Connection via PCoIP gives a black screen, then closes

I have a question, if I connect my view environment 4.0 via the client, authenticate and select a pool of Office I will be presented with a black screen that will sit there for a few seconds, and then close. This question is NOT replicated through the Web portal, which I believe uses RDP.

I went through the steps on these two articles of the, but my problem persists:

VDI with PCoIP desktop display a black screen...

View customer login screen black...

I'd appreciate any help you could provide!

Thank you!

    Hello

As I understand it, he does. I say that because I have a networking team that looks after that and I can tell you, we had so much harm to our security server setting.

Mainly in our situation, our security server is behind not only the external firewall, but also BIG IP F5 load balancing. If the client connects to an IP address on the F5 what NAT then the connection to the Security server that tunnels and finally to the customer.

What you must ensure, is that in your configuration settings to display where you specify settings for the Security Server, that you have listed in this external IP address as the IP that the clients connect, this is where the customer is looking for the answer of. To complicate things for us, we had the customer come starting an Internet connection and packages back wanted to go on another connection (another IP address).

To help out you, not only to have the Security server logs, but if you can do it if you try to connect to a pool with a single machine, then you can look at the logs of the agent on this computer. It will give the list the connection attempt if it gets that far. I remember when the successful troubleshooting connection will be a line that sayd, that the customer is THAT NAT would have if you have someone who can read newspapers, wireshark can also be good to see what is happening on the place where.

Hope that helped, good luck, it can be a headache (try not to hit your head on the desk too).

  • Discover 5 PCOIP affected by black screen

    Hi all

I meet the famous black screen when trying to access a desktop through PCOIP session. RDP connections work fine. I followed (I think) the document referring to the 3 steps to fix this problem without success. I am unable to get through PCOIP connections work properly via the server connection (internal) or security (external)

Any help would be appreciated. The Setup is as follows

    1 VC (vsphere 5)

1 connection to the server - view 5 install (windows firewall disabled)

1 security server - part 5 install (windows firewall disabled).

Virtual desktop Windows 7 (windows firewall disabled)

    Server Config connection

Secure HTTPS tunnel is configured with the URL of the login server with the connection to the active desktop

PCOIP gateway is configured with the IP address of the server connection with this gateway secure to use verified pcoip Desktop connections

    Server Security Configuration

Secure HTTPS tunnel is configured with the connectable external URL

PCOIP external gateway is configured with the connectable external IP address (same IP address which resolves the url for the above secure tunnel)

While trying to connect to pcoip session from the local network, receive a black screen for about 10 seconds then a disconnection without error.

While trying to connect via external, the same behavior occurs.

To facilitate the troubleshooting of this problem, I allowed all traffic between subnets. I see not all packages being removed through the firewall.

This is certainly not the right display driver.

Have you tried the simple solution of uninstalling the agent, uninstall Vmware tools, then reinstall the tools, then reinstall the Agent.

In this exact order.  Based on your screenshot you have might have just a pilot get trampled by something else.

  • Satellite M30X: Can't watch movies on external LCD screen via a cable VGA - black screen?

    Hello.

I have toshiba laptop M30X satellite and I difficutlties about the link between the laptop and lcd tv 32 S 3000.

    1. first of all, I tried with the s-Video cable: I see what is on the screen of the computer laptop on the TV screen, but much worse than plugging in the VGA cable, in terms of sharpness and resolution. I did this by setting the LCD display in the menu windows.

    2. when I use the VGA cable, I don't see it on the TV screen, what is on the screen of the laptop.
I might need to upgrade the drivers for the ATI radeon 9600/9700 series factory installed on the laptop?

BUT the biggest problem arises when I want to see on lcd display media player file formats: mpeg, avi, etc.

What's happening: on the screen of the laptop, I have the image of the film, and on the LCD TV screen I have BLACK SCREEN (even the media player toolbars are still visible)
If anyone has an ideea, I appreciate it.

    Thank you for your time.

    > 2. When I use the VGA cable, I don't see it on the TV screen, what is on the screen of the laptop.
    > I might need to upgrade the drivers for the ATI radeon 9600/9700 series factory installed on the laptop?
This has nothing to do with the display driver, but with the connection.
The VGA port should be used to connect the external TFT and not the TV monitor
But have you used the option of FN + F5 to switch between screens devices?

    > On the screen of the laptop, I have the image of the film, and on the LCD TV screen I have BLACK SCREEN (even the media player toolbars are still visible)
To my knowledge, you must first switch the display on the external monitor and then you should start the film actor.

  • A black screen, then a blue screen

The status bar for my CD drive was off the track so I removed the side panel to look at. He was COVERED in dust. So I took a cloth and sprinkled the entire interior. The fan was BAD and got everything clean. I unplugged the two cords that were clinging to the back of the CD player to try to fix the tray. Well, the plateau is back on track and works very well!  However, now a black screen appears and says CPU fan has failed and stops within 5 seconds, it seems, but the fan works well. And then, sometimes after you turn it on, I get a blue screen that says computer has failed. I break something? I connected the cables to the back of the CD player and there are only 2 points, in that they can go. Any suggustions? Don't know what I did or what I need to do? HELP Please!

The CPU fan is a different fan for the computer case fan.

You did of course something back there.

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_fan

    CPU fan

Used to cool the radiator of CPU (central processing unit). Effective cooling of heat concentrated as an large-scale integrated circuits requires a heat sink, which may be cooled by a fan. use of a single fan will not prevent an overheating of the small chip.

  • VMware View 5 PCoIP get a black screen on wide AREA network

    Hello community,

I got a VMware View 5 Infrastructure with a vCenter Server, a connectionserver of view and some clients such as VMs.

Internally, everything works - connections PCoIP and RDP do their job very well.

Know that we want to publish the vDesktops over the WAN. Users must connect to the virtual machines in their laptops or iPad (or iPhone) at home. So, we have configured our firewall to open the IP Wan (194.209.166.xy) to the internal IP (192.168.199.xy). A DNS entry for view.xy.com shows the IP WAN. If the WAN connection to infrastructure display RDP works - but PCoIP connections shows a black screen after 10 to 30 seconds after logon. We never see an interaction of oder break Windows. The screen is black after the logoninformations in the client view.

We have configured the connectionserver display settings as described in some articles here... 7

    The external url HTTPS: https://view.xy.com

checkbox activ: tunnel connection secure user desktop

    PCoIP external url: 194.209.166.xy:4172

checkbox activ: use pcoip gateway secure for pcoip Desktop connections

We have forgotten to do some settings or is it an another workaround to work with PCoIP over the WAN?

    Kind regards

    Freddie

When I start the computer, it stops after the session of the BIOS and just give me a black screen empty, with a marker in the upper left conner.

As I have no recovery CD, I can't do anything (software installed when I bougth the PC without any CD included).

I have a good software entering (and identification number is located on the computer), but I can't find anywhere to download on a recovery disc (CD)?

    Very frustrating!

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Black screen then restarts randomly

    Hello

I just bought this system about two weeks ago: it is HP 110-243w desktop, product # is F3D4AA #ABA and use

    Windows 8.1.

My problem is whenever I play a game, simply go to the black screen and then restart to sign on the screen (windows). I am currently using IE11.

It's very frustrating to say the least. Yes, I respect the requirements to play this game (Big Fish Games). The viewfinder of the game I play on. This started to happen a few days ago playing a different game on the same web site. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Just to note: I'm new on windows 8.1, another computer is Vista and have no problem to play on this one here.

    Thank you

Thank you pamorgos for your reply. I'll try as you suggest and change browsers. If nothing changes I wouldn't it.

  • Black screen, then automatic reboot

If it isn't one thing, it's another. You guys have been up to perfect present to solve my problems, so here's one for you. I get a black screen suddenly casual with an automatic restart, sometimes with an error message that says that my computer "has recovered from a serious error".  Sometimes it doesn't even bother with that.  Now, let me tell you how that made my life: I'm an old fart who like to play online card games. In the 1960s to play hearts, I've never played a perfect match. I was just a touch away from my first perfect game when the screen went black. • P2V Office gives a black screen in full screen

So I have a new desktop computer and I've done a P2V on my old desk. Set up on our servers from view with a trust dedicated to me.

I can sign in, however, if I put it in mode full-screen, the screen remains black.

In fact, it displays black screen if I resize the window beyond size approximately 1290 x 790. (take a guess, I'm on a monitor 22 '')

The pool is set up to allow 2 monitors and set to max resolution.

My question is, has anyone encounter this problem before and how solve you this problem? I don't mind running in a window, but it would be nice to use the full screen. I won't have this forever desktop computer, it's mostly just to ease the transition between offices.

    Thanks in advance.

If you use Windows 7, set the pool field (number of screens, mem) display to the maximum options.

So that change memory to take effect, you will have to completely turn off your VM (reboot won't be enough).

Its existence on your iPhone is maybe a problem.  You can try to use the iPhone without this "shield" because it can hinder the iPhone proximity sensors.
