot hot and the laptop does not warm start

    What is CPU or gfx questions?

    can someone please tell me what to do

    Hello

    This problem may be related to different hardware parts
    You said col didn t of memtest86 + test correctly although this means there could be a RAM problem.
    You said that the screen becomes black and a BSOD with ATI error appears also that this would mean that the graphics chip is not ok

    It would also be possible that the temperature high inside the cell affects mobile functionality eventually the graphics chip becomes hot and that is why temperature affects the RAM and the laptop freezes.

    What to say if the graphics chip is the reason for this while the whole motherboard must be replaced and a motherboard is not cheap

    Maybe you need to find a second hand M50 and could replace the motherboard in order to test it

    I had this problem too, but it resolved now on the Apple store. They had seen previously on older hardware which has been updated for Sierra with FireVault market and occurs when the operating system is switching graphics modes. I got just my logic board replaced so wanted it is solved.

    We have attempted to extinguish FireVault, but the question was still there. Then they have successfully installed a new copy of a Mavericks and the problem was gone. Then they installed a new copy of Sierra and the question is still missing. Now, I have re-enabled FireVault and the issue has gone.

  • BLACK SCREEN THEN RESTARTS

    This happens at least once a week.  I have a dell laptop.  When closing or opening files, everything goes black and it restarts automatically.  Here's the signature errot to get it:

    BCCode:100008e

    BCP1:C0000005

    BCP2: Bf8046BE

    BCP3: 9 517408

    What is the problem?

    Hello

    Update your driver, BIOS and any software of control and then work through the troubleshooting services
    above if necessary.

    Could be a nuisance pilot. Update your drivers manually looking at system manufacturer and
    Sites of the manufacturer of the device.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
    For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
    Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
    your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
    Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
    Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
    with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
    Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
    BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
    presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
    in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
    Updates, this leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who will be generally
    be older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it) and
    Then, get new ones manually if you wish.

  • 6 sec while charging iPhone black screen problem

    Hi guys,.

    Thanks for reading my question first.

    After using for years android phones, I decided to switch to the iPhone (6 s) and so far I'm in love.

    I have used for about a month now and start a day before, I had this black screen during charging problem and I hope someone who does could shed some light on this issue.

    At the end of the day, I connect my iPhone to my computer to back up (I have an automatic back when it is connected to the computer), as well as to recharge.  Automatic backup takes about 15 seconds that I have not much to my phone again and the rest of the time, it is just the battery.  I have check the iTune on my computer from time to time to see how far along the load came and the other day, I noticed that the prosecution has blocked 99% for a long time.  It weird, I woke my phone to check and the screen did not light completely black.

    After a quick search, I learned that most of the time, it's a software crash and everything that I had to do it was hard reset my phone, I was pushing the House and buttons at the same time and it worked.

    Fast-forward yesterday evening, once more I have recharge my phone connected to my computer and this time, he showed on iTune the battery charge has stuck at 81%.  I tried to wake up my phone without success and once again, I have had to reset hard to restart my phone.

    If hard reset worked both times, I won't be the everyday phenomenon and if there is a permanent fix, I would try it.

    I should mention that when I bought my 6s (new / sealed) a month ago and it came with iOS 9.0.  I read online that the last iOS 9.3.1 has many problems and most of them would recommend do not update immediately so I've been using iOS 9.0.

    Do you think that this black screen (software crash likely?) has something to do with an older version of iOS I use?

    Should I try the upgrade to iOS 9.3.1 and see if that makes a difference?

    Once the upgrade to the latest iOS and if you are not happy with it, can go back you to your old version of iOS (in my case 9.0)?

    Thank you very much in advance for your help!

    Your iPhone is a very new phone. You should be able to update without problem. If it was my phone, I would apply the update. I have updated my iPhone 5s without any problem at all whenever a new update of iOS was released. You backup every day, so in the unlikely event that something is wrong, you would be able to restore the phone and restore the backup. You wouldn't lose any data.

    Once the upgrade to the latest iOS and if you are not happy with it, can go back you to your old version of iOS (in my case 9.0)?

    Decommissioning of the iOS is not supported by Apple and it would not be an option.

    IF you update the phone and continue to have problems, take it to an Apple Store and ask them to take a look. The phone is still under warranty.

    I m afraid the BIOS update has no procedure and therefore the ROM chip has not updated as it should. This is the reason why the laptop can not start correctly.

    I think that it of necessary to reflash the ROM BIOS module Once again, but this can be done only using a procedure of BIOS of crisis.
    As far as I know this can be done only through ASP because there is no traditional BIOS version by download.

    Hard drive test passed as well as the other test (memory, etc.).  Any suggestions how to solve this problem? Thank you

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
